Update Toplink Classes when I adda new Column to the DB

Hi All,
I am sure this is another simple question for most of you but here we go.
I have a few classes that were generated for me by toplink and I am now in a situation where I need to add a column to my table.
Is there a way to have toplink update my classes or do I need to delete them and start again?
Also, this may be the same question, but I was sure that there was a way to add a new method to a previously generated toplink class using some sort of wizard?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, you answer gets me almost there and it's what I ended up doing after all.
Where I get stuck is on the Toplink Map. So I now have a new column in my database, add the new field to my class and I go to the Map right click the new field and say Map As "Direct to Field"
Now in the editor I need to map that column to a field but in the list of items the new column from the DB is not there?
Any clue?

I had same problem of adding felds from additional data into the ALV and when I asked SAP they told me to implement BADI HRHAP00_REPORTING.
I am still trying to get some info on how to implement it if you find any documentation of someone who has implemented appreciate you tell me.

My Windows XP software recently had an automatic update and now when I open iTunes, I receive the message "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
I have not used iTunes for several weeks so the issue may not be related to the last Windows XP automatic upgrade. I have never had problems with iTunes in the past. Is this a real message or perhaps a virus?
Before I reinstall iTunes, any thoughts?

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

Consider seeded VO is XXXVO and we added a new column to the XXX by extending XXCHRXXXVO(extended VO).and the we gone thru the full substitution process..
Now new requirement came as add a new column to extended VO - XXCHRXXXVO.Can you please tell in this example scenario? It will be good if you provide the inputs...

Need to add 2 new columns to the existing table control of C223 transaction

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I have to do a screen enhancement for transaction C223.
Below is the requirement:
need to add 2 new columns to the existing table control of C223 transaction.
there is no customer exits, screen exit or user exit present for this transaction C223, i have found one enhancement spot for this transaction.
i dont have any idea how to do this in standard transaction C223, the table control in C223 saves the data to MKAL table and the table control uses the structure MKAL_EXPAND in the screen program.
i have created an append structure for the 2 fields to the standard table MKAL.
Can anyone please suggest me how this can be done in standard screen C223, will the enhancement spot can be used to do this....

the BADI definition present here is a SAP internal so we cant implement the BADI , but we can created a enhancement spot implementation for this. as per my understanding on this the enhancement spot is only for making the table control fields display / change . i dont think this can be used to add two new coloumns to C223 table control.
I am not sure thats why seeking your help/valuable sugestion on this.
Please provide your sugestion on this , so that i can come to conclusion on this issue.

Is it possible to ADD new Column in the form like Sale Quotation, Sales Order and ...

It is possible.
go to tools >UDF > Manage UDF >choose marketing documents rows.
select the row and say add to add a new column in the documents.
Note: this will be applied to all documents \
ie.quotation,order ,invoice, PO ,GRPO etc.
U can hide these columns in form settings.

When will a new version of the 7D be released? Or, will there be one?

I got my Canon 7D just after it came out. It has been out a very long time and now seems "behind" in features compared with some of the features of other recently released Canon EOS cameras. When will a new version of the 7D be released? Or, is this the end of the product cycle and there will be no more 7D cameras? I have been looking forward for a long time to getting a new version to replace my current one... in the past have gotten, right after release the 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D 7D - but they were always coming out about 18 months or so apart.

WOW, you have quite a collection!
I am more sure, than not sure, there will be a new version of the 7D out soon. The 7D is a wonderful camera and I can't imagine the "new" one will out do it by much in the photo taking category. It will probably have other great features, though.

StackOverflowError when creating a new column in jdev TopLink JSF

Hello everybody,
Please if you know, share your knowledge about the below aspect from JSF Toplink.
I created tables in db. Table is called DCF. In that table there are many columns, so many that by accident I forgot to put one. So I created Application in jdeveloper, then
1)     I created projects Datamodel and UserInterface
2)     In DataModel I created java objects from tables
3)     Then I created session bean PublicFacadeBean.java
4)     From that I created Data Control
5)     Than I created DCF.jspx page and dragged all the info from Data Control to the jspx page.
6)     Than I realized that I need one column which is not in DB, so I went to DB and created that column, and committed all the changes.
7)     I went to jdeveloper again, in the Application Navigator in the DataModel project under realopt.oracle package I double clicked the DCF.java and created instance variable that I need, added set and get methods manually.
8) then again i went to PublicFacadeBean.java and created again DataControl, I saw the column i need,
Made compilation and no errors were found. But when running the page in the explorer, I got error :
Fatal error: Cannot find class java/lang/StackOverflowError
Process exited with exit code -1.
I restarted the computer again, but still could not view the page. Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem?

you can't add a column to a system matrix using UIAPI - the only way is to add a userdefined field

How to update purchase order when creating a new condition records

Hi,
We have the system configured so that whenever we update a condition record, a change pointer is generated. Then we the use of standard reports RMEBEIN4 and RMEBEIN, all open purchase order having that condition type is updated. However this only works when we update existing condition record. When we create a new condition record, this does not work even though the change pointer is created. Do the reports mentionned above works for the this case or another standard report that should be trigger.

May be this is working for the conditions already existing in the info record for the PO's. so when you have new condition record it updates only after you amend the PO with that condition and save it.

Error 1430 when adding a new VI to the program

I have a program I developed in LV 2009 in 2009 and now I am updating it. I accidently opened it up in 2010 and saved it. There are Microsoft office tools that were built into LV 2009 that are removed in 2010 that I had used in my program. So I had to save as previous version (2009). After everything worked and I could run the code and compile I continued developing. At one point I tried to compile and got an Error.

I have now figured out that if I add a new VI to the program, it gives this error. If I remove the VI, it compiles with no errors. If I add a blank VI with no code, it gives the error. I have worked as far as I could without adding a VI but now i need a pop up window and need to the VI. The code is too large to fit the max 6MB requirements.

When you say compile, do you mean press the run button? When exactly does this error show up?
I suggest you try copying all of your VIs into a new project, and try running the new project. It sounds like your project may have been corrupted in the process of upgrading and re-saving to a previous version.

I want to add a new column to a table with a single value for all rows of this column. for example, add a new column called 'sid' with the value of 'dbp'. can I use this statement?
alter table ... add sid varchar(8) 'dbp';
or I have to add first then update?

Why is it that when looking through new apps in the apps store on my ipad in release date mode does it return to the first 1-12 after viewing pparticular apps?

why is it that when I look through the new apps in the apps store in release date mode it returns to the first page after veiwing more information about some apps, I could be ten to twenty pages in and have it happen.
Also, I only speak and read English and although there are probably great apps for people from other nations, I don't want to wade through all the apps that I can't make use of. I expect that people of other nationalities or languages don't want to have to wade through every app that they can't make use of, is there not a way that alI users could filter by language?
I mean no offence to anyone but with a collection of hundreds of thousands of apps in all languages and the jump back to the begining after possibly being into the list by a number of pages I stop looking after awhile and I'm sure I've missed some excellent apps by doing so.
