Which Tiger update version is the best?

Have installed the original Tiger 10.4 on my Sawtooth 400mHz. Need to do a software update, but not sure which of the updates (from 10.4.1 to 10.4.11) is the best one to use without having any headaches. I have not installed any other software on the Mac yet (plan on installing Microsoft Office X and iWork 06 for example) until it's updated a bit. Haven't even hooked up a printer to it yet. The iWork 06 program says that you need at least 10.4.3. I've heard 10.4.7 and possibly the last update (10.4.11) have given problems.
Any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated!

In Applications>Utilities, launch Disk Utility, that will allow you to Verfy & Repair Permissions both, but if the Verify says there's a problem, then you must boot from the Install Disk...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

i am an amateur in the field of Java & Oracle.
Having decided to base my career in J2EE and Oracle, i am very confused as to what type of application server to learn in order to develop Enterprise class applications.
i have just filtered down my options to the most famous and i need help from you guys to make the right decision.
BEA System's WebLogic or IBM's WebSphere or Oracle's Application Server (Oracle9iAS)?
And one more thing, what platform do i concentrate on:
Windows or Solaris?
for developing and deploying Enterprise class applications?
Please help me out Gurujis...

Can my client update photos without the Muse program?

Hi i have seen this asked before but without any clear answer. My client wants a site made but he wants to be able to update images on the site, like adding more, adding text and deleting and updating images. Just wondering if this is possible to do without haveing the Muse programe. Can he make these changes from the business catalyst manage site? or will he have to have the program?
Any insight into this greatly appreciated, thank you.

At this time, sharing the Muse file while your client has Muse program too is the only way around this otherwise one can alter the code directly which we do NOT recommend as manual changes made to the published site will not reflect in the Muse project file stored locally. Sales order Update indicator in the include program MV45AFZZ

Hi All,
Can somebody will give idea how do we can find whether the sales order is creating or changing when we are writing some code in the user exit MV45AFZZ.I checked in this program we can find only at item level XVBAP-UPDKZ but i want this at the header level.
One way we can find this is by checking SY-TOCDE = VA01 but this condition fail if we create sales order using the BAPI.

In create mode XVBAK-VBELN will be initial, where as in change mode it contains sales order number.

I just bought an ipod nano but im not even going to lay a finger on it until i get a case for it.I heard of the nano tubes but thats not going to help me when there not even out yet. I've been doing some searching and it seems like thier are no cases out yet. If you have any ideas please write back.

I can't figure out how to post a message to start a new topic; I only see how to "reply". So I'll write my question in here and hope I get info onhow to post and on my question. We have downloaded the Vcast Media Manager to our laptop 3 times and each time it shows up as having been downloaded and installed. But when we click on it, nothing happens. We can't get it toOpen no matter how we go about it. If it makes any difference, my phone is an Incredible 2. Thanks for any information on both issues.

You need to call in. And an FYI, if you speak to the reps as you speak to the customers who are the members here, you will not have a chance to get a dime back.
I bet you are a new customer and the charge seems high. If so it is due to paying for the current month and also paying for the next month. WHICH IS DONE BY EVERY CARRIER. The next bill will be the amount you expect.

Any Opinions on the Best Speakers

I just got a new 17" MBP for school. Grad architecture, but I need some god small speakers for the MBP and a good headset when I need some softer tunes to get me through the late nights. I am not a fan of Bose. any suggestions on some great speakers and a headset for a new MBP 17"? I saw some small black AND I THINK WHITE TO ON APPLE.COM IN THE STORE. THE REVIEWS WERE 50/50 AT THAT TIME BUT I THINK THEY WERE JUST PUT out.

Any experience with the best of the best speakers for the MBP and a great headset to listen to music or using Skype?

What is the best cooling pad for a MacBook Pro

I use the laptop in a variety of settings. It gets really hot on my lap and was wondering if anyone has used a cooling pad they like for this problem.

I'm sure someone will jump in with the best of the best. FWIW the MBP is not a laptop it is a notebook. And as you've probably read in your User Guide does not belong on your lap.

Sorry but the Nokia e7 uses the Symbian OS which is not supported by mobile Firefox and Nokia is also moving on to Windows mobile now anyways.
