Updated and can no longer record video

I updated to iOS4 on my 3Gs and I can no longer record video, the option to switch to video is no longer there. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for the suggestion; unfortunately, such attempts are unsuccessful. In fact, I've been experiencing this bug for quite a while (as a developer), despite several restores. From my research, there are serious issues with iOS 4.0 and the iPhone Camera app. I've submitted a bug report for this. We'll see what comes of that.

I recently (sept 2013) installed itunes update and can no longer connect to a network nor internet wired /wireless. I know it is not the gateway as other devices work. Please help. I am not very knowledgable so exact instructions will be most helpful.

Try connecting your computer/laptop directly to the base station with an ethernet cable to one of the external ports and install your network settings. If it finds it there, it will find it after you've reloaded your network info to the base via the Apple Utility. Hopefully when you disconnect afterward, all will be fine. Be sure not to select "closed" network although Macs will login with no prolem, PC's have trouble doing so even with the network data stored in the internet settings.

Updated to ios5 and can no longer stream videos with apps. Solutions?

I updated my iPhone 4 to ios5 and can no longer stream avi files that I get as mail attachments. I have two video player apps (GoodPlayer and oPlayer) and I can't choose to open the attachments with either of them when I hold down the file name in mail. Before the update, avi files played perfectly well with oplayer and now, nothing... I'm a pretty basic user and just want something that works well. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you running the current versions of these apps - you have checked for app updates?
I use OPlayer which works fine with iOS 5. As an FYI, viewing an AVI attachment received via emal is not streaming.
Any problem with a 3rd party app you need to take up with the app developer.

I can no longer record video on my iPad since the upgrade!

I went to record something on video this morning, and tapped "video" on my screen, and it did nothing. Can't seem to activate the record video button since the last upgrade of 07!

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. HT5242 After downloading the update, I can no longer watch videos online. Has this been disabled? How exactly do I reenable it?

At a recommendation from my school, downloaded and updated my computer against the recent Flashback software. Now, one night later, I am unable to watch online videos, as the plugins are no longer working. How do I reenable plugins? I cannot see any obvious way to do this via Java Preferences, and the box under Safari Preferences for "enable java plugins" is already checked. What has changed, and what can I do? Please be specific. Thank you!

Just installed OS X updates and can no longer boot into Bootcamp

Just installed the latest updates for OS X Yosemite and now I can't boot to my Bootcamp partition. It doesn't show up in Startup Disks and it's not an option when booting while holding Option. The partition still shows up in Disk Utility but it no longer says BOOTCAMP, it now says disk04s. Is this fixable? I just wrote some data to that partition last night that I really don't want to lose and it hasn't yet been backed up. Thank you.

Upgraded my iPad to IOS 7 and can no longer play videos and podcasts

Can anyone offer any advice?

The videos are standard tv shows and movies from iTunes. In the older IOS when I opened the 'movie' icon all I saw were the videos that I had downloaded to my iPad. Now I get routed to something that looks like the 'purchased' section of the iTunes storeand it seems that I have to load every video from the cloud. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I would like to be able to watch video when I am NOT connected to wifi, like on a plane and such.

Installed firmware update, and can no longer connect to AE base station

I have an Airport Express base station and would like to connect to an existing wireless network.
I first attempted to change the AE base station to "client mode" in Admin Utility, but this option was grayed out.
I downloaded and successfully installed the latest version of the firmware, and I also did a factory restart. Now, Admin Utility recognizes the base station, but when I click "configure" and enter my password at the prompt, I get the following message:
"An error occurred while trying to access the base station. Make sure your network connection Is valid and try again. Error code -4"
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Merely clicking the Preview icon in the Dock doesn't cause it to open anything, unless you had one or more windows open the last time it quit.
If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, triple-click the line below to select it:

I can no longer get video to work on FireFox and this happened just after my update to version 13. Is there a way to fix this?

I went and downloaded FF13.0 and now I can no longer view video. At first I was able to view flash, mp4, etc video, then I went to see about updating Real Player and then every stopped working. I at first thought this was just a problem with FF13, but after trying also Internet Explorer I found the same problem. Is there any way pf fixing this problem?

Try a reset of the device by pressing and holding the home and power button for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

Apple changed MobileMe to iCloud and then restricted iCloud to 10.7 users only unfortunately
If your machine is a 64 bit processor Intel Mac you can upgrade to 10.7 for $29, however a lot of your 10.5/10.6/Rosetta based software could cease to function, especially third party hardware drivers for printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, scanners etc.

Also depending how old the machine is, if it can accept 4GB of RAM (preferred), older video card, may not run 10.7 very well or stable.
My advice is to keep at 10.6.8, get a web based email service that's plaform/hardware neutral, forward your iPhone emails there. Gmail/Yahoo Mail for instance.
When your ready for new hardware and all new software, then buy a new machine.
If your going to go to 10.7 on your present hardware, I advise you clone 10.6.8 to a external drive first, that way you can c boot off the 10.6 disk erase the drive completely (necessary to remove hidden Lion Recovery Partition) and option boot off the 10.6.8 clone and reverse clone.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.
