Updated to firefox 4,now unable to download youtube videos using realplayer as i did previous using 3.6?
when using firefox 3.6 it was fine and the settings in realplayer were set up the same aswell,but since updating to firefox 4 i wont let me download videos still.
Very easy:
1) Go to Add-on Mozilla page witch is:

2) Then choose in the left colom downloadmanager witch is
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/extensions/download-management/
3) Finally choose Easy You Tube Video or:
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-downl-10137/
Install the add-on from now on you'll be able to download you're .flv streams.
How to do this: under the videobox you see thumb up / thumb down, Add to, shair from NOW ON don't use the realplayer tab nolonger
INSTEAD you use "DOWNLOAD AS"

With latest version of Flashplayer - unable to download streaming video with realplayer
The latest version of Adobe flashplayer (11.5) was loaded today (nov 9, 2012). As a result, using either IE9 or Firefox, I was unable to download streaming videos using Realplayer, where it was set up by "Download the Video". I had no trouble with Flashplayer 11.4, although I had the same problem with Flashplayer 11.3.
Good comments by Hicks. While I an not as anti-iMovie '08 as many others appear to be, I really agree with both his assessment of the product and some of his distribution ideas. However, rather than the simple 2-tier product recommendation he presented, I would personally like to see a renamed version of the current iMovie '08 product be distributed as a free application to users and keep all of the DV based editors as a part of the current 3-tier iLife (which can be purchased by users who wish more editing/plug-in compatibility at a moderate price but are not willing to invest the money or time to use of FCE), FCE "prosumer", and FCE/Studio true profession editing packages purchased according to individual user needs.
As we have seen in the past, innovations introduced by FCE frequently filter their way down to lower level software as enhancements over time. In addition, we have also seen a number of the new iMovie '08 developments being adapted to other applications as the means and processes are developed to do so. Frankly, I am curious to see where all these new innovations may lead given the opportunity for further development. -

unable to download youtube videos-downloads fine on other browsers. What cause? installed anonymox week b4 prob. also unable 2 fig out how to uninstall anonymox - when click on tools -> add-ons, directs me 2 ur website.
I hv just discovered my G5 OSX 10.4.11 with updated Safari4.0.5 will not work with Flash Player.
Of course it will or these forums would be full of users screaming that Flash no longer works with Tiger!
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe. -

Since I updated to Firefox 5.0 , I am unable to download YOUTUBE Videos through RealPlayer...that download Icon has disappeared. I opened I.E. and guess what! I can still download through them...however I absolutely HATE I.E. and love Firefox.

I'm confused as to why when I had only my Windows Media Player with a plain Adobe I could watch all videos and such, and now suddenly I can't watch them unless I install the Adobe Flash Player and a number of other programs too???
I try to avoid using up so much more memory as programs take, as my computer is pretty old (though works well) and it doesn't have much capacity for installing more memory.

Please connect your device to Nokia Suite and reinstall the current firmware from the updates tab. If that does not do the trick, please fully back up your data (Tools > Back up). And hard reset device: type *#7370# on the keypad. Default lock code is 12345.

Have recently updated Adobe Reader and now unable to open downloaded documents - Message received is could not open 'file name.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). When I check the file it shows Zero KB downloaded but the file appears - any suggestions?

Where does AOL show up -- home page?
I think the first thing to check is whether you have any AOL-related add-ons. These might override your regular settings. You can review and disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions here:

Note that in most cases, you need to use the Restart Firefox link to actually deactivate the extension you chose to disable.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Try updating Firefox if this fails check flash then try uninstalling and reinstaling both Firefox first using Firefox sync to backup favorites etc first then if this fails try display apt-get update Firefox if this doesn't work then the month upgrade is conflicting with firefox

When i try to update an app it says unable to download at this time. No matter how many time i do it. But then i tried to delete an app then redownload it to see if it will let me but i cant download it either it has the same error! HELP!!!
Rebooting will not make you lose any content. Rebooting is when you hold the home button and the sleep button down at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
You can these suggestions. One might work for you.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream. -

I used to watch and download YouTube videos on Firefox. Since yesterday, videos have stopped loading, and an error message is shown saying videos can't be played. When I click on the download button, a new page pops up (which never used to happen before) which says "Server not found: Firefox can't find the server at r12---sn-h557sne7.googlevideo.com."
I have tried almost all suggestions found in various forums. The problem is not yet rectified. Its irritating.You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
