Updated - now have lost apps centre and all apps an can't get them back on

I just updated to ios5 and have this icloud thing, but now I don't have my apps centre or any of my apps on my phone. I have tried to sync but the apps area on itunes does not let me do anything, its like it is frozen on my page. If I go to apps on the left hand side I can see them but I can't get them back on my phone or update them.....I am wondering if the icloud thing is the problem because I don't have wi-fi...PLEASE HELP!

I did have the apps button on my iphne screen from the very time i purchased it, it had the apps 'A' symbol and I could go into that to download apps onto my phone without having to connect to PC and going through Itunes...however now it doesn't exist. Yes I have tried restarting both the phone and the PC, Syncing, resetting Uby way of hitting both buttons on phone for a reboot etc. Yu know when you are in Itunes and you can go into your screen and move your apps from page to page or delete etc, well that page is totally frozen and I won't let me even click on it anymore. I have deleted and re download itunes and all of the apps.But still nothing, the apps are blurred on my screen and state - waiting

My version of Firefox was mafunctioning so I uninstalled it and loaded the latest version. Didn't realize that all of my Bookmarks would get wiped out and I never thought to back them up beforehand. Not so smart. It will take hours to replace all of them. Wondering if there is an easy way to get them back, such as doing a system restore on my PC to gain access to my old Firefox version and then backing them up before uninstalling it once again. I have Windows 7 with 64-bit if that makes any difference. Any advice for a novice appreciated.

Did you remove personal data when you uninstalled Firefox?
If you did there your bookmarks and other personal data in all profiles folders was removed and is lost.

The only ways to get them back are to sync with your iCloud account, if you have one set up with your contact and messages being backed up there, or to sync with your computer that you use to backup your iPhone data and apps.

Iphone apps, photos, and contacts gone. Can I get them back or do I have to add apps back?

I update my Iphone 4 today and it seemed to update fine until I looked on my phone and noticed not all of my apps were there and my contacts are from back in May. Nothing else such as pictures moved either. Is there some way to get this stuff back or Do I have to download apps again and be charged?
I also tried to do the restore but the last date was in May?

Hi megamike1969,
I've been losing some apps also in the Dock. As Niel said I think is that you may be able to just drag them back to the Dock, if you can find them.
What I do is open Launchpad and while you're in there, drag the application to the Dock. If you can't locate the apps, then disregard this post.

You can get your information back if you have previously done a backup in iTunes or iCloud.

Yes, go to your 'iTunes Store' app on your iPhone or whatever device you lost them on, then go to the 'more' tab, and choose 'purchased', then find your ringtones that you wanted and redownload them, you won't need to repay for them.

What does this mean?
How did you try to import those pics?
You import pics from iphone just as you would from any digital camera. They are not part of the sync process at all.
I am trying to figure out what exactly you did.
Bottom line is that the pics are gone unless you have a backup of your iphone on your computer from a time when the pics were on the iphone.
In the future you should be importing your pics to your computer regularly.

Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.
1. You don't need to.
2. Settings->Cellular->"Use Cellular Data For" will show the data usage for each App since the last statistics reset
3. Settings->General->Background App Refresh Will show which Apps are allowed to get data in the background
4. It restricts it to Wifi. If the App requires internet access and Data is turned off, it will have to wait until the device is connected to a wifi network.

#Now in Firefox you are unable to view your bookmarks
Is that the issue? If so, it is unlikely that a connectivity issue has caused this problem. Also, can you please confirm if you have enabled Firefox Sync?

If you have the installation disc for iLife and MS Office, then you can install it from there. With iPhoto, if you downloaded it from the Mac App Store, you can redownlad it fron the "Purchases" tab.

I have absolutely no toolbars and don't know how to get them back.

I hid my "File/Edit/History/etc..." toolbar by right-clicking and un-checking it. I accidentally did the same thing with my navigation toolbar and now I have no toolbars and can't get them back. I have tried to right-click but because there are no longer any toolbars, it won't open the toolbar menu it gave me before. Depending where I click I either get the tabs menu or the options to Close, Minimize, or Maximize my screen. I tried closing the window and opening a new one but that didn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and that didn't help, either. I am out of ideas, what can I do?

Does Firefox switch to full screen if you press F11 ?
You can also try the F10 key to see if that brings up the menu bar.

You have to do a full restore to your device to get things from iCloud. You can't pick and choose.
In addition, from what I've read, you can't get anything back to the camera roll, if that's where you stored some of your files. The camera roll is temporary storage untill you sync photos and videos to your computer. If you used Photo Stream, then iCloud syncs new pictures from your iPhone to all other devices that are set to sync Photo Stream. But there's a limit to how many pictures per month (I think 1000) and iCloud saves photos for 30 days, so the other devices have time to sync to get the photos. But there's no way to get them out of iCloud in Photo Stream in case you lost all the pictures on your devices.

What happens now, when you open iPhoto? Are the photos not showing in the library or iPhoto still crashing?
What is your current iPhoto version?
If you imported the photos into iPhoto, but are no longer seeing them after the crash, try if rebuilding your iPhoto library will find the photos inside the library. Rebuilding might collect them in a "recovered" event.
