Updated to 5.1.2 and now I can't open my project file

The upgraded FCP opens if I open it without the job, but if I try to open job it goes into spinning beach ball mode and never recovers. Please help! I am trying to make Sundance Fest deadline (tomorrow!). I had to upgrade in order to see some last minute footage, but stupidly didn't make a backup of 5.1. Reinstalling is not an option.

Error Codes and Now I can't Open my Muse File-HELP!

Hello-
I've been building my site for four weeks now. I keep my muse file and all my photos etc. on an external hard drive. It's all been going well until I try to open my site/Muse file and it says error code 36 and error code 43. It says some data is missing or requried items can't be found. I have no idea what happened. I uploaded my site to the FTP last night. Then I closed down Muse and shut down my Mac. Today when I tried to access my Muse file it's won't open. I am frightened I've lost all my work and my business web site.
Any help or advice would be much appricated!

I just installed reader XI and now I can't open any PDF files that follows mail.

It worked fine with the old version of Acrobat Reader I had.
I get the message:
There was an error opening this document. Access denied.
What is happening and how can I fix it? Please help me.

Go to: Edit > Preferences...
Click on "General" in the left pane.
Uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at startup"
You will prompted with a dialog box to remind you to close the application for the change to go into effect. Click Yes.
Click OK to save your change.

I wanted to change some content of a website i made last year. Now i can't open the project files anymore.
Error Message:
"The File cannot be opened"
"Die File is already opened in another Version of MUSE"
( translated from German)
This happens to all my muse Files.
What can i do?

Hi,
Kindly copy your file to the desktop, and then try opening the copied file with Muse.
Let me know if that works.

I updated to Safari 6.1 and now it freezes when opened

Yesterday I updated to Safari 6.1 and now it freezes when opened, although the overall system stays up. I updated to the latest Java and iTunes 11.1.2 at the same time. When I open Safari now, it pauses for a few seconds without going to the home page and then I get the spinning beach ball. I get two messages: One says that the plug-in for SplashID Safe has not been tested with this version of Safari (a message that I had been getting before the update and never caused a problem). The other message says, "Crash Protection It appears that Safari didn't quit properly. Do you want Glims to re-open your tabs anyway?" It gives me a choice to click "Cancel" or "OK". I have tried clicking them (before the beach ball appears) and it makes no difference. The version of Glims I am running is out-of-date.
The only available crash report is almost a month old and therefore is of no help.
I made a back-up with SuperDuper just before updating and can reverse the update if I do it soon, but I would like to get this working.
I would appreciate any advice.

Hi,
USB recovery disk was used to recover your system when it encounter problem. You can try to use it to fix your problem instead reinstall system. However, there is no method to keep your program whenreinstall system.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

The shuffle setting in the main menu will shuffle through the entire library as you have found out.
You need to go to settings>shuffle this will toggle through off/song/album. Once you have set this it will stay the same until you change the setting.
Now when you start playing a song in a playlist the iPod will shuffle through that playlist (or if you select your song through artist then it will shuffle through all the songs for that artist etc)

Also when I do the system update it's not giving me an update for the latest Snow Leopard. I never knew that was available until I started looking around this site and it seems that since I have the internal dual core I should be able to update to mountian lion...is this correct?
