Updated iPhone to 1.1.4 now getting iTunes Store error (-9813)
I updated my iPhone to 1.1.4 and after the restore when the iPhone restarts, the connects to iTunes, but an iTunes Store error occurs saying We Could Not Complete Your iTunes Store Request. An Unknown Error Has Occurred (-9813). Anyone have any solution?
Hey, I've also tried all of those things and none of them worked for me as well. I called apple tech support (i'm still under warranty) and they sent me an e-mail fixing it and that was all they told me to do and none of it worked. I think it's complete BS considering how much these computers cost. If you find a solution to this please let me know I've been trying to fix this problem for a while now. Thanks!

It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.

Every time I load iTunes I get:

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Keep getting itunes store error message at startup or launch.
The full dialogue message is "The itunes Store is disabled in the parental preferences, so itunes could not complete your itunes store request" and it occurs with every launch of iTunes at startup. iTunes Store is switched off in the parental preferences as I don't make iTunes requests or buy grossly inflated virtual product, only hard copy CD's or DVD's. This message started appearing with Mountain Lion.
Does anyone know how I can switch this error message off?

Check the hosts file or TCP/IP filtering, which might cause communication issues between iTunes, ports, and servers.

I just recently updated the software on my ihpone 4 to the iOS 7 and now my iTunes Store does not work. All of my other apps work perfectly fine except iTunes. Whenever I open the app, the icons for music and movies and tv shows come up, but when I touch them, nothing happens. The screen is just blank. And I already tried updating again, updating iTunes on my computer, turning my iphone off and on, and resetting my ihpone, and nothing works. Can anyone help?
I searched this site for ios 7 and itunes store and found numerous others with the same problem, and several suggested solutions. One said that they had blocked all cookies and that was apparently the problem. I had done the same thing - blocked all cookies. So I set cookies back to "third parties and advertisers" and that solved the problem. Now the itunes store is working.

While updating or downloang apps in my iphone, it appears, Can not connect to iTunes Store. My software is up to date and there is no problem in wifi.

Try a location with a Non Secure WiFi -> As these locataions "typically" do not have a IT Guy to go to for questions regarding [Other Security WiFi Blocks]

Then try the steps below [Even with the others listed above]
Just because you may be able to get to a Secure and Non Secure Website on safari on the iphone does not mean the WiFi connection is "Perfect or ok" and I am not saying it is not.
Also take into effect servers for iTunes updates/Apps etc could be overloaded at that time.
You can also try a simple Hard Reset [Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button at same time - Once see Apple Logo release both buttons - Allow iphone to reset]
If have already tried these and have not contacted AppleCare Support try that too.

After reformatting my 1 Tb WD ext drive and tinkering with the "exclude these items" list, I now get the following error message from Time Machine: "Are you sure you want to back up to the same device your original data is on?" Not sure what you mean by "booted" from it.
If the Mac OS is installed on the external drive, then it's possible to start up from it, just as you do from your internal drive. Please open the Startup Disk preference pane in System Preferences, and verify that your internal drive is selected as the startup disk.
Assuming that's the case, then it may be that your TM settings have been corrupted. Turn off TM, then move or delete the file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist. Turn TM back on, recreate your settings, and try again. -

I was able to fix it. In Filebrowser-view I had a coverflow-preview mode on. Changing it to list-mode problems are gone!

Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.
