Updated to 5.0 any ideas how to get the OTHER back
When I updated to 5.0 my OTHER SPACE used went to 7.2 gigs... any way to get that
space back.
- A reset may work and you lose nohing by trying.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next, restoring from backup works if the other is not in the backup
- Last, a restore to factory defaults/new iPod always works.

I loaded my ipad photos from camera and all the pictures sorted by date. I later sync my ipad with my computer and the photos were all reorganized into IMPRT folders an out of date sequence. Any idea how to put the photos back into date files other than reloading all of them from camera?
What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are as follows - checking after each one to see if the problem is resolved:
Power your iPad off and on.
A reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPad's backup.
Restore your iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from your iPad's backup. -
I had a group account on mobileme...a family pack that each of us at work had an individual account and we all shared one account in the family. It kept our work calendar- a schedule telling who is in the office and who is on call. This is still on my macBook but not on my phone or my iPad. Any idea how I make my phone show the calendars on my MacBook? It was there before I went to iCloud.
If your email account offers a webmail access, I suggest checking the webmail - log in to your account using the webmail access, and I predict you will see all those "unread" emails there and can dispose of them from there.
This happens because the iPhone that went bad, when reading those emails, did not remove them from your email provider's servier. -
My son has done something to his ipad2 and now his touch screen does not work so he can't get from the lock screen as the screen isn't responding to touch. Any idea I can't even switch it off to restart.
Try a Reset...

If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

as I stated. the white in any file I open in PS s a warm white. I don't know how this happened or how to fix it. I do know it is not my PC or moniter. Only in PS. any hepl is appriciated, thanks, P
My5cats, Cris may have more to add but here are some thoughts. A calibrated monitor does have warm whites. We perceive a blue white as being correct but it isn't. i don't know if you are using monitor calibration or not. One possible area is that Photoshop is set to a paper or some other gamut. You can check (in PS) by going to the Edit menu > Color settings. Here is a picture of mine. I set the working space to sRGB which is used for the web and many printers. If you get a correct setting , consider saving it.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? Any ideas how to get my software updated on my IPOD 3rd Generation when my computer times out? I have tried several times and it appears to take 30 plus hours. How Frustrating, not to mention the kids are too!
If the iTunes purchases are not in your iTunes library you can redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you restore from backup, not that synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup and thus if those items are not in the iTunes library they can't be restored to the iPod during the latter part of the restore process. -
When I try to update two certain apps in the App Store, I get a message that says 'cannot connect to iTunes store'. Any idea how to get these apps to update?

When launching Illustrator on Mac OSX 10.9 I get an error that the program is no longer supported on PowerPC. I tried moving the plug-ins to a different folder as the Adobe site suggested but no luck. Any ideas how to get this launched again? Same issue for Photoshop and InDesign
You will need to uninstall, run the Cleaner tool and reinstall you adobe applications. Adobe apps don't take kindly to inplace updates of the OS on Macs.

Leave feedback for Apple at www.apple.com/feedback, or contact your email provider. It's the email providers that give that info to Apple, so both parties need to be updated.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.
