Update stuck on continue

Ever since todays update my apple tv is stuck on the 'what's new' page and won't let me 'continue'. The menus seem to operate in the background though and I can hear shows playing, unplug/replug just goes back to that screen. After some time it will time out and function. til i try to play a video from my library then it reboots and goes back to 'continue' - anyone else get this?

Same issue here. Stuck on what's new. Remote app is working. Can even start "stuff" in background with no visual (obviously) after several minutes Apple TV moves on to menu screen.
For the **** of it I used menu to re-start. Right back to "what's new." Again after several minutes moves on and seems to work.
We'll see tomorrow when I get to go through the process again and again and again every time I start it up.

You are on the 3.6 release and Firefox 7.0.1 is out. You can download and install the latest release from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ if you would like to update now. The 3.6 version will be maintained for a while longer, but you should update when you can.

Be patient. Apple just released IOS 6.1 and their servers are inundated with downloads. The network link between you and Apple may also have some undisclosed throughput or latency issues.
I just updated to IOS 6.1 and it took much longer than I expected.

I ended up having to force quit by holding down the power button after waiting 4 hours to see if it would resolve itself an load.
Wouldn't boot up properly, seemed to be stuck on the new apple logo with loading bar below so forced quit again and tried to restore form a time machine back up by holding cmd+R on restart. It said it was unable to do this so restarted again and it eventually started as normal and I was running 10.10.3 although I wasn't sure if the install was done correctly so did complete a restore from a time machine back up.
I think I will wait for another .1 update or just try again at a later date maybe.

All of these suggestions have worked for other users in the past, try them in order and maybe one will work for you.
"Waiting apps"
1. Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
2. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
3. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first.
4. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
5. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. Apps may also be able to be deleted in Settings>General>Usage>Storage if you cannot get the X to pop up on the icon.
6. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
7. If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

CC update stuck at 2%

Hi,
my CC update stuck at 2%. The message in German: "Verbindung mit dem Server wird hergestellt..." -> Connection with the server will be established.
I already deleted the opm.db, but it didn't fix my problem.

Software Update stuck: "Moving files into place"

Software Update stuck. In OS C Lion (10.7.4) I ran Software Update on 25-Jul-2012 (The day when OS X Mountain Lion was released). Software Update had 5 updates, such as Safari 6.0, Remote Desktop, iPhoto (?). Software update gets about 95% done, based on the progress bar. Then it hangs... for hours. I finally had to force-Quit Software Update. Rebooted. Tried again. Same problem. Rebooted and rest the PRAM (command-option-P-R) at start-up. Ran Software Update and had the same problem. Software Update hangs while "Moving files into place." Has anyone else seen this problem and know how to get it to work?

I discovered that if I selected only one update at a time to install, all but one installed (i.e., Remote Desktop, Safari 6, and iWork update). The one update that did not install was the iPhoto update. I had left the install to run overnight (about 7 hours). Console log for /var/log/install.log when installing iPhoto update follows:
