Updated to 7.3.1, PC and Xbox 360 can't connect

Hey, anyone else having problems getting PCs and Xbox 360s to connect to the AirPort Extreme after the 7.3.1 update? Wired or wireless, my PC (Vista, with and without SP1) and my Xbox 360 (with the official wireless network adapter) won't connect.

I am in the same boat...
7.2 worked great... 7.3.1 does not even show in the network list. Also, downgrading it does not fix the issue?!?!?

My MacBook is too old and can't be updated to Mountain Lion as it is early 2008 white MacBook.
It all worked perfectly prior to updating the iPad 2 to OS7.
There were no cautions or warnings
Are there any work arounds?
Can I uninstall OS7 and go back to OS6?
Rediculous thing is I can connect to iTunes on an old PC of the same age

I think I will just move across to a PC as a result of this Apple strategy and I think I will just give up on Apples short lived product strategy.
A laptop that lasts five years indicates a long lived product strategy. Where they go wrong is to prevent backwards strategy when someone genuinely cannot live with ios7 like you. even the "unsupported" downgrade has now been blocked.
Don't go windows, you will not get five good years from a dell or an asus. If you can't buy Mountain Lion for it, get a new macbook, enjoy.

E2000 and XBox 360 Wifi Failed Connection

my new e2000 is connected to the internet and works for the IPAD (wifi) and desktop pc (wired), while our new xbox 360 with built in wifi recognizes the e2000, but wont connect so I can get xbox live. I spent 2 hours with xbox and cisco support. the error message continues to tell me there is an internet connection issue. I've followed all the help online and via phone support and then Cisco wants me to pay $70 for third party assistance to guarantee connection. It seems that the xbox should require me to enter the e2000 password to connect, but I have yet had a place to prompt me to enter it. How do I get these two systems to talk? It's either an xbox setting or a cisco setting that I can't figure out. Any help will be appreciated. Do I need to buy the e3000?

Click Applications and Gaming Center Tab
Click Port Range Trigger
Ex:
Application name: xbox1, xbox2
xbox1--enter port 3074 on all 4 boxes and click enable
xbox2--enter 10280 on start box and 10284 on end box, same for the other 2 boxes and click enable.
Enter all number and on the applications boxes and save

Xbox 360 can't connect to old airport when WEP key is on. HELP !

I used to be able to use my Xbox 360 on my old airport extreme but since adding a WEP key to my airport the xbox can't get an IP adress but can see the airport. What can i do ? Has anyone else had this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Iphone 4 Video and Xbox 360 as my PC's Windows Media Center

I noticed that all video formats play perfectly over my Xbox 360 except for video shot with my iphone 4. It plays the video in slow motion while the audio is at regular speed. It's very annoying. Is their a fix for this or do I just need to convert the iphone 4 videos to h264 mp4, or regular mp4? Any quick fixes so I don't have to do the converting? When I play them on my HP they play just fine. I'm assuming it has something to do with the Xbox 360 not having an updated codec. Any ideas will be tried.

I'm in the same Xbox 360 boat. I'm also amazed at the lack of information on this problem since the iPhone 4 has been out so long and the Xbox 360 received an update long after.
It has to be a codec issue since the Xbox 360 can play 1080p content. The iPhone 4 720p video can't be more intensive than 1080p.
While I'm at it why can't the Xbox 360 play iTunes Plus and iTunes Lossless audio, they're DRM free (I use Connect360 to get around the issue)? Seriously, Microsoft has to be doing it on purpose. Every attempt I've made to get this question answered has been met with a MS wall.

IMovie and Xbox 360

iMovie 08 (and probably 09)cannot share movies on the media centre in full 1920x1080p mode. SUPPOSEDLY...the XBOX 360 can. Also supposedly, the Xbox does support h.264. There are other postings here on how to take an iMovie project and export it using the 'Export using Quicktime' option to export it in full 1920x1080p resolution. However, when I copy that movie to a USB key, plug it into the Xbox, it won't read it saying I need some kind of media update. I've got the most recent updates.
Does anyone have any wonderful ideas on this?

It looks like all that was needed to be done was connect to the internet and have an XBOX live account. Although the unit should have had the latest drivers or firmware or whatever by downloading it onto a CD and installing, it didn't work. It seems the only way to get the latest drivers onto the thing is to have Xbox live active.
However, now that it 'works', I'm not real happy with the results. Sure, my 1920x1080 movie plays on the Xbox, but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as if I plug the camera directly into the TV. I'm not sure what the problem is.
Back to my previous point that the best solution is if Apple gets Apple TV to work with today's high def TV sets.

Before the reset quit Pages like this:
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.

All that you had to do was to sign into the old account in order to update those apps. What I mean is that you just needed to sign into that account in the store settings like I described and that should have worked. You didnt need to enter the credit card information again - you justed needed to use the old ID and password.
Anyway, I think the good news is that if everything else is OK with the new account, just download iBooks with the new ID - it's a free app so its not like you have to pay for it again. I'm not sure what the other App is that you are talking about - but if it is the Apple Store App - that is free as well.
Try this anyway, when you try to update iBooks, just use the old password if the old ID still pops up.
Did you try signing into the store settings with your new ID and see what happens with the updates then?

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
