Update touches resource not listed in TargetResources

In our environment we have a bunch of unix resources where we do not manage accounts, but these resources are used for generating user reports only. These resources are linked to user in the IdM. These user have other resources associated where we manage accounts via IdM e.g. Active Directory. In the AD workflow we are using TargetResources in Checkout and checkin steps to reestrict actions on AD ONLY. However we see errors such as .action failed because feature 'account.DELETE' is disabled by resource app419_atl_ec_equifax_com</String> when we do an update on AD?
Why is IdM trying to update resources on resources not listed in TargetResources?

Can you confirm that TargetResources is set to a list of resource names?
Did it work in a different situation?

since updating to latest update touch screen has gone crazy with a box appearing around apps and cant move around by touching creen as before,plus i cant slide from screen to screen due to square box around apps.

Sounds like some Accessibility Settings were turned on.See this article for steps on how to turn them off.

Updated Touch software not can't update or download apps.

I updated the apple software as per iTunes to the 4.2. Now it will not let me download any apps or update any. I have restored to back-up, restored, done a hard start and it's still not working. Yesterday after I did a complete restore and lost all my apps I did a hard start and was able to download 2 apps then this morning it's back to not working. When I go to download or update it says waiting for the add and then it just disappears. Please help! I had no problems with this touch before I updated the software and I use it all the time.

How come Java 8 is not listed in my plug-in checks and updates?

I recently updated Java to Java 8, and when I clicked to do my plug-ins checks and updates, Java is not listed anywhere, whereas the old Java (Java 7 and Java deployment 7 update) were there and listed as needing an update. Is there a reason it isn't listed? Do I have to go to Java's site weekly to check for updates?

Firefox is a 32 bit application, so you need to install the 32 bit Java version.
Java 7U55 is still secure (i.e. no known security vulnerabilities), so if there aren't any issues with Java 7U51 then there is no need to update to Java 8 at this moment and you can wait til Java 8 becomes available via the automatic Java updater or via the java.com website.

Ipod Touch Stuck On iTunes Screen. The iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.

I got a new ipod touch for Christmas.
Today I was going to put music on it, i was told there was updates.
So I went ahead to do them.
My Ipod is stuck on the screen with the usb cord pointing to the itunes logo.
In Itunes i'm told :
Itunes has dected an ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes.
Turning the ipod off - the same screen appears when it's back on.
When I click restore ipod and after restore and update is clicked ; Extracting software loads up at the top.
When its done this is the message I get:
The iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.
I've been looking up trying to figure it out myself and have read making sure a setting in Lan Settings in Internet Properties has ; Automatically detect settings checked. I still get the same ipod message.
I've tried holding the power and home key to turn it off, then powering it back on. But that doesn't work.
I installed itunes today, so its up to date - I checked.
I don't know what else to do.
Can someone help me out, please? :}

OIA - Resource Type is not listed in list

Hi All,
Import of resources and resource metadata using files not supported in OIA. Using DML queries I have added Resource Metadata in OIA.
I can see the Resource Type created in OIA - Administration -> Resource Type ->
However If I try to schedule a import accounts job my resource type is not listed in the list.
Did anyone see this issue?

Word of caution: If you are intending to alter the database directy, you should also consider the rbacxservice.sequences table to ensure there's no conflict of PK's when you attempt to create new resources within the GUI.

My iPod Touch is not showing up on the source list. I have tried to restore the ipod, i have uninstalled, reinstalled, and used the repair option in the control panel to no avail. I am currently useing the latest version of Windows 8 on an Asus VivoBook. What can i do to fix the problem?

When I was updating my child's ipod touch with itunes....it put the ipod in recovery mode and said I would need to restore and then update....which was my only option to choose, so when I chose restore & update....after going thru it seemed the process, then a window came up that stated the ipod couldn't be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable and to try again. After trying this several times unsuccessfuly and going thru the steps on the help section, the ipod is still not able to restore & update, thus we can't access anything on our very new ipod touch and I am very frustrated, can't afford any Apple support tech time. If you still have the problem after retoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod then The iPod is likely defective and replacement is required. You can make an appoinment at the Genius Bar of an APple store or take it back to BestBuy if within warranty
