Update rules only for the keys of a DSO

Hi everybody,
We have a problem after our recent migration to BI 7.0.
In a transfer rule, the 0RECORDMODE is set to 'D' and in the update rules only the keys of the DSO are mapped. It's just for a deletion of data in the DSO.
In BW 3.5, everything was fine but now it doesn't work anymore. Data are transfered but not inserted in the DSO.
I've tried to affect a constant to a characteristic which is not a key in the update rules and the data are correctly inserted.
Is it a normal comportment ?
Any idea is welcome.

I think I have a similar problem. I've got updates for iWork apps available after upgrading to Mavericks. I've tried both my apple ID and my wife's but I get an error with both saying the software was purchased with a different ID. I have no idea what ID that would be. Is there anyway to check the ID the software is licensed to?

iOS 6 can be loaded without problem on the 3GS. Not all features are supported however.

"Error when activating update rule" after changing ODS key

Hi Gurus,
I have problem when transporting in productive system an existing ODS & the update rule linked. The message is : "Error when activating update rule".
This is when i move one field from the key to a simple field of the ODS.
Before transporting requests, i deleted data in the ODS by right-click on ODS --> Request tab --> select the request --> click on delete....
I don't understand because i did the same in Qual environment and everything is OK : transport request & ODS loading...
Please help.....

Please try to check/perform the following steps:
1- You must ensure for the update rule have mapping between infosources
   and ODS/CUBEs correct, this means that also these objects need
   to be of the same version in the source system of the transport as in
   target system.
2- Please ensure all infoobjects in the cube are active.Please
   reactivate all the objects again in source system.
3- Ensure all infoobjects are found in the communication structure.
4- Please try to collect the update rule via BW transport connection
   with the grouping option "only necessary objects" and then transport
   those objects again.
Could you please reactivate the infocube and its update rules again
and then create a new transport for this infocube and transport it
again.

Edit password rules only for BCC user

our customer has requested some changes on the password rules only for BCC users.
So, i should change the follow component:
/atg/userprofiling/passwordchecker/PasswordMinLengthRule

/atg/userprofiling/passwordchecker/PasswordMustIncludeNumberRule
/atg/userprofiling/passwordchecker/PasswordMustIncludeSymbolRule

/atg/userprofiling/passwordchecker/InternalPasswordNotInPreviousNRule
But the component password rules above, should be changed only for the BCC users. How can i do this?

Hi Christoph,
in your Identity Store, you can use LDAP Server as authentification method (Tab Workflow). You need an attribute which contains the DN of the users and fill out port and host of your directory. That means that the PW can remain in the AD. Just try it, haven't used this possibility yet. You could also use Kerberos via AD instead. These scenarios don't cover your requirement that some might be without an AD account (which is not that common).
Otherwise it's getting difficult again to get all passwords at once from your AD. You have to decrypt the passwords without a key... AD could store a lower encrypted password for NT4, which makes this a bit easier, but still "unesthetic". You get these hashes via SSL and not with the common initial load jobs.
The PW-Hook gets the passwords before they are set. That's why you could store and ecrypt the new passwords in the Identity Store and wait for 1 or 2 months till everyone had to change their password (if you use this policy).

Transaction type to dispose the asset only for the depn areas 01 and 02

One of the Company codes XXXX plant XXXX has an isuue for asset # XXXXXXXXXX-0 this asset was partially retired in Nov.2008 and now its acquisition value is JPY312,428
which should not be an asset under US GAAP but qualify for asset under Tax book . So it needs be removed from US and JCC book(01 and 02 area) but keep the record on the Tax book(area 15).
Is there any transaction type to dispose this asset only for the 01 and 02 area but keep the historical data for 15 area?

Can I suggest you a way to handle this? Just give a try and see whether it works for you or not.
Post a Credit entry to the Asset only to the area 01 and 02. Please follow the below steps before you do this.
1. Go to main SAP screen => System => User profile => Own data => Parameters
Add parameter ID FAA_FB01_AREA_SWITCH (Turn On Value Entry at Area Level for FB01) and mark "x" against it in Parameter value. Save this changes.
2. Go to F-02, Enter the Asset number (posting key 75 and transaction type 105, which ever you feel like) and then in the next screen, enter the amount. Here in this screen, you will find a tab named area values. Click that tab and change the values Area 01 & 02 to $0.01 and leave the Area 15 as it is. Enter the appropriate dr line item and save the document.
3.Go to AW01N and see tha values against each of the areas.

I got the message while creating PO AND WHEN I try to enter Tax code and Tax Jurisdiction i am getting the following error message :

Diagnosis
No posting rules have been defined for the account key in the tax table in table T007B.
Procedure
Change the tax table, enter an account key already defined for the transaction in question or define the posting rules for a new account key in table T007B.

Based on your explanation I can understand that the Configuration settings for Automatic Account Determination is not done perfectly for the Account Ket vs GL Account. Do cneck this process carefully because here we define the posting rule, posting keys for the determined account key and later assign the same to the GL Account.

If you are using standard content for 0PUR_C04, you can get the update rule in standard update rules, which you can see in Business content on Metadata repository. For standard content four data source used to fill cube. Purchasing Group (2LIS_02_S011 ), Purchasing Data (2LIS_02_HDR), Pur.Data (2LIS_02_SCL) and Purchasing Data (2LIS_02_ITM). The mapping for different update rules are done as:

Field to make uneditable only for the current/selected row

I have a web dynpro application and I wanted to make some fields uneditable and for this I have done the following:
I bound a context attribute to the readOnly property of all the fields you want to control. Then in the onEnter event of the main field, I set the value of this bound context attribute to ABAP_TRUE to change the state of the corresponding UI elements.
I have written the following in the onenter event of the main field:
DATA lo_el_context TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
   DATA ls_context TYPE wd_this->element_context.
   DATA lv_editable TYPE wd_this->element_context-editable.
* get element via lead selection
   lo_el_context = wd_context->get_element( ).

* set single attribute

Now the issue is that when I hit enter on the main field all other fields gray out/uneditable for all the rows, what I want is the other fields should be greyed out only for the row where I am entering the main field and hit enter.

Hi Raj,
You are not getting it. When you have only one context attribute and bind that to all the rows/columns of the table then everything will be enabled or disabled.
In your case, create a local node with cardinality 1:1 inside the node you already have.
Write a supply a function for this node.
Add a attribute read_only of type wdy_boolean.
bind this attribute to the read_only property of the table columns.
in the supply function based on the element conditions you might have enable this attribute of disable.
supply function method already has the necessary code , you only need to enable the commented lines and put your if ..end if code around it.

I have one more requirement ,
MIRO should be allowed only for the accepted Qty (QC accepted qty) or Subcontract MIRO should be allowed only for the quantity accepted by QC
with QM control key in material master(QM view) we can block for payment,
but my query is MIRO should not be saved (message should come qty still lying in Quality inspection stock)
Please let me know the settings,

Yes it is possible to restrict Invoice passing in MIRO if the Stock is in Quality stock / Blocked stock. The concept is while doing MIRO, u can validate the criteria by clicking simulation tab. U can get the things in BADI (Business ad in function) with the BADI object name as "Invoice_update".
The working is when the material is in quality stock & If ur doing MIRO for the same material, then system will pop up the message that "material with "X" qty is in quality stock" Invoice cannot be made. System does'nt allow u to pass the Invoice unless the stock is cleared from the quality. Even for the blocked stock we can simulate these error pop message.

check MM pricing procedure for any condition account key is assigned and for that account key, no GL is configured in OBYC, if it is related to tax condition type OB40.

Do you get any error messages ? If you get a network timeout error when downloading the update then try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.
It's best to only update via your own computer, otherwise you risk losing all your iPad's contents - updating to iOS 5 wipes the iPad and then restores your backup. If you having problems downloading the update then you could try downloading the update file via a browser on another computer and then copying that file to your laptop for the actual update .

It not only allows Creative Cloud users to install their applications but also downloads and applies applicable updates. In addition it is also responsible for the licensing and managing your agreement to the terms and conditions of the EULA.
2. this could be due to you selecting a trial subscription to the Creative Cloud? If you go to one of the Adobe Creative products and select Help>Updates it will launch the update portion of the Adobe Application Manager which I believe is the portion you are looking for?
#3 I believe this was already mostly covered in the answer to #2.
#4 the Adobe Application Manager also receives periodic updates which affects both perpetual and Creative Cloud subscription users.
