Updated iCloud w new email on iMac. Won't sync to iPhone or iPad. Help!sync to
on my Imac, updated Icloud with my new username/new email. Now iPad and iPhone have not picked up data and will not let me sign into my Apple account and iCloud is no longer synced. Help!
You have to sign out cmpletely on all your devices and sign back in with the new ID.
On a Mac: System Preferences>iCloud and click 'Sign out'.
On an iOS device: Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete account' (this will not delete the account from the server, just unlink your device from it.
Your synced iCloud data will disappear when you sign out but will reappear (give it time) when you sign back in.

I tried but it won't let me even access the old Apple ID. It won't recoginze its old password and will not let me make a new one. (The site tells me it has sent an email to let me change the password but the email does not come.)

My email recently changed and so I updated my Apple ID to reflect my new email, but my Icloud account still shows the old email as the username on both my Iphone and Ipad and for the life of me I can't figure out how to change or delete it. My password doesn't work with the old email address. When I look for my old email address in the Apple ID support area it says that the ID doesn't exist. Help!!!
You have to go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. This deletes the account and your synced data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing to a different account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

My IMAC won´t sync with iCloud drive

In particular make sure the iCloud Outlook add-in is active within Outlook.

I upgraded to 10.7.4, to upgrade to iCloud. And ever since the upgrade to iCloud, my iCal, Address book, etc. won't sync to my iPhone. My iMAC does sync with my MacBook Pro but not to my iPhone. What do I do? And though my iMac sync to my MacBook Pro, there is a little problem. My iCal shows let's say 9 AM in my iMAC, it shows 8 AM in the MacBook Pro. The scheduling in the iCAL is a bet of a mess eer since of the upgrade.
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY PLEASE!!!To sync to your iPhone, you need to check iCloud requirements to be sure your iPhone is compatible with iCloud and your iPhone software is up to date.
You also need to make sure iCloud is enabled on the iPhone.
And you need to make sure the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi in order to sync.
For the time difference, be sure the time settings on each device is the same with time zone and daylight saving time the same setting on each. -

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.

I have an iBook G4 and iTunes is no longer updating. The last update is 9.2.1 but it doesn't support my iPhone or iPad. Is there anything I can do to update iTunes or is my only recourse to update my laptop?
As Niel has suggested Mac OS X 10.5 Lepaord.
But first of all make sure that your iBook is above 800Mhz and you have at least 512 Meg of memory. (1 GB recommended)
Please note, that if you do install Mac OS X 10.5 on your iBook, it will not allow you to install the latest version of iTunes version 11. The most recent version of iTunes that can be installed would be 10.5, which will be compatible with your iPod touch 4th gen, provided it's not been updated to iOS 6.
Sadly you can't install any version of Mac OS X above 10.5 Leopard, as it they requires an Intel processor, which your iBook G4 does not have.

Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap the old ID and sign out. Sign in with the changed ID.

I installed the new numbers on the imac.
I updated a simple spreadsheat.
Tried to open via icloud on ipad-
Apple suggest to update to the new numbers. This is not aviable for the ipad 1.
1) Why Can Ipad 1 users not open icloud docs created by the new numbers on the mac ?
2) What's the use of mobile devices when they don't work
3) Can I open this docs via a google application ?Drag...
Where did you get your copy of numbers on the mac? You best go back to your old version of numbers on your mac.
Perhaps it's something to do with icloud. try dropbox. Try running the spreadsheet through NeoOffice calc on the Mac.
It's the world of software. When you use vintage stuff, you need to get more creative or spend money on an upgrade. Apple is lacking in the legacy world.
Now you be the time to come up with a backup plan for your mac.

ICal on iMac won't synch with iphone 4 with 4s software update
Help please.
Since I updated my iphone 4 with the software for iphone 4s my ical on my imac won't synch with my iphone calendar. Also events are duplicated. It is driving me crazy as I have to check both clandarsd to ensure I don't miss any events and have to physically re enter them separately into the different calendars.
If the fix involves backing up or anything technical can you please explain fully how I do it as I am not a very experienced mac user.

Nicole"Well, I figured it out. The events that weren't syncing from my laptop to my iPhone were events for which I had changed the "calendar". In other words, I set up some events in iCal, all of which were part off the same calendar, but then I didn't like the color of those events. So I created a new calendar and changed these events by right clicking on them to assign them to the new calendar. Somehow, moving these events from the calendar they were created on to a different one caused them not to be recognized by the sync process. This sounds like a bug to me."

New email account just won't work
I've been using an email account on my mac for years, as well as my .mac account as a secondary email. both worked fine. my missus has now opened an account with virginbroadband and we get all of our email, phone, broadband from them. everything works except her email.
we've been onto their tech heloand they don't know what the problem is. if we go to their website and log in to her webmail the account is working fine and we ca see all the greetings messages etc, but we've set up a new email address on my mac but it won't connect - the account name in the 'mailbox > inbox' column on the left shows my account, fine, but next to hers is i litlle zigzag meaning can't connect. when you try, it asks for a password; we put in the same password that works on the webmail but it says password rejected in Mail.
Virgin have reset the password, without success. I went in to her webmail and changed the password to something completely different, but that hasn't worked either.
Any ideas anyone, because virgin broadband don't have any idea!
and by the way, i went into a virgin broadband shop and asked and they had less idea than me 13 year old son!!!Lots of sensible questions and suggestions, but unfortunately no luck!
I've deleted and just remade the dodgy account. no luck.
The answers to alll the other questions are 'yes'!
then i ran connection doctor - it shows 4 connections, two are my .me account (i guess that's incoming and outgoing for my own email account?) and two connections for VirginMedia, one of which says "connection to this server succeeded, log in not required" while the other says "trying to log in to this pop account failed. Verify that the username and password are correct". They are the same username and password that work if i go to webmail in safari.
