I updated my ipad and it isnt allowing me to keep the email address i had. would like to keep it the same! any inputs?
I{m not sure what you mean by that. Where is it asking you to change it? and By update do you mean you updated the iOS software on it, or you bought a new iPad all together?

When trying to update apps from iPad and iPhone a previous one time users email keeps coming up. How do I delete their information?
delete off any apps that are asking for the wrong apple id and download/sync them over from the correct one

When i connect my iPhone to iTunes, it says i have to set up my iPhone, and wont allow me to sync any media i have already purchased on it. My phone is not new, so I dont understand? This all came about when i updated the iOS 6 software. I have tried to re-set up my phone but it makes no difference and deletes everything off my phone.

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -

The music app on my Iphone 5 is acting up, it keeps skipping songs and wont allow the to play. You can see the music icon the on notification bar play and pause. When i go back to the app is states the url is not responding. I have restored it from the backed up cloud save. It is the music app, I played music on pandora and it worked fine. I think it must be the app or the ios.
restore with itunes not from an itunes backup or cloud save they do absolutely nothing only a clean restore will solve your problem

whenever someone sends me a file the Ipad labels it winmail.dat and wont allow me to open it...these are Word, Exce or jpgs. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it? Also, how can you save attachments to a file on the IPad2
Is this a particular sender, or all of your attchments? Google winmail.dat and you will see a number of returns that can explain this, but in short, this is the way some e mail providers deal with attachments. If all of your e mail is coming that way, you need to change a setting on your isp set up. Perhaps stary here...

iPad mini wont allow in app purchases, it says can't connect to I tunes , my internet connection is good and restrictions is off. Also won't allow on iPhone or another iPad.

I haven't been able to replicate this issue on my iPad as thought initially it may be because you had Airplane Mode on but in doing so I did spot a bug, if you do have Airplane Mode on and then go in to Wifi and turn wifi on it won't disable Airplane mode and you are still connected to your network - how very bizarre - anyway my apologies I digress - do you get any error messages at all? Have you tried turning off your Router for a couple of mins then back on again?

I am trying to save a doc. to a external hard drive and it wont allow me. I says its read only, any ideas on how to correct it?
Save it on the internal HD then copy it from this safe location to the external device.
iWork applications can't apply their save process on devices which aren't formatted as HFS+.
But it may also be that for some reason, an external device formatted as HFS+ is set to Read Only.
If it's this case, you will have to change de setting before moving the file on it.

My iPhone, iPad and iPod are all associated with the same Apple ID. How can I remove the iPod and associate it with a new Apple ID without affecting the data on the other devices (note: there is no data on the iPod I want to keep)?
Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

My husband and I both have iPads and somehow when they were setup the both we're setup using the same email I'd address. When I go to delete and rename one iPad it says all info and pictures will be erased from my iPad. Is there a way to keep the info IPad when doing this?
You can go to Settings/iCloud and delete the account, then create a new iCloud account. You can still use the same account for the app store though.
