Updated to Firefox 9, now it gives me a blank white screen. What's going on ?
I upgraded to Firefox 9. When backup was done it gave me a blank white screen with tool bar at the top. I thought maybe it needed "backing up your info" so I did that, still no Firefox screen. I rebooted the computer, still no screen. I can go to "Most Visited" and select Firefox, and it will go back to old Firefox screen that says I don't have the latest update. What's going on ?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

k when i double click on the fire fox short cut on my desk top or the tab under the start button, my firefox gives me a blank white screen with the phase " new tab" on the top left hand corner as if u clicked for another window. My ipod will just give me a blank white screen
I'm having trouble with my ipod, I just downloaded a new update to my ipod, and my ipod just reset itself, and when the screen came back on it gave me just a white screen... I still have that white screen at the moment, and when I reset it will give me a quick three beeps and then a couple of seconds later the white screen will come back on, what should I do

Ah ha, that old chestnut! There is a problem with the Updater - I had the similar thing happen, and I see others have too. It's possible the iPod lost communication with the computer or the update just finished incorrectly.
Let your battery drain right down. Then charge it up....prob a couple of hours at least. Once you've done that, reset it...
Hold down SELECT and MENU at the same time to reset the iPod; immediately after the screen goes dark, switch to holding down SELECT and PLAY/PAUSE. Keep pressing for ten seconds or so to be sure; the screen should remain dark. After a bit you can connect the iPod to the computer and things should be normal again. You may have to try this a couple of times - see how it goes.

I have had Firefox installed on my computer since new (two years). I recently received an "update Firefox" message on my computer. When I clicked "yes" I now get nothing but a blank, black screen. Downloaded update for Firefox and now I can't get rid of AOL. I have tried to delete anything associated with AOL and when restart Firefox.....there's AOL again. I even reinstalled Firefox.......there it was again.
Where does AOL show up -- home page?
I think the first thing to check is whether you have any AOL-related add-ons. These might override your regular settings. You can review and disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions here:

Note that in most cases, you need to use the Restart Firefox link to actually deactivate the extension you chose to disable.

I have just recently updated my Firefox and now when I try to get on firefox it just keeps trying to load and then says it has stopped responding. I have uninstalled it and then re-installed it, this didn't help. Now have to use Internet Explore cause firefox wont work!

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer regularly. Your contacts will be in whatever program you have chosen to sync. Just sync them back
