Updated and now it has lost all my history and bookmarks and won't open
I updated Firefox on 9/18/11. No problems until yesterday 9/22/11. I opened firefox and a window came up saying something like -oops, how embarrassing, we lost all your bookmarks and saved pages. That was bad but then it also wouldn't open anything after that and the rainbow wheel came up and the app did not respond further. I've tried: turning the computer off and on, deleting and re-installing firefox. I called AppleCare and they suggested I call you. I have a MacBook Air. Please help.
Thank you. I did just what you said and on my computer(sadly not an MacBook :( ) and I saw my things were still there. I "turned off" the iTouch and everything came back. But I did notice that every once in a while(it has happened 3 times within 15 days) my info(notes/contacts/calendar events/reminders/ and even access to my e-mail's junk folder) disappears randomly. Is there anything I should do to prevent it from doing that?

Can someone please shed some light on this???
I thought i was resetting my son's iphone 4 so that I could use it. But I seem to have erased his icloud/apple id and all of his data from his new phone too. His Apple ID doesnt work and cant be accessed as it now says it is disabled. I have tried the iforgot.apple.com website without success and have no idea how to rectify. Please help?That sounds confusing. First off, don't be too worried. There's practically no way to actually delete an Apple ID or it's purchase history. You should be able to get to it back somehow. Secondly, that's likely something that you'll need to talk to a real person on the phone for since it likely requires you to explain that you need access on behalf of your son, (who probably just set some security questions or an email address that you didn't know he put in.) Just call the appropriate AppleCare phone line (800-APL-CARE in the USA, or see the link below for other countries) and tell them you want to talk about an iCloud account security question.

Downloaded past themes and now I've lost all 7.0 themes! Help!!
I was going through my iDVD themes menu this morning and saw some past themes I thought I'd like to try instead of one of the newer 7.0 themes. I clicked on one to download it, and now I've lost all my 7.0 themes and all I have are the old themes! How do I get the 7.0 themes back!? Help!!!
Is it possible you may have moved the themes folder to a different location?

I tried to do the 7.0.4 update on my iphone 5 and now it has the itunes logo stuck on screen and when I plug into itunes it states my phone needs to be restored. I don't want to lose all my stuff.... ideas?

It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it. -

Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.

I just used a firewire connection to transfer files from a PowerBook G4 to a MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro has lost all that was on it, and all the applications are opening like they have never been used before and asking for Rosetta. How do I find all my files on the MacBook Pro, or undo what I have done???
IGNORE the last post: he thought you are using Lion or Mountain Lion.
Since you are using Snow Leopard, you need to install Rosetta. It can be found on your Snow Leopard Install DVD in the Options section.
Once installed all should be well again.
Also, if your computer is connected to the internet when the Dialog Box about PowerPC applications comes up, it MIGHT allow you to download Rosetta from the internet. There has been some discussion that Apple has discontined internet download of Rosetta into Snow Leopard.
Someone else will have to address your lost files problem.
