The only thing I didn't do right is that I didn't Erase all content from iPod... I did it from iTunes...

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Offand, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
If these do not solve the problem you can restore from a current iTunes or iCloud backup.

I downloaded adobe flashplayer as i couldnt see any video content on facebook. now all the videos i watch are jerky. ive tried to delete it off my harddrive and emptyied trash but still its no good. what have i done wrong/ and how can i fix it?

Try emptying your browser cache more often. If you are using Safari, from the menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Empty Cache
Try a video on FB. If can't stream Flash content, back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that doesn't help, try deleing Flash cookies > Flush.app – Flash Cookie Removal Tool For OS X | MacHacks.TV

I restored and updated ipod 4g to ios 6.1 and lost all iCloud data

Hi,
Today i restored my ipod touch that was on ios 6.0.1 and updated it to ios 6.1 because apple isn't signing shsh blobs for 6.0.1 anymore...
Now during the setup it didn't ask me if I wanted to restore from an icloud backup and when i go in my setting my 6.0.1 backup is still there...
I lost all my pictures and app data ...
What could i do to get it back ?

I am not at that computer now, but I did check via windows update & with the check updates menu choice in the itunes program - neither indicated a newer version of itunes is available. (it is a vista computer).
The itunes software on the computer displays my ipod & the current ios (4.3.2), and indicates a newer ios is available (6.1.3). When I choose "update", I am taken to Windows Exploer and prompted to choose a file to open. it is as if the "update" button has the incorrect code attached to it.

. You do not need a seperate Apple ID. One one device you just need to go to Settings>Messages and add another/different Messaging email address and delete the common Apple ID address. Also see:

Restore...
From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time.
