Update SDN Profile

Hi Community,
i keep having trouble updating my SDN user profile. Does anyone have the same problem?
Error
An error occurred while attempting to save your User information! Please try again later.
This is really a problem, as i can't update my email address, so i don't get any SDN emails anymore......

I just tried to change my phone number and it saved successfully,not facing any problem.

IOS 6.1.4 released for iPhone 5 Adds an Updated Audio Profile for Speakerphone

Apple has just released an Over the Air update for the iPhone 5. It seems to only provide an updated audio profile for the speaker phone. Nothing else listed in the change log.
I would assume that there will be an iTunes downloadable update available shortly.

It obviously is because you didnt understand. The iphone 4's last update to IOS 6.1.3 in some cases caused the phones speakers to not work (in which this happened to mine and a few people I know) which some people got rid of their phones. HENCE the AUDIO UPDATE that they recently posted but only iPhone 5 can download the update. That is my problem. I have alot of apple products diesel vdub and have had apple for a long time but I can't seem to understand why they would do this and I posted this in hopes to find more people that have had this issue and if they did anything to help fix it this issue. Thank you for your concern though.

Getting error while updating my profile

When I tried to update my profile as follows
1- log into otn.oracle.com.
2- Click on update your Oracle Web Account with your OPN pin
3- CLick on Register or update your Oracle Web Account, inserting your company 12 digit PIN.
4- Insert my company 12 digit pin # and click on Continue
I got the following error message.
We're sorry. There was a problem in processing your request.

Evidently, this is a scam. Did others receive the same request?

It's absoutely a scam, one which has been reported here a number of times. Do not respond to the email in anyway, just delete it.

I created a 2nd skype name to update my profile be...

When I moved I wanted to update my profile, could not remember my password so I had to create a second account, now skype reverted to the first account, what do I do now?
can't get to the second account.

It could be a 'caching' issue with the browser....so easy first check is to clear your browser cache then load Connect and the link again... Still not correct?
Then only thing I can suggest is you post the question to the Connect discussion group (as I don't know much at all about file management in Connect....)

Updating Lens Profiles Database

I am trying to do an automated photomerge with Photoshop CC on a mac but as soon as the photos are in the document the process of Updating Lens Profiles starts and it just doesn't progress more than 15%. Waited fo a few hours with no success. Help!

Are you running Photoshop as Administrator (right-click Run-As or a property of the shortcut) so that it has full access to the Lens Database folder(s)?

Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences in case something is haywire with them?

After resetting the preferences as described above it "just" took 4 minutes to update the database cache. After restarting, however, the cache apparently needed updating again.
There seems to be a preferences or settings file that can be deleted in order to force PS to create a new one. But where exactly can it be found and what is it called? (Win XP SP3)

Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out > Sign In with the current Apple ID
Settings > iCloud > (Scroll Down) Delete Account > Sign In with the current Apple ID

SUGGESTION: Update your profile with your Logic version!

A suggestion, especially to people new to the forum:
Update your profile to include which version of Logic you are running.
Doing this will increase the chances of getting your question answered quickly (i.e., the first response won't have to be "what version are you running?").
It will also help you get your question answered correctly! This is because there are small but significant differences in the feature set between 7.1.1 and 7.2.x. Therefore, knowing which version you're running will help you get an answer that's accurate to your particular version.

Updating Skills profile with approval WF

is there a standard SAP possibility to update Skill profile via ESS with an approval workflow to the direct manager? I saw that an employee can update his own Skills but it is not sent to the direct manager for approval. The direct manager is not even notified.

You can think of using the FNDLOAD utility to download the values from one instance and upload to other instance.

HR PA and Planning (PD profile) changes not updating auth profiles of users

PROBLEM:
We are on ERP version 6 since 2008. We started experiencing this problem December last year and now it is all over our system. As soon as employees are transferred or new appointments are made in HR on PA or if the PD profile is changed in planning the changes cannot be seen by the user in their auth profile. The user can literally not see the newly appointed employee on the org structure or even newly created org units and positions are not visible. When RE_RHAUTH00 is run on the user name the update indicates that the changes (new employee and new org unit) is linked.
The following updates run every night: RHPROFL0_DAILY_UPDATE and RHUATUPD_NEW. I have also run PFUD during the day to make sure all updates go through. We have also "played" with some profiles with PD profile changes but it is as if the profile remains completely static. We have looked for personnel lists and deleted them to no avail. Our Basis administrator has cleared the buffer for us and has run report RSUSR405 that did not do anything. We have searched through notes on Support packages and have just loaded and tested support pack 46 to 53. The only work around seems to be to delete the user and create a new user and then it seems to easily accept new changes.

Acrobat 9.1 update - Roaming Profiles still crashes

Sad news for those that have struggled.
The solution that works for me is a login script to create the folder "C\users\%username%\appdata\LocalLow"
You can quickly test it first by logging in as a roaming user, enable show hidden folders and just simply make the directory LocalLow inside your appdata folder. Dont log off, just launch Acrobat and if youre lucky..
Specificaly for me:
makedir C\users\%username%\appdata\LocalLow
pasted into notepad saved as startup.bat and added through a group policy object.
We use 2008 server and Vista SP1 workstation under mandatory roaming profiles.
Its a Microsoft problem, apparently:

I guess I am not the only one when it comes to crashed after update to Acrobat 9.1.0.
Major bug so far that i see is I cannot copy simple text from any PDF file after the update. It immediately crashed Acrobat with this:

I first noticed it when I tried to copy something from inside Firefox - my browser would just close and ask me to restart...
Repair didn't do any good, just a waste of about 30 minutes of my time. I had to fully uninstall and reinstall 9.0 to figure out what went wrong.
Everything works fine in 9.0 - Nothing works fine in 9.1. Strangely there were no problems in Reader 9.1...
People stay away from upgrading to 9.1!!!

I have followed all suggestions. Still can't fix the problem. After an update, my profile seems to be blocked.

My Toshiba laptop went through 45 updates, and now when I open Firefox (where ALL my bookmarks live) the program freezes after a few minutes. I get error messages about my profile, and errors about Firefox already running. I tried the suggestions above, but they don't seems to line up with my system. Windows8 is my OS. This query is on another laptop.
