Update to 10 won't take 9 Registration Number

Upgrading from 9 to 10 .. (win 7) ... says I have an invalid registration number ... but this is the number I get from My Adobe, exactly. I've tried it with and without the dashes. How can this be resolved?

Aperture won't take serial number after transfer to new computer

I used the Migration Assistant to move from an old computer to a new one. Now Aperture asks for a serial number and it won't take the one I have. It's the orginal number that came with the software.

Pro Apps like Aperture don;' take to being installed that way. You'd be best to re-install it from the media you received it on (I'm assuming you didn't get it from the App Store as you mentioned a serial number).
If you don;' have the original media you can download the trial version and use the serial number you have to authorize it.

Autosave vault won't take serial number

FCP 7 is second language to me after Avid. Trying to access a backup of a project. On opening, I get a box asking for name and serial number. Put it in, I get a message saying that the number is invalid, and then a crash message that Final Cut Express HD has crashed. But it's an FCP7 project, trying to get it open in FCP7. I notice all the project files are labeled Final Cut Express Files. I have deleted every Final Cut Express file and app I can find. Help.

If you open fcp first and "open" the autosave file from the file menu does that work?

You might also make sure that the application associated with the project is correct.
from the finder, select one project file in the autosave vault and hit command-i. Make siure "open with" is set to Final Cut Pro. if it isn't, change it and "change all." You might want to back up the files before you do this.

Acrobat pro won't take serial number

Bought a new computer. Technical service moved my programs over to new computer. Now Acrobat 9 Pro says my serial number is invalid.
I entered the serial number which is on my account at adobe and it tells me it's not good.
Anyone know how to fix this?

As your Acrobat is not accepting the serial number , I would recommend you to refer the following documents once and see if that fixes the issue for you .

Repair won't take serial number

Hi All,
Magic mouse won't scroll so I called apple today and they told me what to do to get it repaired. So I go to apple/support and find the repair link go to the next page to put in serial # but it say's serial doesn,t match and I know it's right reading right off the mouse. Has anyone had this problem?

Someone recently noted a problem staying logged on the Huffington Post since it became connected with AOL. The workaround for that is to change your connection setting here:

Click the "Settings" button and choose either "No Proxy" or "Use System Settings" option, and OK the change.
Not sure whether Washington Post could be affected by that same setting.
In reviewing your extensions, I'm puzzled that you have both DoNotTrackMe and SavvyConnect. The first one seems to aggressively block certain communications with websites (potentially affecting functionality) while the second one seems to report on your browsing habits (they better pay well is all I can say). Have you tried disabling both of those to see whether that has any effect?

Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....

If the code you are trying to enter has letters then you are not looking at a serial number. A serial number only contains numbers - 6 sets of 4 numbers.
Find your serial number quickly
You might be dealing with a redemption code. This is especially so if you purchased it from a store or the like.

Which API to update supplier site VAT registration number?

I am using the AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG.Create_Vendor_SITE API call to populate the VAT_REGISTRATION_NUM field, whcih then appears as the "Default Reporting Registration Number" under the Tax Details page of the supplier screens.
Unfortunately the call to AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG.Update_Vendor_Site does not seem to update the value in this field even though I am passing a new VAT_REGISTRATION_NUM value into the API. Does anybody know of any other API I could use to update this field?

Cloud products don't use serial numbers. That includes downloading CS6 through the Cloud (if that is what you're doing). Hence Ned's query.

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?
Is this a reinstall or a first time install of the program? If a reinstall, you can go to the Adobe web site, sign in, type "My Products" in the
search field, and follow the "My Products" to a list of products that Adobe has registered for you. When you get to that list, click on the name of your product to
bring up the serial number. Does it agree with the one that you are trying to use?

Won't take my Serial Number...

I just bought the Family pack of iWork '08, but when I input my Serial number it won't take it. I enter it and then it closes Pages (or Keynote or Numbers).
It's a 23 character string with dashes. I've tried with and without hyphens and with and without capital letters with no luck.
Any ideas?

I just got my MacBook and had the same problem. I hope your fix is as easy as mine! Although software is preloaded, the disc has to be in the drive in order for the computer to confirm that the serial number that you are entering is correct! I think I had to use the hyphens when entering numbers as well... good luck!

Are you the original installation media, mak sure you are using the correct setup file for photoshop elements 10.
On the titile bar of installation window you can check the product name and version.
If it is correct, I would suggest you to Adobe support and confirm it the serial number which you are using is for photoshop elements 10.
