Update to Iphone App for BTWifi - appears broken

Question

Have received an auromated update to the iPhone BtWifi app.
Where previously the app workded perfectly well for BtWifi connections it did NOT work for BtWifi with FON.
The new update does not now appear to work for either type of connection and stubbornly refuses to make connections.
I am running an iPhone 4GS with the very latest OS.
I have forced the phone to "forget" previous profiles for BtWifi and BtWifi with Fon - but app still cannot make connections.
Any one else got this new update and experiencing the same problem ?

Interestingly within a few hours the BTWifi app appeared once more on the update lists for this and another device.
It now works perfectly with all brands of BTWifi - which is what the user would have expected form the outset..
Furthermore whilst the app screen is open it will constantly refresh connections if you drop from one coverage zone and move to another - a very helpful enhancement
A very significant if inexplicable improvement.
