Updated my Lightroom to version 5.7 [991162]. But I keep getting the screen that a new versio is available.

After a notice of a new update for Lightroom I downloaded and installed the new version, 5.7 [991162].
This new version is showing when clicking at the System Info bar in Lightroom. But every time I start
Lightroom I get a pop-up that a new version 5.7 [991162] is available. I also don't get to see the new
releases like HDR merging in my menu when clicking on the Photo tab.

HDR merge is in LR6. you will need to install that one if you need it.

You may see that message below the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old Firefox default home page. That page is no longer being maintained by Google.
You should try changing your home page to:
about:home
If you don't know how to change the home page, you should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].

Boy sure what you are doing but the current iOS level is 7.1 not 7.0.4.

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

You must have had find my iPhone on, or it was locked by your phone carrier.
Call your our cell carrier first.
then log on to a computer to iCloud to erase your iPhone.
NOW... You will be able to setup with a backup.

You have both your older iWork apps and the newer Maverick apps on your computer.
The new Maverick apps are in the Applications folder.
The older iWork apps are in the Applications/iWork folder.
Of the two, the older iWork apps are more useful so don't throw them out.

This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

Hi Linc, thanks for this ... it is weird, we tried this previously, but we only did a restart.
This morning our Mac was 'off' even though we hadn't turned it off, (maybe a power outage) I restarted and ran the calpatch immediately, and it worked !!
it is embarrassing, because as a service engineer, I am always telling customers to restart and even power down completely before trying again.
