Updated to FireFox 11 and I keep getting "checking compatibility of add-on" when I start the browser.

I just updated to FireFox 11 and whenever I start the browser, I get that annoying window that checks for the compatibility of add-ons.
I have looked around for solutions and have tried the following:
1. Deleting several extension files from the profile folder.
2. Going to about:config to disable the extension:checkcompatibility (does not exist there).
None of these worked.

Did you try to delete the file prefs.js?

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

There have been a few reports on here where Corsair RAM seems to have caused users a lot of grief with crashes.
The recommendation on here, mostly, is to only buy RAM from macsales.com or crucial.com as they guarantee their modules will work and offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee.
I'd put the original RAM back in, return the Corsair chips for a refund and re-order from one of those two companies.

iTunes places the iPhone backup in the following location. Navigate there & delete everything in the backup folder, but not the folder itself. You will have to turn on "Show All Hidden Files & Folders" to see it:

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

After update to Firefox 6.0 two websites are opening Welcome/Upgrade requests whenever I open the browser

I found that " Read it Later" and " Lat Pass" are inveriably opening webpages whenever I open Firefox. This is annoying.
Being disgusted I have ultimately uninstalled Firefox - though I have been using it for over 5 years.
Another point - what is the point of version updates, where several Add-ons are incompatiable. Further the speed with which the browser opens is after all these updates remains alnost the same. There are other browsers having superior speed-
Chrome or Opera. I note that even IE 8 is opening faster.
