Updated iTunes to 10.4.1 and now everytime I try to sync my iPhone 4 it crashes... what can I do?
I updated my iTunes to 10.4.1 and now everytime I try to sync my iPhone 4 the program crashes and I cannot finish the process. It starts to sync without trouble, it finishes step 3 and syncs ok contacts, calendars, markers, notes but when it starts to sync the music it crashes I get a window that gives me this information:

Is this normal in this version? What can I do? Or should I just wait for anew version of iTunes?
i have had the same problem, souonds like a version issue, anyone know how to fix this issue?

Looks like I fixed it., thanks to another post I read. I went into my Norton Security. Under Settings. Chose Firewall. Program rules. changed the itunes setting from "auto" to "allow" This also fixed my error (-3212) which would not allow me to connect to the iTunes store.

Well, you could trade it in for a white one!
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

I just updated iTunes to the latest version and now I can't play more than half of my songs. When I click on a song it comes back and states that it can't find it and prompts me to try and locate it. I don't know where to look. Help!!!!

I updated iTunes 10.3.1 today, and now it won't let me openitunes it keeps saying error 7 (windows error 14001) and also says (apple mobile failed to startverify significant privileges to start system services) I have unstalled it severaltimes, tried repairing it also switched off all security software and checkedall files are deleted in local disk (program file) but still no look. The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
Regarding AMDS failures there is a hint in another thread that disabling the Windows Firewall before attempting to reinstall may help, otherwise take a look at the steps outlined in this post. Re: Can't install iTunes 12.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I know they look a little daunting, but the process of generating the logs themselves isn't that hard to do. Extracting useful information from them is still a challenge but maybe something will leap out. If you want to post the log for the failed components for me to have a look at here or in the other thread please edit out any personal information, particularly your email address, first.

Only way to get iMac starting again was to re-install 10.4.4 from DVD, and then update it into 10.4.6. For a while it worked perfectly, just as before.
Then I tried to print to CD with my EPSON Stylus Photo 950 from Adobe Photoshop Elements (2.0). It didn't print anything, but printer started flashing all lights. The print job was not performed, so I did remove it from the Printer Utility. After that the iMac started "ticking" again, same noise than before, after 10.4.7 installation. I did re-boot iMac. It never started, it does stuck on gray screen (gray block running clockwise). HW test from DVD didn't find any problems (extended search looping 3 times). But Disk Utility found hard drive to have inaccurate node structure, it could not fix it.
Apple support recommended to use DiskWarrior. However, it does not support (yet) Intel Macs. I haven't got TechTool Pro 4.5.1 anywhere. iMac does start on to FireWire mode (T at boot), but I cannot see the disk from 10.2.8 iMac.
So, obvisously the problem is not 10.4.7. I believe it to be ESPON printer driver compatibility on Mac OSX. This does not suprise me, EPSON printers *****, I shall never purchase one again. However, disk catalog structure should not get messed by one faulty printer driver! -

Help would be much appreciated!If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one. -
