Updated last week, MUSIC GONE.

I updated for iTunes sometime last week. Soon thereafter, my iPod stopped working (namely it keeps telling me to plug it into the ac adaptor [which i dont have] to charge it, when i try to plug it into my USB port it wont charge) having checked every given reason this could happen, i concluded that it might be my battery and put in for a replacement. Since then, I've been relying on my iTunes w/out my iPod to enjoy my music. BUT I opened up iTunes today and all my music was gone! PLEASE HELP! CRAZY ROOMMATES ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY! MUST FIND WAY TO BLOCK THEM OUT!!

Your music files are porbably still on your PC. I suspect the iTunes Library.itl file got damaged.

    If this was your first update to iOS 7 then you were asked to CREATE a passcode. Also there would have been a small Skip button to avoid creating the passcode. If, when you encountered that request you went ahead and entered a passcode number then you must use that number to unlock your device. Once the device is unlocked you can change or delete the passcode using the Settings app.
    To completely remove the passcode lock you need to connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync with and restore the iPad. This will erase all data on the iPad so be sure your info, photos, etc. are backed up first.

  • PPro and AME crashes...all the time. When you start them up, when you work, when you export, ever since I downloaded the updates last week.

    I've been trying to edit and export timelapses I've shot in July. It's been an uphill battle since then.
    First Lr gave me mountains of issues (seems to be doing ok now) and now Ppro and AMe is doing the same. Since I've downloaded the update last week they have both just stopped working. AME doesn't even want to start up anymore. Ppro starts ok but won't export anything anymore. The is one older project that I've finished before the update. That exports fine. But any new project I've created since refuses. I'm dropping the images into a 4k sequence, the dropping the 4k sequence into a 1080 sequence so I can ad some movement. Bet even if I take the images directly to the 1080 sequence it crashes the moment I hit export.
    The timeline on this project is KILLING me! It's not supposed to take this long.
    Please help!

    Sorry to hear that. I'll raise the issue with my superiors a bit later this today. I have heard our chat software is disconnecting randomly in some cases. We are updating that system, but I can find out more later.

    If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
    Disable App Nap
    Reboot once more

    if you are subscribed to the Hardwell podcast... quickly open the Podcast app and delete the most recent Hardwell podcast from 3/22.
    for some reason that's causing the crash. i've deleted and it works fine again.

    What type of file are those fax documents? Are they PDF files? What are you using to open them with--Acrobat or Reader?
    And, what happens when you try to open them? Do you get an error message? If so, what is it?

  • Ver16.0.2..How can I get rid of an annoying pop up in the lower left of the screen that is difficult to remove. I t began with an update last week.

    The pop up appears with every new tab. It has an extremely small delete "X" icon if you can find it...The pop up interferes visually with every tab and must be carefully manually deleted each time. It is always located in the lower left bottom of the screen. It is a window about 3 inches square. It began last week with an automatic download.   • Since updates last week Firefox crashes each time open google maps even in safe mode

    Last week Firefox updated itself and there was a java update too. Since then I have been unable to access google maps within my browser, every time I get the grey background and then FF crashes. Have tried clearing cookies, safe mode, disabled the few plugins installed and a complete reinstall... same problem.

    Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
    You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

    Last week I upgraded Mavericks, Pages, Keynote and Numbers .. that's OK, then I could not open these programs. When I try, a window appears: "To open this spreadsheet must use a later version of Numbers.  You can download the latest version of Numbers from the Mac App Store.".

    When you upgraded to MAvericks and installed the latest iWork programs.  the installed moved the previous version of the iWork programs to the folder "/Applications/iWork '09"
    You are trying to open a numbers file in the new format with the previous version of Numbers.   The main thing to to be aware of what version you are running:
    Numbers:
                   2.3                                   3.0
    The previous version (2.3) is on the left and the new version (3.0) is on the right.
    The old version cannot open numbers files that are from version 3.0

    Last year upon an update some of my itunes media was not working. Then the new version came out and it fixed itself.
    Well another update and we start over with the problem. In the itunes store you can not preview any tv show, music video, or movie.
    In your itunes library none of the purchased movies, tv shows, or music videos play. The element the same is in the get info tab. The information in the right side pane in the middle is gone. The left side information is still present. The right side info is the purchase info. Even an item downloaded today had the missing info and will not play. After dealing with apple support with the first go around last year. I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 8 or more times, in the proper order. I deleted my itunes library and reinstalled it. We deleted all types of program files and program data. nothing worked. I was trying things on my own and foung nothing. Please help I am so frustrated with this. It seems to be a codec error that I can not solve.
