Hello, I have an iPhone 4 on ios 6.1.2 and I wanted to make him an update on the new ios 7.0.4, I tried to do for setting> general> update, and I 'iphone snaps sought and found nothing
then I tried to do the update via itunes and ca me out error 3004 while my itunes and my parfeux latest version and deactivated

Updater Software Problem

After installing the updater software and iTunes 5.0.1 I am in a position were my iPod is not being recognised by my PC, firewire or USB connection. When I try to start my iPod the Apple logo shows and then the connector icon and an arrow appear indicating connect to PC. There seems to be a few threads on this matter, is this an Apple fault?

Up unitl yesterday all was fine, it has worked for a year. Then I install the latest iTunes and update software and I'm in this position. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software with but still the same problem.

Everytime I try to update my iPhone software to the iOS 5 version it gives me an error message at the end of my download that say my connection has timed out and the software couldn't be downloaded at that time. If anyone has a solution to this problem please help me.

How can I update software on iPhone 3g from ios 3.1.3 to ios 4?

Recently been given an iPhone 3g. I had to restore the phone to sync to my iTunes. Now a lot of apps will not download as I need at least iOS 4 but the phone is iOS 3. iTunes tells me that this is the latest software for this model when I check for updates. Is there anyway to update to iOS 4?

The iPhone in question, iPhone 3g is running software version ios 3.1.3, my current iTunes is running 10.6.3. How can I update the software on said iPhone to iOS 4 from 3.1.3 if iTunes informs me that the current software is up to date.
The iPhone has pretty much been rendered useless as I can not download majority of apps. Therefore it just works as a pretty basic phone.

Sim card not supported after updating software on iphone

so i was downloading the new software and it appeared to be working and it all of a sudden said "the sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported" ..it has the same telus sim card in it that it did before which is the one that came with it from telus ..any one know how to fix this or what it is all about? my phone wont work at all now and the only option on itunes for my iphone is eject..

It was probably hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. Updating iOS in that case, can brick the phone.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with device errors. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice for the issue you are experiencing:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Symptoms
Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch may occasionally stop responding to buttons, switches, or touchscreen input and may exhibit one or more of these symptoms:
Does not return to the Home screen after you press the Home button
Does not wake from sleep after you press the Sleep/Wake button
Does not turn on (or power on) when you press any button
Does not start up past Apple logo
Appears frozen or unresponsive
Is unable to "Slide to Unlock" or "Slide to Power Off"
Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

FRUSTRATED...Unable to update software on iPhone 3G

I have the iPhone 3G with software version 4.2.1 and have been trying to update phone to the most recent version. I've followed instructions on the site by erasing date and restoring phone. What else is needed to load the current software version?

4.2.1 is the end of the line for the iPhone 3G. You can not update it to anything higher.
