Hi i have updated my ipad and have some how lost safari...any ideas please.
If both the above doesn't work, try reset iPad.
Hold Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

about:config into the nav bar
toggle dom.storage.enabled to 'true'
worked for me - but don't know what it does or why :) -
I just downloaded the latest software to my iPad and now I find I am in private browsing in safari however when I go to settings/safari there is no option listed to disable pyrite browsing, help
Tap the + in the upper right corner. You should then see a link for Private in teh lower left. tap that to escape private browsing.

I suspect that you are looking at the Recent section. Your can switch to Local (for the files & folders stored on your iPad/iPhone) or Document Cloud (for the files & folders stored in the Adobe Document Cloud, formerly Acrobat.com) to find your "lost" files.

I've done recent ios update on my IPad (2nd gen.) and now game center has stopped connecting. Just goes to blank white screen. I have synced 4 times and turned IPad on and off several times. when I try to connect to Apple support it tells me that i must have current safari browser. Yet when I sync to my MAC it tells me all is up to date with current ios.

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

I just downloaded my latest update and my Ipad just defaults to my home screen. I was reading a book on Overdrive before t.he download and whe I now Tory to open it just. Takes me to mt home screen. The same with Safari. Any thoughts.
Try a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously you see the Apple logo and then release.

Since updating my iPad 2 to ios8, it safari has been slow and crashing and some of the apps acting wierd. The password app doesn't work at all so had to find another way of retrieving all my passwords. Very very dissapointing. It appears from these forums that a lot of people are having the same problems wit this latest update.

Actually the Licensing information for the package is missing hence it is not launching any applications. You need to Reserialize the products using APTEE which you can find it on the Machine where you have created the package. If you dont have the access to that Machine then please download and install Creative Cloud Packager and it will download APTEE in the below mentioned location.
Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP\utilities
Once downloaded please follow this KB article to use the Tool.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

So I just updated to the newest update that was available for safari and iTunes but now it won't let me go on the Internet using safari and it also won't let me sync my songs ,,,,,(it takes forever to backup my iPad AND my iPod) so what can I do ?

This worked for me an hour ago and has allowed me to sync ok. Still haven't tried downloading the new version 5 to the phone yet as I'm still backing up photos etc just in case.
1. Quit itunes
2. Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> right click Command Prompt -> Run as Administrator)
3. Once in the command prompt type the following 3 words starting where your cursor is flashing: netsh winsock reset
4. press ENTER
5. Reboot your machine
6. Restart itunes & connect device to sync

I changed my email address and therefore changed my Apple ID and password on my Mac. Now when i want to use iCloud on my iPad and my iPhone my old email comes up as my Apple ID and I cant log in or update any apps on my iPhone or iPad. Can you help me?

Just updated to ios 5 and now my computer can not find iphone or ipad

correction to my last remark....... resetting my iphone worked, now it show up as digital camera again. However resetting the ipad 2s didnt do anything. I dont know if this is an ipad2 thing or not. This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

If you moved them to your iPad then they will have been removed from your Mac. If they are no longer in the iPad's Videos app following the update then you will need to try contacting iTunes support and see if they will let you re-download them : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

That indicates that it's gone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you will need to do as the image shows and connect it to your computer's iTunes, you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it.
