    Well to anyone listening.  Thanks adp1983.  I'm not really interested in buying a new copy. I haven't even owned this suite for 2 years.
    So I poked around some, went back and made sure I updated to 9.3 for all three.  Then I tried reinstalling, made the changes to the language like some have suggested. I logged into the guest account to try to run it and THAT WORKED.
    But when I came back to my account, the only way I can make any of the apps run is by:
    Open Applications in Finder.
    Find App.
    Right click on the app. Open Package Contents. Go to the Mac OS folder, find the app (black squre)
    Right click on the app. Open wth Terminal. It runs it and opens it just fine.
    I can create and save documents in any of the three new apps. I can save the docs and open the apps through the documents.
    BUT I CANNOT LAUNCH THE APPS FROM THEIR ICONS.
    WEIRD

    When I click on the Firefox icon, nothing shows up but it apparently is running in the background. I used Firefox yesterday and have not changed anything on my desktop, running XP, since then. This all happened with the automatic update

    It is not always necessary to create a new profile.<br />
    Easiest is to use: Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Open Containing folder
    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

    If it happens after an update then a possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    Try This - Renew IP Address:
        •    Launch Settings app

        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

    I am having the same problem.  I even changed my password and updated all of my security information.  Now it just gives me an error and retry message, which of course also does not work.  Went to support and was going to open a chat (seemed the simpler option) and received a message that my support has expired for this serial number unless I want to pay $29.00.  So I chose the option to call later, which was the exact time suck I was trying to avoid.  Why wouldn't the new operating system also update the apps that were already part of my old platform?

    If your iPhone wont power on, I recommend going through these steps first:

    Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
    Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
    Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
    After at least 30 minutes, if:
    The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

    Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

    Hi,
    USB recovery disk was used to recover your system when it encounter problem. You can try to use it to fix your problem instead reinstall system. However, there is no method to keep your program whenreinstall system.
