Updated Firefox Now Have 2nd Full Kodak EasyShare Program-'Puter Crashing 59% resources

I updated Firefox thru CNET Tracker to newest program and now have MAJOR issues! Have a Kodak Easy Share program & didn't update to the newest Kodak program due to the many issues I had read about it.
I went to 2nd Kodak program properties found this in: C:\Program Files\Kodak\Kodak EasyShare software\bin
I see that in Advanced Properties for 2nd Kodak icon under Shortcut that it this is ticked "Run in Separate Memory Space."
I don't know how this got ticked-I wouldn't even know how to create a 2nd icon with a complete program!!!! I haven't got a clue how to untick it as it is grayed out. Maybe this last part will give someone a clue in helping me as I am really desperate-my desktop I believe has crashed and if not=it will with such low resources.
Begging for help-really...
Huge issue now is that my Kodak program has duplicated in full & now have 2 complete Kodak programs on my desktop with over 8,700 pictures showing on each program which has made my resources get lowered to around 50% making my computer at risk for a total crash. The only thing I did was remove Firefox program hoping that would correct issue but it didn't=status quo.I am using my desktop in Safe Mode as that is where it went to when I turned it back on after TS Isac Not sure if my desktop already crashed?
I really need some massive help as I don't want desktop to crash out Iif it didn't already?) & I'm not too technical. Are not any virus or malware present on desktop-100% certain. .
Btw I did a complete clean up of desktop thinking that was issue with slowness and then did a restart.
Appreciate and all help in this mess~don't want to lose my desktop as that is my primary computer that I use. Many Thanks

This seems not to be a Firefox specific problem, but I will nevertheless try to make some helpful comments.
* cnett tracker could actually be part of your problem
* Official copies of firefox are available from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
** advantages: <br/>by default it keeps itself up to date<br/>does not download or install any necessary software <br/>you always get the up-to-date official version
You may wish to consider installing the official version from the above link, but do NOT use any options that offer to delete personal information.
I can not really help with the Kodak software. It is possible that what you see are duplicated shortcuts to the photos rather than the photos themselves. Or possibly cnett tracker has installed the software and your albums twice. You may be able to get advice on a more general Windows forum, or from Kodak related forums. Try for instance:

Updated my iPhone 5 to ios7, in the App store after installing updates I now have a never ending list of the Apps I've updated.  How do I get rid of the list after they've been updated?  In the previous version I did not have an annoying permanent list.

iOS 7 allows you to have your apps update automatically. Therefore, the list of what has been updated stays so that you can see what was updated, when and what the release notes say. It has been suggested that they list has a limit, much like Recents. Currently, there is no way for the user to delete the entries manually. Just try not to look at them.

PS I'm still new to Macs so the more broken down the better.

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.

Since my maverick update i now have blurry screen.
writing is blurred and pictures are blurred, its like i need glasses to focus properly. any ideas????
its like everything is out of focus

Do you see everything out of focus right from when the unit turns on, or only after getting to the desktop?  You should try a PRAM reset to start.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379

  • Since updating Firefox I have problems with playing Zynga games

since updating Firefox I have problems with the Zynga games I am playing. The functions often stop working so I have to reboot the game. Also there are often a lot of items missing on my screen so I can't play at all

I have this problem, as well, since the upgrade to 4.0.1. After the upgrade, I found several 'Recovered Files' in my Trash. On taking a look, they all had to do with the Crowdstar app. Happy Aquarium, I believe, but there are several folders of them. Some of them could have to do with Zynga's FarmVille.
However, after repeated problems, I installed Chrome 10. to see if the Facebook apps. would work. They did, without problems. That tells me the folders in Trash shouldn't have anything to do with whether they operate or not but it has something to do with something Firefox has done, or not done, with this upgrade. Frankly, I'm baffled and more than a little annoyed. :/
However, thinking back to the upgrade, it happened suddenly while I was on the phone with AppleCare on another matter. It was they who suggested I needed to upgrade my browser and I did it immediately, on-the-spot. It wasn't what you would call a 'clean install' because I was on the phone but also online with AppleCare. The process went so fast, I remember there were things about the installation that didn't quite seem right and I do remember that the earlier version of Firefox was not removed prior to the upgrade. Is there any chance something could be out-of whack because of this? If so, I need to know how to save my passwords, bookmarks, profile, and any other critical info that would need to be transferred.

  • Updated Firefox, now when I open a new tab, there is two seperate google search bars; how do I get rid of the unnecessary search bar?

I updated Firefox, and after I restarted it, when I opened a new tab, I found that I now had two Google search bars: one next to where you type web addresses, and one right above my pinned sites (or my frequently visited sites). I'm just trying to:
    1. Figure out why it is necessary to have two of the pretty much identically useful search bars when I really only need one (or can physically type Google in)
    and
    2. How do I get rid of the unnecessary second Google search bar above my frequently visited and therefore pinned sites.
If you have any ideas of how to remove this annoying addition, I would appreciate it.

I am guessing that you installed an extension, related to "new tab", which added the first search bar. Firefox 31 in includes a search bar for the "new tab" page; so now you have two.
Take a look at that extension (Options or Preferences) to see how to disable ones of those 2 search bars. Or see if an update has been released for that extension, specifically for Firefox 31, with an option to disable the search bar.

  • Since I updated Firefox I have to constantly re log-in to my Yahoo account such as email. Every time I leave the page I have to log-in to get back into it. I also run OPERA and I do not have that problem with them. I stay logged in. Any suggestions?

I have windows Vista and have the updated version of Firefox. I also can run OPERA and LUNASCAPE with no problems. When running Firefox I have to constant re log-in to my Yahoo account every time I leave the page. For example: I log in to check my email on Yahoo and then leave my email page. Then when I return to recheck my email I have to log in all over again. I can't stay logged in. If I run my OPERA browser I stay logged in for days without having to sign in all over again.

  • HT201386 Since the 8.02 update I now have every photo separated into an event for each pic. how do i get it back to the way it was before the update?

I backed up my phone and then updated to the new update 8.02. I now have my pics in a separate album for each pic with an event attached to each one. how do i set it back up to the couple albums i had previously without adding all my pics from my computer which i dont want?

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

  • TS2755 I did the iOS update and now have a terrible lag in texting.

I did the iOS software update on my iphone4 and now have a terrible lag in the ability to message.

If you JUST updated, you may need to leave the phone connected and give it time as it is still syncing even though you are able to use your phone. That is part of the new OS, the ability to use your phone while it is processing in the background. If that's not the issue, try what the previous reply suggested. That's what worked for me when my music appeared to be in my iPod, but would not play.

  • I have a large kodak easyshare library, what is the best way to transfer them into iPhoto ?

I have about 5k pictures in the kodak easyshare software system on a dell laptop - what is the best way to transfer or import them into iPhoto on my iMac ? any help will be greatly appreciated...

Simply, export the data from this esy share system to standard formats like jpeg, making sure to preserve all metadata on the way. How to do that? YOu'll need to post on a Kodak forum I'm afraid.
Then copy the files to the Mac and import them.
    Regards

  • Updated Firefox, now when trying to use keeps wanting to restart computer

I updated Firefox today, and following update it said it needed to restart the computer. Following restart I tried to open it and now it won't open at all and will just stay to complete installation the computer must restart. I tried to uninstall from control panel and I can't even uninstall because it gives me the same message....to complete installation, your computer must restart. Not really sure what to do about that.

It shouldn't be necessary to reboot the computer to update Firefox. That will only happen if files are in use by other software and thus makes it impossible for the updater to replace them. So you need to check your security software and make sure that it isn't locking files in the Firefox program folder.
Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.<br />
Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.
