Update wipout all data from iphone 4

I just updated my iphone and it wiped out my phone.
Does anyone how how I can fix this.

Launch iTunes on your computer.
Connect your iPhone to the computer.
Your connected device will appear in iTunes.
Click on it to open the device’s summary page Click the Info tab.
Place a checkmark beside “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu.
Input your Google account and password, if you haven’t done so yet previously. Or, you can click Configure to change a previously set Google account.
Click Apply. iTunes will then sync the existing contacts from your iPhone to your Google account.
If you haven’t registered your Google account on your Xperia yet, add your Google account in Settings > Accounts.
Allow your Google account to sync your contacts to your Xperia phone.

I sold an iphone 4, one years ago, and i performing a restore from itunes and update it to IOS6 (after restore, obviously i not do the backup).
I just forgot to remove my ID from apple Facetime and iMessage, but I changed the password for my account (i think the new guy have insert the personal ID).
I see that iPhone 4 have encryption mode during/after the restore, i can feel sure that my all sensible data are erased from this phone?

Be aware it can take quite a while for it to restore.
If you need help restoring an iCloud backup
The restore process is taking a long time to finish.
The amount of time needed by the restore process depends on your geographical location and the speed of your Internet connection. Even with a fast Internet connection, the restore process might take 1 to 4 hours per gigabyte to complete
So if you have several gigabytes to restore, it may be an overnight process.
You might try backing up and restoring with a computer. See the section "Use iTunes" in this article:

Transfer ALL data from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4s

Hey guys,
My daughter recently got an iPhone 3GS, and wants to buy herself an iPhone 4S.
I know she plays a lot of games on her 3GS, like Clash Of Clans and things like that.
I was just wondering how to transfer all of those files onto her new phone. Would it be better to go through iCloud and backup there, or to connect to our computer and take a backup, then restore it from there?

I'm a proud owner of Iphone 3GS. Recently, My Computer has been crashed destroying all the Data in my Hard drive and therefore I have changed my PC Harddrive.
I have installed the new Itunes into my PC. But, I'm affraid that i will loose all the datas on my Iphone during Sync with Itunes.

Hi VJ and welcome to the Forums,
First, as you will log in with your Apple Store account in iTunes, although you have been syncing with a different computer, you can add/merge your contacts and photos. You can transfer as well your apps.
In regards to music files, you may use some third party software to recover them.
Don't forget to authorize with your account as the first step.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to backup my iPhone. I recommend the following article for troubleshooting backup issues with iTunes:

Am i right in thinking its simply backup old phone and unplug
then plug in new phone and restore ?

I have a iPhone 5 16 GB recently purchased, I need to transfer all data from the Black Berry Bold.
I need all contacts, documents, pics, E-Mail set-up etc. basically everything.
I need a seamless transition from one to the other. I have not even opened up the iPhone box yet.
Does anyone have a simple easy way to do this?
Only thing I have to work with is the iPad!
Was thinking of iCloud but have no Wi-Fi connection here.

If anyone is still struggling with this problem for the iphone 5 I just figured out how to fix it! it wasn’t easy because google sync doesn’t work on a blackberry anymore and outlook doesn’t help if you don’t got it so I had to go the long way and spend 2hrs of my time figuring it out while the actual solution only takes 5 mins!
So I downloaded an app called "Phone to Phone transfer" there’s other apps like this one but this is the only one that’s available on both blackberry and iOS so its the one I used and it worked, read: 3 steps to transfer all contacts from BlackBerry to iPhone 5
1) Download the app on your blackberry and sign-up for an account i used an email i barely use and its free so it was all quick and easy
2) Sync your contacts on your blackberry using the app
3) Download the same app this time on your iPhone and use the same log-in details as you used when you signed up on your blackberry
4) Sync contacts again and press download and... that’s it! all your contacts are now on your new iPhone.

In hindsight it is unfortunate that you did not go to Menu > Office > File mgr. > Memory card > Options > Backup phone memory (to memory card) prior to reset and after format of memory card!

First, iTunes will only sync non-purchased media one direction: from computer to phone. To copy non-purchased media from your phone to your computer (such as ripped CDs, etc.) you will need to purchase 3rd party software such asTouch Copy. Another Apple Itunes Update. Dutifully I applied it and found that Itunes afterwards had lost all information related to my Ipod device (it retained the information to my Iphone which uses a different music selection). Now Itunes wants to erase all data on my 2nd device so that I can use Itunes on it. I am getting quite tired of dealing with these Itune update problems, problems which I experience inspite of keeping my device and software backed up on each of my computers.
Is there any way to fix Itunes without wiping all data from my 2nd Itunes device?

If you have a computer with the current version of iTunes you can connect your iPhone 4s to your computer via the USB charging cable. You would then Sync / Backup your iPhone 4s to that computer via iTunes. After a successful backup is created you can then connect your iPhone 6 via the charging cable to the computer and iTunes and Restore that Backup to the new iPhone. You can always download any Apps you have purchased at no charge. If you don't have a computer / iTunes you can backup your iPhone 4s via WiFi and the Cloud. Then you can download that Backup to your New iPhone. This may be more difficult due to memory constraints on your iPhone.
