Update SAP MMC as prerrequisite for EHP for ERP Installation

Hello experts,
I have operative system windows x64, AN ERP 6.0 with Netweaver 7.0
Following the ehpi installation guide to up the ERP to EHP5, i read this text in prerrequisites!
Meeting the Operating System-Specific Requirements Procedure: Windows
You need to install a new SAP MMC package (sapmmc<Platform>.msi) on all application servers. The package is available for download as SAPMMCMSI_<nr>.SAR file on SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/swdc  Download Support Packages and Patches Entry by Application Group Additional Components  SAP Kernel SAP KERNEL 64-BIT UNICODE  SAP KERNEL <rel> 64-BIT UNICODE  Windows Server on <Platform> 64bit#  Database independent.
, But, in that route I don´t find the file SAPMMCMSI_.SAR
I search in In all the marketplace and the only SSAPMM package that i find was this:

But as i say i have kernel 7.00 and this is for kernel 7.10...
THen the questions are:
1. How can i check my current release of sapmmc
and
2. How can i fulfill the requirement of update sapmmc to latest version? can I apply the 7.10 SAPMMCMSI?

No sap note, by in this sdn page, you can find the downward thing...

and additionally i see that after 7.10 the download name change and is no more SAPMMCMSI is sapmmc_7-20005871.msi

SAP MMC tree structure disapperas

Hi All,
Today don't know how my SAP MMC tree structure has disapperaed for my <SID> server.
I tried recreating the services by using sapstartsrv.exe but it is giving an error:
Cannot install service.
CreateService failled: 421
Account name is invalid or password is incorrect.
I reset the password of SAPService<IDS> but still it is giving the same error.
Can any one help me recreating the service so that my tree structure apperas and
I start my IDS server.

I had reset the password of SAPServiceIDS and <SID>adm. By <sid>adm I am able to login as well but the same is not working in case of SAPServiceIDS.
Even when I do services.msc I can't see SAPIDS_00 service. Hence in order to re-create this service I need to run sapstartsrv.exe.But when doing so it is not taking the password of "SAPServiceIDS" giving an error as password incorrect.
Is there some other way to reset the password. I did via Computer Manager>Users>SAPServiceIDS>All task>set password.
Any help would be greately appreciated.

I cant see any thing any SAP MMC for my XI server.
I checked the services SAPXID_00 and SAPXID_01, those sevices were not running. when i try to start the service I am getting error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the service with sapstartsrv.exe but no luck.
I have also check SAP Note 82751
when i checked the log sapstartsrv.log, I saw this error
MSETCLXIDEV\xidadm is starting SAP System at 2011/01/17 16:16:47
SAP HA Trace: FindClusterResource: OpenCluster failed: 1753 [sapwinha.cpp, line 212]
SAP HA Trace: SAP_HA_FindSAPInstance returns: SAP_HA_FAIL [sapwinha.cpp, line 907]
Error: 13, Open Logging-File "sapstart.log". EACCES*: Permission denied OR: The data is invalid.
Please help to resolve this issue.

Hi,
Is it that there is no entry in SAP MMC for the system? Can you try to manually add the System in SAP MMC and check?I or is it that the system is already added and there is no info in SAP MMC. It is possible that the MMC is not working properly. You can reinstall the SAP MMC or better install the latest one. If the SAP MMC is not the issue here then it is possible that tthere is a some permission issue involved here.Could you check the whether the user with which the services are being started have correct permissions or not.
I had an issue where my SAP MMC was installed in a windows system and my SAP system was in Linux(Redhat). And because of the firewall and a security feature called SElinux my SAP MMC was not showing any information.There was a similar issue where i had to upgrade the LM tools. You can download the latest Lifecycle management software from SMP.

Suppose I am using EP 7.0 , and within that server i want to upgrade only WD java server as suggeted by you so that i can use new functionallity of WD java, so is it possible that only WD java server/framework I can upgrade to 7.1 in EP 7.0, and rest other components of EP 7.0 remains same. Is this is possible ? if yes how ? any documents on this to upgrade particular component in 7.0 and keeping rest of the components of 7.0 unchanged ?
Do i have to apply any EHP for this, is that a mandatory step or without applying any EHP, Still i can upgrade any particular component of 7.0 to 7.1 ?
Ans - Yes we can only apply the most current patch for EP 7.0.
Most current patch for WebDynpro EP 7.00 version -> EPWDC22_0-10003557.SCA
We can deploy this component using SDM tool or JSPM tool. Details of document are :-

To answer your question, I believe then we need not upgrade the whole version to EHP1 (i.e. 7.01 versions).

A4H and HDB systems not starting in SAP MMC for BW on HANA trial

Hi,
I followed all the steps to create an account in AWS and activate a trial version of SAP BW 7.4 on HANA and SAP BO 4.1. The instance activated correctly in the SAP CAL with a green status. The instance was created in the region us-east-1c. I am currently in Australia.
But when I logon with the remote desktop, and go to the SAP MMC, I see that the A4H and HDB systems have not started and are not green. When I try to start them manually I get the error below. Please help. My SDN userid is P052405.

Updating new PID of thr process in SAP MMC

Hello,
There was an abrupt shutdown in process of rslgsend and igs*
I have manually restarted the process and it is working on SAP level,although as a new process is started
its PID is not updated in SAP MMC and hence it is displayed in grey status even though services are up and working fine
Can anybody suggest, how to update the process with its new PID in SAP MMC

Any other procedure to change the PID of the process associated to new PID. Because, process with old PID is expired and hence in SAP MMC it is displayed in stop mode
Also if possible can you please provide a doc. which explains how and where PID of process are registered in SAP MMC, so that alter some alterations, we are able to get new status of process

In addition, EarlyWatch indicates that the ST-A/PI is missing. Actually it exists but is not the current package. I believe by updating the stack, the ST-A/PI will also be updated. Is this correct?
Should I update the stack to 24? or just update the ST-A/PI?

Yes. Current support package for ST-A/PI is ST-A/PI 01M_CRM570.

SAP always suggest to be on current support package. But I always prefer to upgrade to n-1 strategy.

SAP's IBU for Higher Education offers a Ramp Up Knowledge Transfer Training for EHP 4 Student Lifecycle Management from March 16-18 in Walldorf, Germany. There are still open seats available. What exactly are you doing in the SAP Solution Manager - Maintenance Optimizer?
I assume that you are at least on SP 15 which is a prerequisite.
Currently a common error is a wrong maintained SMSY: Please check SAP note 1022072 for details.

I'm having the same issue. And Dreamweaver now crashes after just a few seconds.

My firefox beta 12 using Linux platform does not update to firefox RC1 via the "check for update" function. I know windows' beta version had this fixed, when would Linux get similar support ?

Current platform : Linux
Current firefox version : Firefox 4 beta 12
Issue : does not update to RC 1 using the check for update feature.
Background : previously downloaded beta 8 and then it automatically updated to beta 12 using update features but for RC1, it does not.
I know users under Windows platform had same problem but was resolved and they can now update via check for update feature.
Please implement for Linux users too.
