Updated OS10.6.8, laptop has 2 user accounts and now Firefox crashes for only one of two users every time at start-up. Other user runs FF fine

Everything was running with 2 user accounts. Did sw updates incl. OS 10.6.8. Now the master account runs properly, including FF 12.0 however the 2nd account now crashes every time FF is launched. WIll not launch in safe mode either. This report is being submitted from the other account that still runs FF properly. Also downloaded FF to reinstal but a warning that I was installing OLDER version - even though I just downloaded the 'current' version. All this seems quite unexplainable! What's up???

Ok so you want Apple to address the problem, but yet you don't want to take it to them just in case they can't fix it? What if they can fix it? Complaining here certainly won't fix it.

Current crashes do not even produce crash reports, but two crashes from earlier today did yield:

Starting in safe mode shows the same installed plugins and two extensions that are enabled in profiles for other users on this system. It is only this user's Firefox that crashes on startup, even after a reset.
Have also uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. Again, it crashes on startup only for this user.
Windows event viewer does have several entries for an Application Error:
Faulting application name: plugin-container.exe, version: 32.0.3.5379, time stamp: 0x54224e6b
Faulting module name: mozalloc.dll, version: 32.0.3.5379, time stamp: 0x54221b67
Exception code: 0x80000003
but it's not clear that these entries sync up with the crashes.
This crashing on startup began this morning; no new software or any other system modifications (that I'm aware of) for several weeks now.

The hardware acceleration setting appears to be the culprit. After unchecking the Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available" setting, Firefox no longer crashes on startup.
Initially I'd glossed over this setting since it isn't an issue for any of the other users on this system. I'm still puzzled as to why this would be an issue only for this user, and what had changed as of this morning that set it off, but obviously there's something about their configuration which triggers this situation, even for the default plain vanilla Firefox profile!

Yes, you can delete them from your phone by tapping the icon until it jiggles, then tap the black x. You can verify that your Apple ID is still correct for future purchased by going to Settings>Store>Apple ID (at the bottom). If it's wrong, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using your ID. Then you should be good to go.

PPro crashes for only one user

We run Adobe CC 2013 on a Dell T7600, 32MB RAM, K5000 GPU. Lots of internal storage. Two identical systems have been running like a champ since 12/2013.
Long story as to why we're on CC 2013. Suffice it to say it still runs great, except for one user.
Ppro crashes every time they try to open an existing project. The rest of us can log on and open them without difficulty.
No recent installs of anything. THe user in question is a reliable user who doesn't do dumb things. All other users have no difficulty.
We have tried having them start PPro with the ALT+SHIFT key. We have deleted all Media Cache files for all users.

I would suggest two things:
Rename the 'Adobe' folder in your Documents library to 'OldAdobe' and then try to open the project. If it fails, then
Create a new project, without importing anything go to Window > Workspace > Uncheck 'Import Workspace from Projects' . Then go to Window > Workspace > Reset current workspace. Save the project. Then see if it works.

Updated to ISO7 2 days ago on my 4S and Now No Sound for Music, Keyboard or screen actions

Hey, Not sure if there is a fix for this but today suddenly my 4S with the new update wont play music, I don't have audio for my videos I recorded and it don't play any actions sounds like screen lock. It will ring when called, play memo's, Siri speaks and speaker phone works. I tried hard reboot, standard reboot and backing up but nothing has helped. The odd part is when I go into my music and it shows playing the volume bar is ghosted. Once after playing memos I went into music and it wasn't ghosted but at about a quarter volume and I raised it to half but the dot dissapeared and nothing happened. I then closed it and reopened it and it was ghosted again. Clearly this is a software glitch but not sure how to get my tunes back. Any suggestions? Thanks

I upgraded to Firefox 5.0 when prompted yesterday. Since then, whenever I try to click on the browser bar, Firefox crashes. I can use Firefox using the Google search bar and clicking on links, but as soon as I try to enter a URL in the browser bar, it crashes.

Simply go to:
1.View 2.Select tool bars 3. Uncheck any of the toolbars below: a. Babylon toolbar b. Softonic Eng 7 Community tool bar!
4.Finish.... if nothing happened try to unchechked other tool bars.

What happened to the ability to bookmark multiple tabs in one click? As far as I can tell, the new Firefox has dropped this option and now forces you to create a folder, individually bookmark every page and organize the bookmarks yourself.

Clean install of Firefox on clean install of Win7 x86. Previous bookmarks lost due to hdd crash. Trying to configure Firefox 4 like my previous Firefox 3 and finding it difficult. This was my favorite feature of the previous Firefox and I'm dismayed that it's either gone or well-hidden.

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only show up if you use the keyboard to open the menu. Bookmark All Tabs is one of them and you see that entry if you use Alt + B to open the Bookmarks menu. You can see the same if you use Alt + F to open the File menu instead of pressing Alt and click the menu entry.

Listen. This service is, has been and seemingly will be: FREE. So while emotions are running on the hot side of the guage, let's remember; it is FREE. Adobe owes no one anything. Now who's to blame, really? We, the people are to blame. Why? Because everyone has been ok with the fact that one company essentially designed and released a technology for streaming from the net. One company. And almost all of us are using this one company's technology to stream; for FREE.

We all never saw the ridiculously high potential for this one company to screw things up, intentionally or otherwise? What the ramifications, that we are now experiencing, might be? It's like this country [US], up until four-years ago. In iTunes 11 uncheck the preferences setting in in the iTunes Preferences panel "Advanced > Copy Files to iTunes Media folder when adding to Library"

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and press the problem. Elevate to store manager if necessary. Maybe the charging circuits are defective resulting in overcharging which is causing the battery problem.
