Updated apple id - already purchased apps not showing???

Had to change my apple id email to a current email - once that was done I had issues with purchases - tried to update on both iCloud and iTunes - both devices when updating still bring the old email up so I cannot continue. Any help with this snag would be greatly appreciated.

Because what it sounds like you did was create a new Apple ID. Apple does not transfer content from one ID to another. Apple does not merge IDs. Only the Apple ID used to buy content can update or redownload content.

If they were purchased using a different Apple ID than the one your phone is signed in to in Settings>iTunes & App Stores they won't appear until you sign into the other ID. They also won't appear if they are no longer available in the app store.

Purchased apps not showing

hello all.
so the last Apple product I owned was an iPhone 3G when it first came out. had that for a year and amassed quite a number of paid apps.
I recently purchased an iPhone 4S and started using my apple ID again. when I signed in to the App Store, I had to re-configure some settings as apparently things had changed since I last user the system.
anyway, All of the apps I had purchased are now gone from my history. either that or I don't know how to look around for them. it's just a little frustrating if everything I ever purchased is gone. and it's not like the apps don't exist anymore. I've found them on the App Store currently.
any idea how I may proceed? thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Open the App Store > Touch the Updates tab > Touch the Purchases option > Select the Not on this iPhone option and it should show you all the apps that are affiliated with your Apple ID.

Problem since iOS 6. Purchased apps list not showing or crashing on iOS devices.

Purchased section of the App Store does not show up, just crashes like the way apple is slowly crashing with all their mistakes over this past year.
Support has been a joke, just one mistake after another... For change can they actually fix something without breaking it or making it worse????

Purchased apps not showing up as 'purchased' on new ipad air

I just bought an Ipad Air 16 GB Wifi. I planned to restore backup from my earlier Ipad, but that was causing some problems, so I set up as a new Ipad with my original Apple Id that I use on all my Apple devices. Now the apps are not showing up as 'purchased' and it says that I have to buy them again. I don't know what to do. I've tried all reset options too. Kindly help me!

You need to contact Apple directly. This will get you started but I fully epect that they'll refer you elsewhere - 800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and I think Canada.

Purchased app not showing on ipad??

I purchased an app at the itunes store on my computer. I synced my ipad, but the app did not show up. It is in the "purchased" section of the app store, but the icloud symbol is shaded out and I cannot access it. Any ideas?

I would attempt to sign out and sign back in from the App Store, then try to redownload it.

Already purchased music not showing up in purchased tab

I preordered the rhcp album "I'm With You" and I downloaded it to my Macbook Pro the other night when it was available. Today, I tried downloading it from cloud when I wasn't near my computer but it didn't show up in the Purchased section. I got the music to my phone via my Macbook Pro but still the music is not showing up in my cloud. What is the issue here?

The Purchased Music folder isn't a smart playlist.
To find all your Purchased Music, forget about the list in the Shopping Cart and create a Smart Playlist whose sole criteria is:
Kind contains protected AAC
Tick the 'Live updating' box and click OK. That Smart Playlist will then show you all your purchased music, regardless of how you bought it.

I puchased Final Cut Pro and downloaded it. I am needing to download it on a second computer. Final Cut is not showing up under my "Purchased" items in my Itunes account. Why?

Are you using the same apple id? If so, make sure the other computer is AUTHORIZED.

HT1338 Some Purchased Apps not showing as installed

I have apps loaded on my MBP and some don't show as installed when I log in to App Store and check for updates.
Current Aperture version is 3.2 and when I apply an update is says i need 3.0 for the update. Aperture is one of the Apps showing as not installed.
Any suggestions?

I got a new laptop yesterday and all my music and movies transfered into itunes when I signed in, but my apps did not. They did not get removed off my iPhone. I can't load any new apps on my iPhone because when I go to the apps tab in iTunes, the only way to load it onto my phone is to check off apps and if I do that all my previous apps on my phone will get removed. How do I get my apps into iTunes without removing them from my phone and repurchasing them?

With iphone connected, click File>Transfer Purchases
This should transfer all apps from iphone to computer.

Purchased app not showing up on ipad

I purchased an app from the app store and it won't show up on my ipad. When I sync to itunes, the app shows up there. But it can't be found on my ipad, I've tried searching for it. I read that age restrictions can cause the app to vanish but I don't have restrictions enabled.

From the Home page, scroll to the second page. If you find it there, press and hold on the icon until it starts to wiggle. Then you can drag it back to the first page.
You can also check this in iTunes. Select the iPad under DEVICES at the left of the iTunes window. Then select Apps at the top of the window. You should see your App layout, including any apps on additional page(s).
While you are there, be sure the App has its Sync Apps box checked.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

my itunes tv and movie purchases are not showing in my video app, iphone 5s, and this has happened since ios 8 was installed

Were they previously downloaded/synced to your iPhone, and if they were have you got them in the TV Shows and Movies parts of your computer's iTunes library. When you update via a computer the device is backed up, the iOS version is updated, and your content is then restored to the device - but none of your iTunes downloads are included in the actual backup (just your documents, notes, calendars, app settings etc), instead it looks to get the apps, music, films, TV shows from your iTunes library.
If the 'show all' setting isn't showing them then what country are you are in, you are logged in with the same account that you bought them with, you haven't changed countries since buying them and they aren't hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases ?
