Updated iOS to 5.1.1 a few minutes ago, but failed to activate my iphone. how should i proceed? Jerry
i downloaded iOS 5.1.1 and updated my iphone accordingly. however i failed to activate the iPhone using itunes or through a wi fi connection. am getting the message "your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes". I have been trying again several times without success. How should I proceed?
Alright, sorry for not having browsed this page a bit more before stating my question. I have just found some other similar topics on this problem. Please don't reply this thread unless there actually is a solution to the problem, because at current time there is not.

Upgrading iPad to iOS 7.1.06 from iOS 7.x.x, cant' remember the exact version. It has gotten stuck with an Apple Logo on the screen, although it sometimes switches briefly to a blank screen before returning to the Logo. It has been 24 hours since we started. FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -

And I noticed the watch face is now 12 hours and not 24 hours anymore.

LOL. in that case it is a update/upgrade feature for my smartband.
It have never done the vibration before. Band died on me a few times when I didn't pay attention to the battery level.

Screen goes black, shut the lid for a few minutes, open the lid the turn on chime comes on and the screen comes back to life. The computer itself has continued to update just no screen. After a few minutes goes black again. Is logic board going bad or graphic card issue? Trying to decide if computer is worth repairing as it was made in 2007.
It does sound like you might have a faulty video connection. See if you can make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store.

I updated to an iphone5 and only a few of my photos came in from the photostream how ever all of the are still on my iPad?! How do I get the rest of the photos over to my iphone5?!
First of all, photo stream only saves up to 1000 photos and up to 30 days before they are deleted. The only thing you can do at this point is to sync the photos from the ipad to a computer and then sync to the iphone 5.

I bought an iphone 5 where the warranty goes up to May 2014. On 22/02 I did the update of iOS 7.0.6 and the same was without service. The model is the A1429 which has no assistance in Brazil.

Just a few minutes ago i tried to purchase from The Simpsons tapped out game, but there were a warning that my purchese was declined and i was asked to re-filled the payment info in order to compete my purchase. itunes error (-42404) -- Okay, getting a little frustrated (but then again, who isn't a little frustrated?). I recently tried to upgrade iTunes software a few days ago but it failed. What is (-42404) error code mean?
I get the following:
(1) iTunes - The software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you? Yes/No
(2) iTunes - The software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones could not be repaired. Please reinstall iTunes if you wish to use these devices. OK

Okay, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Funny, iTunes can be found in a program folder, but it does not show up in the programs list. I tried to look for it using the command prompt ("wmic" --> "product get name") but iTunes is not there either. Doesn't even show up in the registry to try to uninstall.
I just want to "properly" uninstall and reinstall iTunes (plus the other usual suspects, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, & Apple Application Support). If anyone out there has any suggestions, please help! (I'm running Windows Vista -- don't judge/laugh) :-)Okay, feeling like an idiot, but will share so others don't have to. I rebooted my computer and that enabled iTunes to reappear in the programs list. Don't appear to be having the same problems as before (no error messages now). Problem solved!

Liar Firefox: I have download and install Acrobat Reader 11.0.0 few minutes ago and Firefox still telling lies that Acrobat has in not current version.
Have you rendered both iOS 7 and iOS 8 (both of which will work on your iPhone 5) out of the question entirely without trying every possible configuration? The animations can be disabled entirely, if that's the problem. And if the whiter-brighter user interface is the problem, there's reverse-contrast modes that darken everything. You can expose accessibility controls to gain immediate access to these functions to toggle them on and off. I guess my point is you may have decided against upgrading the OS based on an early experience with iOS 7 when Apple has since made changes in later revisions to address some of the usability complaints.
Now, Apple's instructions for downloading older versions of apps is to do so from the Purchased list, not from the app's product page.

I'm not techinal so please bear with me. I don't have the bar that allows me to type in a website. I did have a few minutes ago. When I make the page full screen and move my cursor to the top of the page, the bar drops down and I can use it. I've tried restarting my computer, didn't work. Help!
Well I figured it out, right click the arrow that makes the screen bigger and unclick the Hide Toolbar. I knew it couldn't be that hard.

I'm trying to find my phone back up from a few days ago before I bought my new iPhone, but when I searched on iTunes backup it has been replaced by the back up the day after that. Now all my data from my old phone is lost including some really important things. Also before that iTunes wouldn't let me sync my iPhone 5s data to my new iPhone 6 Plus, saying that the data is corrupt, that's where all this trouble started. I've been trying to back-up the old phones data so I can access it, but it's been replaced when ever I plug the new phone in, and no the 'sync automatically when connected' is not ticked. Please help me find my back ups.
Your iCoud account remains in iCloud even if your device is restored. (In fact, you can't delete an iCloud account from iCloud, you can only choose to stop using it.) If the device is restored, or it may no longer be signed into your iCloud account but your account will still exist in iCloud.

Downloaded Photoshop trial a few days ago but it has expired already.
I downloaded the photoshop extended trial a few days ago, but when I run it, it says it has expired already. The weird thing is that when I try to redownload photoshop using the adobe download assistant, it says in the top right corner that I have 30 days left.
