i updated my phone and now i cannot close my apps....they wont wiggle no matter how many times i tap & hold them

Double tap the Home button.
You will see your apps as a thumbnail screen.
Swipe the app screen UP to close it.
It's a new way of closing apps now in iOS 7.

Passbook App wont close most recent added card/pass

After you add the first pass, it wont close, stays on the screen. I close the passbook app and next start of passbook app is still on the screen

When you install your first Passbook application and tell the application "Add to Passbook" the most recent card will stay in front. When you add more cards, you will have cards just behind that most recent. Slide your card down and the next few cards will be tabbed.
When you are done with that pass and no longer using it, hit the info icon on the upper right and hit the trash can button.

Yoga ultrabook apps wont close in landscape with finger

Hello all,
I am posting due to not being able to find a solution to my newest of yet ANOTHER issue with this PC.
I really don't want to have to call and wait on the phone for another condacending support person.
The latest issue is not I cannot swipe close an app from the top down in landscape with my finger, I can however use the mouse or pen.
Also it will swipe close when held in portrait mode with the finger.
I am not real sure what to do with this one and I have tried updating any and all settings possible.

swipe speed is of no matter, it just pulls the page shifted. It does not pull to the middle and shrink. This is a new issue that has begun. As I mentioned it will close finger when held like a book.

Apps wont close since I installed the latest upgrade

Since I installed the latest update for my phone, I cannot close the apps. As usual, I tap the icon, but it doesn't "wiggle", so I cannot close it. Has anyone else come across this problem.

There's a new way to quit apps that requires less time. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.

Updated apps wont load

I have a 4th generation 32gb i-touch. i have recently updated some apps including games, utilities, and others, however after they were finished installing and updating, I go to click on an app (Zombie Hwy for example) and it doesn't even load up the app, it just goes back to the app screen. this is happeneing with multiple applications that I have updated.
running os5.1.1 on the itouch.
how do I get these applications to load without having to restore the itouch, or deleting the applications and reinstalling them running the risk of loosing progress?

actually i selected an app that isnt a game, but was still having the issue. deleted it and reinstalled that one app only, now all the apps work ... weird huh ...
if i have any more issues ill do the hard reset like you mentioned ... ive had to do that quite often
interesting how you get a software update that is supposed to fix bugs and glitches, yet it ends up creating other bugs and glitches ........

Help! iOS7 updated apps wont go away. Still reads "Open" in app store.

I recently updated to IOS7 on an iPhone 5. Several of my apps have updates and I've installed them however in the App Store app on my phone the apps remain with the tag "open". Once I've opened they are still there and will not disappear. Help! I've tried to back up my phone, update from my macbook & nothing seems to work.

I figured out a way around it:
1. Go into iTunes and download the app(s) you're missing.
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
3. Go into iTunes and under your phone, remove the apps you're already missing through iTunes (click the remove button next to the apps that had already disappeared).
4. Sync your phone.
5. Disconnect your phone from your computer.
6. Download the app(s) from the App Store on your phone, while your phone isn't connected to your computer.
Worked for me! Good luck!

Apps wont close

All of a sudden when I open any apps, phone, messages or calender it won't shut down' I have to turn the whole. Phone off every time.

Double tap Home button and delete everything in the multitask-bar.
(Note: it will not delete the apps)

Hi I have just got back from the apple store and the guy at the Genius bar looked at it and said it was a manufacturing fault, and because it has been like it since new, and seemed to be getting worse he replaced the computer and I have a new warranty from today.
We got the feeling as soon as he looked at it that he has seen this before, I did say to him I was concerned it would be a replacement screen and I was not really happy about that as it was so new, and he said that was the normal procedure, but as the fault was already there at new and it was getting worse they would replace. I could not have asked for a better service.
Not unpacked this one yet but am hoping all is good, its a great little machine.

IPhone wont let me listen to music or update apps

Hello. When i go to the Music app and press a song it freezes and doesn't play it or it will be on play but it will just be at 0:00 and not start the song. I always try to turn up the volume but it freezes and doesn't work. I ushally have to double click the home button and close the app. Another problem i have with my iPhone is that my app store has the number 2 by it in red and i go to update my apps but it does not update anything. I can click it and the circle thing will be moving just the apps wont update. I'm not sure if they're already updated and my app store just has the number 2 by it or that they wont update at all? Please help I've been having these two problems for quite a while..

Mail app wont open since 10.5.6 update

I updated yesterday from 10.4 to 10.5.6 to get ilife. Since then, mail mail app wont open. I click, one bounce and nothing! When I go to restart my G5 it shows mail as being open. I can open a new viewer from the upper tool bar, this will shoe me my folders, but wont open, and nothing appears in my inbox. I can see all my messages and send and receive via web on mobile me. Ive tried syncing... seems the issue is mail not opening to begin with. I getting a wee bit desperate!

Ipod wont let me download or update apps

I have a 5th generation ipod touch but now for some reason wont let me download apps or update apps. At first I thought the apps that wont update gliched my ipod so I deleted those apps but still nothing. This started after I got iOS 8.0.2, before it was fine. What happens is I can go into my app store, go to any app but after I click install but it never asks for my password ( I haven't tried with paid apps though) the app appears on my home screen loading but said waiting, though after some time its gone. It never downloaded. This is what happens with any app I try downloading. HELP PLEASE. if you can tell me any reason or solution, please do so. Thanks

I logged out of iTunes on my device (iPod Touch 5th Gen), turned off the recommended apps on the same page, and then shut device all the way off for about 10 minutes. Powered on, logged into account, and now it downloads apps using wi-fi when before it locked and only showed the "get +" box.

Change iTunes Store Country on an iDevice
1. Tap Settings;
2. Tap iTunes & App Stores;
3. Tap View Apple ID;
4. Enter your user name and password;
5. Tap Country/Region;
6. Tap Change Country/Region;
7. Select the region where you will be located;
8. Tap Done.

All apps downloaded/purchased are tied to the apple ID used to download/purchase them.
If you change your Apple ID and do not wish to use the old apple ID and password to update them, you have to delete them and redownload or buy them under the new apple ID.
