Updated itunes to use ipad mini and itunes wont start up now?

i have a ipad3 + iphone4 + ipod touch and just brought ipad mini pluged it into itunes then itunes says have to update to use with ipad mini so i updated it like normal restarted pc and now doesnt work try reinstalling and repairing files still didnt work any ideas?

If anyone would like to know how to fix this, I discovered the answer.
I have no idea what IPv6 is and I care not, but apparently now, all of a sudden, Apple makes iTunes talk to Airport Express units using IPv6. However, it didnt bother to make the Airport Express units expect this first, so iTunes can see the Airport Express, but it cant talk to it.
Anyway, I found that you have to manually go into your Mac settings (scary stuff if you are a non technical person like me) and turn off IPv6.
To do this, go to "Finder > Go > Utilities > Terminal"
type
networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi (hit enter)
Then type
networksetup -setv6off Ethernet (hit enter)
and magically your iTunes will talk to your Airport Express units again.
I presume at some point we will have to undo this as technology moves on and everything uses IPv6, so when that happens go into Terminal again and type
networksetup -setv6automatic Wi-Fi (hit enter)
Then type
networksetup -setv6automatic (hit enter)

That could be a hardware problem with the screen digitizer but first try these troubleshooting steps in this order:
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
Restore: Connect your device to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory.

I meant by "not compatible" that all the solutions that I found on the web did not work, especially the "Microsoft exchange" one.
Fortunately I found on the comments of the first website you mentioned the right answer for me, which I copy below:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDav Account.
Enter the following information in the fields:
Server: google.com
User Name: Enter your full Google email address
Password: Your Google account password
Select Next at the top of the screen to complete the setup.
After you have completed the setup, open the Contacts app on your device. Syncing should begin automatically.
Additional Information
Note: Make sure that SSL is enabled (under Advanced settings), and that the port is 443.
If you are using application based special password go to https://accounts.google.com/Se... and instead of your password put that special code and u r done.

You can't.
Messages - the replacement for iChat in Mountain Lion and beyond will do Screen Sharing but only to the accounts it did in iChat 5 and 6 (actually it includes iChat 4 as well)
That is to say in earlier version of iChat you could login to AIM and Jabber servers as well as enabling the Bonjour option to chat on your LAN.
All these will do Video and Audio only chats which in turn means they will Screen Share.
At iChat 6 an Yahoo option was added but it can only Text chat (it can't even send Files or Pics)
This means only the Internet able accounts that login in to AIM or to a Jabber server can Video and therefore Screen Share.
The iMessages account will Invoke FaceTime if you use the Video icon during text chat. (I.e. it is not Video inside the app like the AIM or Jabber accounts can do)
NOTE.
AIM includes Apple Issued Apple ID as Valid AIM Screen Names.
Google Mail ID s can be used and Google Talk IDs with Messages as they run a Jabber server.
Facebook allow you to create a Chat ID (Facebook Chat ID) which is also a Jabber server.

Lets see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?

How to transfer music from PC to my iPad mini and iTunes Store app issue

I am new with IPad mini, and have issues with music on device:
A) I wonder whether I can transfer music from PC to device (A 1432) and
B) I have problems 'approaching' iTunes Store app because it shows on screen interface for iTunes U app (which I downloaded previously and deleted it in the meantime because of this problems)...cannot shut it down because there is no way to exit this mode.
hope someone will help so I can finally have some music on device.

I did manage to solve problem of music transfer iPad mini-PC, however I didn't succeed in approaching iTunes Store and there is nothing in the manual about it.
When I open application I have iTunes U interface and cannot move anywhere but close app. I did try to re -enter pass and ID in iTunes Store app settings but nothing changed.
Does anyone have any idea what to do in order to have approach to ITunes Store.

I recently subscribed to iTunes Match via my iPad mini. I use iCloud for calendar, contacts and synching the iPad and my iPhone 4. I can't find iTunes Match on the phone. I thought the subscription would apply to both devices...is this incorrect?

Error. A 2nd generation iPod touch can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1, so you can't use the deleted apps with a newer version that doesn't support iOS 4.2.1. I have installed the new update on my mini and then i follow everything correctly i connect my ipod to a ipod power adapter i did toggle the hold switch on and off and at last press and hold the menu and select button for at least 6 seconds...and it is dead meat....

That is true. you purchase one download only of music/vids/etc.
You can redownload apps only.
Did you update without making sure that you had transferred all purchases from the ipod to itunes? not good.
From the itunes store terms of service:
"PRODUCTS CAN BE DOWNLOADED ONLY ONCE; AFTER BEING DOWNLOADED, THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED IF LOST FOR ANY REASON. YOU SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR OWN SYSTEM, INCLUDING ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED OR RENTED FROM THE ITUNES STORE THAT ARE STORED IN YOUR SYSTEM."
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception. They are under no obligation to allow.

Try putting them in DFU mode. This helped me when it happened to my iPhone 5.
If you don't know how to do that there are plenty of tutorials on the internet. It only takes a couple seconds.

Installed software for Mac Mini and it wont start up

Hi, I got a mac/windows microsoft mouse and the mouse worked when i plugged it in. To get the extra features I installed the software. It said to restart the comp so i did and all I get when it restarts is a blank white screen.
The same thing happens all the time when i turn it on and turn it back on. What is this? How can I reverse this and remove the software? Is there anything that i can do to get my mac to run again?

Start up the Mini in "Safe" mode by holding down the Shift key as soon as you turn on the power and keep it held down until you see the "gear" spinning.
Extra features like the mouse driver won't load in safe mode, so you have a better chance of starting up. Then you can remove the extra software.
There are a couple of ways the mouse driver software might be installed, but try this first:
Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts
Then click once on your account name in left panel.
Then click on Login Items tab in right panel.
Then click once on the mouse driver software (if it appears in the list of startup items in the right panel).
Then click on the Minus button to remove it.

Thanks to an online post I was able to recover from an unstartable situation. And no help from Toshiba on the problem that they started.
Here is the fix that worked for me:
"The workaround I have found is to change the Boot speed setting in Bios to "normal" instead of the default "fast"
To get to the System BIOS
Press and hold the F2 button, then power on the Unit. That should bring up the BIOS, from there you should see a setting under the Advanced tab called boot speed, just set it to normal and you should be able to load windows normally.
