Getting dump error in Sales order creation mode while going to item texts

Hi,
I'm getting an ABAP dump error while going to item text tab in the creation mode of a sales order. This issue is happening only when we make a manual entry in the item text field for a particular text type Y011 in the preceding document of the sales order. Otherwise everything is working fine.
When I checked the settings in SPRO under SD - Text Control - Sales Doc - Item, the definition and assignment for the TEXT type Y011 is maintained correctly. Not sure why the issue is happening only with this text type.

We had tried this already. However, since the error is with standard program with many function modules. They are finding it difficult.
There is strange side also for this error that I missed to update. When I replace the Text Id Y011 with a new one it is taking me to the line item text tab with out any error even though I'm using the same access sequence and other settings. However, after saving the order and displaying the order number, immediately it is going to dump again.

Vendor Confirmation on a PO in creation mode.

Hi ,
We have a requirement in our project such that we need to put the vendor confirmation on a PO in the creation mode of PO ( ME21N / ME59 ).
Is it possible in standard SAP ?
As per my analysis , the Confirmation can come on a PO only after it has been created.
Please advise if this is possible.
Also which Exit should be used to create the confirmation on PO.( such that the respective account assigned sales order is also updated after the confirmation on PO ).

resolved issue myself

Firefox will not open even after update or in safe mode using windows button + R

Tried solitions given on site using IE. Firefox will not start at all, did latest update and tried safe mode start.
Only get box stating it has encounterd a problem and crashed. I only use firefox and have so many bookmarks I really don't want to uninstall and start over.

No RETURNCODE 0 allowed in update routines in transfer mode

Hi,
After Applying a RETURNCODE = 4 to one characteristic in my update routine i get the following message:
No RETURNCODE <> 0 allowed in update routines in transfer mode
Message no. RSAU492
It seems that i doesn't allow me to modify a certain characteristic in my target ODS.
Any suggestions?

Various errors occur when you load reporting point data from CRM with the DataSource 0CRM_UT_POD_ATTR and update the data in BW:
1. Insufficient data is delivered, and all fields are empty except for the external reporting point name (EXT_UI_BW).
2. The restriction according to the external reporting point name (EXT_UI_BW) in the BW scheduler has no effect.
3. The update in BW to the InfoObject 0UCCRMPOD terminates with the error message RSAU-492 (Return code <> 0 is invalid in overwrite MODE in update routines).

Text Object Save Mode

Im exploring the text object in SAP tcode SE75 i would like to know what are the meanings of the save mode types where there is dialog/update/not in text file. Also what are meaning of the Interfaces in the text object? Your answers are appreciated.

The save mode of a text module (dialog, update) is defined via the table TTXOB with the text object. In certain cases it makes sense to save the text immediately (for example, in batch programs) instead of in the update task.

Services for Object in creation mode

Hi colleagues,
I am facing one problem and I would appreciate your help and ideas. I want to enable user to use a functionality of "Services for object" in creation mode (in my case transaction IW31). In change or display mode this functionality is enabled, so creating new BOR object and such things are not necessary.
I understand that services for object are disabled by default in creation mode, because it is not meaningful to assign some documents to object which does not yet exist. But in theoretical way, it should be possible to implement some "tricky" solution. Probably some temporary object could be created at the start of IW31 and attachments could be assigned to this object. And in some user exit executed during processing of save statement (after all checks and such things), attachments could be re-assigned to a real (persistent) object. For unsaved orders it would be necessary to delete temporary object and also attached documents.
Have someone implemented something similar? Or any helpful ideas?

iBA should be approached like this:
layout in landscape
edit in portrait
- - check in both on your device
Use the 'disable portrait orientation' option (Inspector/Document) for layouts you just don't see working in any manner but landscape.

Keyboard freeze when texting in landscape mode

I'm finding that my keyboard may freeze when texting in landscape mode. If I turn the phone upright, I can resume texting. If I type a few words and return to landscape mode, everything seems to work fine. This does not happen all of the time when texting in landscape mode...only on occasion. I have not had any other issues using the landscape keyboard in another application. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions? Using the iPhone 6 with iOS 8.

Yep this is an ios8 issue. Never had it with ios7 or previous.
This his is the most buggy iOS to date.
Come on, Apple. Fix this.

Problem with Update Text fields in Infoset

Hi experts,
Here i would like to rephrase the question. Normaly while working with Infosets, when press "update text fields" button, those fields having text is updated. But one of my field is not updated. I need some help from you for that.
One more question i've that my field is having check table so i would like to know how exactly the text field is updated.
scenario.
Customized IT9320 has field prt_pos added. This field is having check table T528B. But i want text field to be attached is IT1000-STEXT.
How this can be done, because i suspect that just using check table field IT1000-STEXT is not attached to IT9320-prt_pos.
Please help. I'm really got stuck here.

Hi,
I'm working on customised Infotype. I need to add one new customised field ie Present Position. This field has number as well as text associated with it. There is a check table attached with this field so that text can be displayed alongwith number.
I need this field in SAP/Adhoc query. But when i go to SQ02 this fields shows only value. Text is disabled for this field. I'm not sure why is it so.
I looked into other infotype which as one field using same data element, and that field shows both value as well as text. Please help me to rectify this issue for present position field.

You would be much better off with one multi-line form field.
There are many problems with trying to determine when one is at the end of the display field with text entry.

Sound Blaster PCI Express - No option for AUDIO CREATION mode.

I need help. ?I purchased another computer from Dell, with a Sound Blaster board just as I have done with three other computers. ?This makes four.
I ordered it with the Sound Blaster board because of the THREE MODES, Entertainment Mode, Gaming Mode, and Audio Creation Mode. ?The Audio Creation mode is really what I want because it allows to add reverb.
So when I get this latest Dell with the Sound Blaster card it is a
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express
The Volume control does not show the three modes. GAMING, ENTERTAINMENT, and AUDIO Creation. ?It only shows the ENTERTAINMENT mode.
So I thought perhaps those were enhancements that had to be installed from the Creative Sound Blaster CD that Dell provides. ?I put the CD in the dri've, and it goes into install mode and then when you start the install it says do you want to add additional software to which I answer YES.
Then it says install your CD in the CD dri've, which of course it is already in there. ?The CD looks funky. ?No scratches, it is new, but it has an uncharacteristic distortion on the data side so it is probably bad.
I download the drivers off the Creative site and it says, you have a newer version already installed on your computer.
I have called Dell 5 times over the course of 2.5 hours being disconnected all 5 times after speaking to people with extremely thick accents that know as much about computers as I know about brain surgery.
BOTTOM LINE
1.Does the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express have the ability to support the three modes: ?Entertainment, Gaming, and AUDIO CREATION.
If so, how do I get it to workHow do I get a new CD
2. If this card does not support the three modes, what card doesThe Sound Blaster cards in my other three Dells all support these three modes.

No the Xtreme Audio doesn't not support the three modes, it only has Entertainment mode. Any X-Fi card that is not a Xtreme Audio does support the three modes.

INFO UPDATE in the purchase order ( ME21N)

Why the field INFO UPDATE in the purchase order ( ME21N) is not flaged when I create a purchase order?
I create a PO, and I flag it in ME21N, but it cancel it? WHY
I have already tried it in spro Default values for purchasing, and all seem good!!
Anybody could tell how can I tick this field?

Info update indictor can be set by defualt if you maintain the same in the Purchase inforecord,
If no inforecord exists then this would not be flagged and if you flag it then the Purchase inforecord gets created with the update of with or wothout plant based on the default value assigned to the buyers.
