Update sky go for windows 10 and for microsoft edge

Hi please use a different software for the video in sky go web since silverlight was discontinued and wont be avalible in microsoft edge i carnt even use silverlight now. please change to html 5 like netflix did. and resolve issue when microsoft keeps releasing updates to microsoft windows it keeps breaking silverlight on sky go. Sky go need to change since silverlight isent really updated any more causing security problems.

Edge is crap there are NO extensions or plugins for it... at all.. ZERO adblocking or even WMV and MOV video won't work... Tons Of web sites are not going to "work with it"... Microsoft Know this and have built in a "open web page in IE" button.... be cause they know this.. IE and FireFox are NOT going to be disabled...Any Web browser can be installed....This includes FIREFOX....which still supports silverlight... Windwos 10 is NOT forcing Metro. 3 clicks enables mobile to desktop mode....Edge is just replacing the IE in the "first thing "normal above average users do " Download Firefox" Do not worry your not getting W10 in july unless your a windows insider..... you may not even get it till october if the Driver app is still broken for your graphics card... Firefox will work fine with ALL silverlight sites from NowTV, Amazon, blinkbox, BTTV and so on and so on... Can run the new Silverlight 5.1 template and the old 5.0 template...

I just applied update:

and (KB2965414) but it failed to install.
After a reboot I could not login to the VMM and the service would not start

After I removed the update the VMM was able to start, no reboot required.
When I have time I will try to apply both updates again successfully and see if the issue still occurs.

The safest way to do this would be to copy your itunes library to an external drive. For the purposes of this excersize the new Laptop would be the external drive

Updated from xp to windows 7 and iTunes won't play music

I have recently updated my computer from windows XP to windows 7, and I backed everything up on a flashdrive. I reinstalled all of my documents from the flashdrive using Window's easy transfer. I then downloaded the new iTunes. After it was done transfering the songs and I went to play a song, it would not play. I then closed iTunes and re-opened it, when a sign pops up that reads "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." I don't understand what is going on because iTunes has every song I had from when I had windows XP but it won't play them. If you know how to fix this or what is going on I would greatly appreciate it.

If you mean computers that are authorised (iOS devices aren't authorised/deauthorised) then you can't see a list of which computers are authorised, you can only see how many : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
For devices/computers that are associated to your account you can see a list of them, and if it's been more than 90 days since a computer/device was associated remove the association, by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

Why is Lenovo not updating display drivers for Thinkpad Edge E535?

My display drivers are old almost 2 years now. It's not very professional from Lenovo to be so lazy about updating drivers. Someone asked this before, and guy from Lenovo said to him that current drivers are working OK so there is no need for updating them. Well, newer drivers are obviously working better, but Lenovo doesn't care enough I guess..

No, they are not. I can't update IE10's Microsoft security updates and can't upgrade IE10 to IE11 (and soon IE12) due to the old hybrid driver on my Thinkpad E520.

Is it true that current version of Mozilla Firefox including its updates can currently cause Windows 7 and/or Windows XP to crash?

I was advised in the first week of September 2013 by our IT contractor, that the current version of Mozilla FireFox (and its updates) is causing computers with Windows 7 to crash? (NB: specifically, we have Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1, 64bit). Is this still the case, and if not, do we need to upgrade to a newer version of Win7 (if one exists). Also, is there currently a problem with using Mozilla Firefox on a computer with Windows XP Home Edition, version 2002, service pack 3? NB: We have a server and our computers are on a network.
Thanks heaps, as would really like to change back to FireFox when possible.

That shouldn't be the case but most likely what I can think of is the graphics driver conflicting with Firefox. We can troubleshoot this issue if you'd like to.

We upgraded one laptop at home and I wasn't very surprised to find out that the backup / imaging program we were using on Windows 7 (Backup Exec System Recovery) stopped working. It's a nice program that I've been using for years - creates a base image then incrementals on a schedule. Allows for simple full bare metal recovery or for file recovery by mounting an image inside the program.
Have any of you tested anything similar in Windows 10?

iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server

Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
