Updated to Hotsync Manager 7.02 and now I can't sync my Dataviz Smartlist-to-go with access!

I've email Dataviz with the problem but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue..
I just recently purchased a Treo 680 to replace my aging Tungsten E. Everything worked fine but I could not get the Palm software to sync with Outlook 2003. Palm Customer support had me wipe out any palm software on my desktop and then install the newest version.. [Palm Desktop 6.2.2 and hotsync Manager 7.02)..
That fixed that problem (outlook conduits not working)..
I then re-installed my Dataviz software (documents to go, beyond contacts, smartlist to go).. The other two seem to work fine, but SLTG (Smart List To Go) will not sync with ANY access database (even a simple one I created for testing purposes)
It will sync with the SLTG desktop, but I always get an error if I try and sync it with Access..
Error from the Hotsync manager says "An error occurred while trying to sync the SmartList database TD2_test: The schema of this databse has been modified. The sync configuration is no longer valid."
I've tried everything, and every setting..
i'm guessing, but I get the feeling the updated Hotsync Manager is no longer compatible with SLTG???

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Community Forums.
i'm guessing, but I get the feeling the updated Hotsync Manager is no longer compatible with SLTG???
I suppose that's possible but I doubt it, since it synchronizes fine with the SLTG desktop (mine does too, with my Centro). However, I haven't set up an Access sync in a long time, and have *not* tried it with the new Palm Desktop 6.2.
Dataviz's support site has a pretty decent Knowledgebase of articles, and here is one which addresses that particular error message. It suggests that you re-map the fields from the SLTG desktop...don't know if that would apply to your problem if it's a brand new database you just created for this issue. It also suggests you check for Windows updates as there is one which is needed by SLTG to interface with Access...maybe your deletion and reinstallation of SLTG did something there. I dunno enough about those processes.
Oh, and another support option to explore is a fairly active SmartList To Go group at Yahoo! Groups.   You should be able to read Messages without joining the group, but to post a question there you would have to subscribe to the group.
Good luck.
