I am trying to transfer my itunes songs that were purchased using a previous apple id and windows pc ( I now have a macbook pro). When I try and download the itunes files, a message appears telling me that 7 songs purchased under the old apple id cannot be added to itunes on my macbook( the rest are added ok). I know the previous apple id, but have forgotten the password. When I try and retrieve the password using the security questions, I am asked for my birthdate. When I enter my birthdate, I am told this information is incorrect! Thats as far as i can go!
How can I update my apple id( and remove any old ones) if I can't retrieve the old password?

Using InDesign CC version 9.3 and can't open file made in CC 2014? What means this?

Just downloaded CC a week or two ago. It says it is version 9.3. I assumed this to be the newest version out there. However, I received an ID file and tried to open it and I get an error saying it was made in a newer version of ID. It gives me the option to convert the file, but what gives? Why would I not have the newest version?
My assumption was that the CC versions would be continuously updated as time went on. Is this not the case? Help!

@Shawn – you need at least OSX 10.7.5 to run InDesign CC 2014.2.
I have one MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.8 and InDesign CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5.
And another one with OSX 10.7.5 and InDesign CS6, CC and CC 2014.2 installed.
All versions running fine on the respective machines.

It sounds like you are trying to open a .jpg. Reader only opens PDF files.
If that isn't the case, more information would be helpful.

i have been trying for month to install windows 7 as a secondary boot to my mac

things that i have done
-i had downloaded win7 iso
-using another computer i installed win7 on the usb { win to flash }
-i have used bootcamp assistant but apparently i need a dvd of win7 which i currently don't have
-i have installed Reffit but i always get a flashing screen when try to load windows

is that apple disabled the efi on lion to not be able to boot from usb flash drive
my reasoning to this is that is used to work on leopard but not lion
again am trying to boot from usb not burn a disc

Rule #1 that TP missed: ISO have to be burned at SLOWEST 2X burn speed to work.
There is/was a long thread but booting Windows from USB-DVD or flash is hit or miss, it may work. USB-DVDs often do not but it is possible to edit the plist to add the Mac ID string to it.
Boot Camp Assistant -
create a partition (done)
download Windows Support Software (drivers to install after Windows is running) (done)
Start the install and boot process - not really needed or essential
And you can use Paragon, you can use Windows 7 or later DVD and do entire install (but on a dedicated 100% Windows hard drive).
Flash drive: has to be MBR and FAT or NTFS (I think, sounds right) same for putting Apple drivers on flash card for which there is an Apple Tech Article.

Hey guys. I've had my Ibookg4 around 5 years, never really had a problem with until today.
I installed Safari 4, and after installation it told me to restart, which I did. After it had restarted, I got to my desktop but I had lost my dock, and I can't open any of my applework files, (the application "AppleWorks" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "-<AppleWorks><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CarbonCore>").
Any solutions? Thanks.

Try running "Repair Permissions" from Disk Utilities.
Have you tried opening AppleWorks from the Applications folder?
If the Program opens from the Apps folder then try trashing the
com.apple.dock.plist located in /User/Library
