Update some of the content of a page

I want to to allow a colleague to update some of the content
of a page without giving them access to change the whole page.
How can I do this without using Contribute?

I would love to know how to consolidate all my music and be able to play it without one device saying they are unavailable yet another device says they are?

I need to restrict printing but keep the Content Type and Page Extraction allowed. How do I keep both the content type and page extraction displaying allowed?

When I change the settings to allow for the content type and page extraction and save it, it shows allowed. When I close the pdf, reopen it, review the security properties, it shows the content type as allowed and the page extraction as disallowed. I need both to stay at allowed, how do make this happen?

The moment that you select not to allow any kind of change done to the file then pages extraction is automatically not allowed as well. There's no way around that.

Captivate 7 App packager Browser does not support some of the content message

I have succesfully creating a training app using the app packager for IOS (and to a certain extent android), however when you start the app a message starts up saying :"This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view. Use IE 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later etc. " The interesting thing is that I am using the latest versions of both safari and chrome?
I checked out the javascript and and althouth there is an "if then" test, clearly it is not testing correctly. Has someone got a fix for this e.g. modifications to the code to make it work?

I' am developing a web monitoring console. Therefore I must be able to refresh the content of a page(table) and requery the underlying sql. Must I use a timer or are the other methods and alternatives.

I am creating a project in Java Studio Creator 2. It starts out with a login screen and depending on the user rights, it lists(in a listbox) the possible pages the user has access to. From here the user selects the page they want to go to and takes them there. Now the problem that I am having is that this final page they are taken too needs to be refreshed every 5 seconds.
I tried to add <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5"/> in my <ui:head, but it just returned an error. After a little tweaking, I came up with <ui:meta httpEquiv="refresh" content="5"/>.
The problem that I'm now having is that the page will wait 5 sec, and then reloads the previous page with the listbox. What am I doing wrong?
The JSP head code that I have is as follows:

Now another question that I have, is how can I get a different page to start refreshing every 5 seconds after pressing a button and have it stop after pressing a second button.

There is no convert Table to text capability in Pages v5.2.2, as there was in Pages ’09 v4.3.
You can keep the table while making the table grid vanish, leaving the existing tabular text structure. Select the table, and under the Format panel > Table tab, the following settings will produce this output. If selected, you can refine its document placement in the Arrange tab.

Did the message say what was corrupt. It is not clear from your description of "...it was corrupt" what "it" is. Sounds like the download of Lion was corrupt. Download it again. Downloaded files sometimes get corrupted due to network connection glitches or interruptions.

Why can I see the contents of a pages file in the thumbnail but it is blank when I open it? I am using a MacBook running MacOSX 10.7.3 and Pages 4.1 (09)

My daughter has a MacBook with locked software provided by her school. All week she has been working on her homework in Pages but today when she goes to open the files they are all blank, although the thumbnails show the content and the bottom of the screen shows the number of

That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

Disabling the content of a page before all loaded

I would be very glad if somebody can help me about disabling(may be not disabling but preventing to be functioning) the web pages links, comboboxes before all the content has been loaded or a hyperlink has been clicked.

The code snippet below gives you a crude way of handling this issue. Initially disabling all the form fields and after loding the page you can enable them.

Create print.css that repeats the content twice on page when printed

Clear as mud, right? I have a form that the user can fill in and then print to bring to the office. They need two copies. It fits on half of the page and could be printed twice on one page and then torn in half in the office. This would save the user paper.
I have a @media print css that removes everything from the page except the content div and it works fine. Is there a way to repeat that div twice on the page via the css?
Here's the css code:

I have never tried to do anything like that in Dreamweaver - this is more a printer management thing. Can you not set the printer up to tile the page so it displays 2 copies on each page?
Having said that, the only workaround I can think of (someone else might have another idea) is to duplicate your content div in the HTML and position it under your first, then {display:none} the 2nd div in screen.css and turn it on with the print.css.
Edit:// Having read a little closer, this would only work with static content. The fact you are using a form would be more difficult as you would need to populate both divs with their content.

I have a need to readily detect that the content of a particular page is a JPEG image.......
Is there a way to ascertain this as I am processing each page ?

Why is the content of my page disappearing?

i have created an album page with about 20 albums.
while working on the different image pages, i went back to the album page, which suddenly turned completely blank. publishing is impossible, it shows an unknown error. restarting iweb doesn't help.
the page is corrupt.
i then created a new album (mother) page and tried to link the different albums to this new one.
what happened now is even more disastrous: the image pages turn blank too!
all the information of my pages seem to disappear slowly...
what is this and is there a possibility to recover my old site?

...you need to search for iWeb's ".sites2" file. When you find it, double-clicking its icon should open up the site in iWeb.
