Updated to ios 6 and now when i go to the app store and try to check out my purchased it try to load the information but after about 20-25 seconds nothing loads and the app crashes. Im not sure if its because i have at least 600 apps in the cloud.

My iPhone 4 has the same problem. Other people I know have similar issues. Other threads in the forum have commented that there could be a problem with the screen proximity sensor that is triggered by your ear being near or touching the on-screen mute or speaker button. They claim that an external case or a screen protector could cause the proximity sensor to malfunction, or possibly the screen needs to be cleaned. I tried putting a non-conductive thin cover over the phone, and it did not help. In my opinion, the phone works as designed. Other than switching to another brand phone or Apple fixing it with a functional iOS update versus a pretty iOS update, I've only found one solution, which is to use a headphone/microphone or a hands-free device. Of course, using a headphone/microphone is often inconvenient.

after updating to ios 8.0.2 .when i'm unlocking the mobile wallpaper dont display . its shows only network and battery status .
then i need to switch off and switch the iphone. per day i'm doing this for 3 times.

If you are having issues with your iPhone such as you describe, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

I recently updated to the iOS 8. I have an iphone 5. My phone states that the update is almost finished. I just need to provide the password to my apple ID. However, the apple ID its asking for is no longer being used. For the life of me, I can't remember what that password was. It offers me the option of skipping the step, and when I choose that option, it basically just resets and I start from the beginning again. I then try to reset the password by try clicking "Forgot my Password" When I try resetting it by email, I don't receive any of the emails that prompt the password change. When I choose security question, it asks my birthday and the birthday I type in doesn't work. I am unable to use my phone, other than receiving calls. I made an appointment with the Apple Store, but I really can't wait until Friday to use my phone. HELP
Not an answer: similar problem. Some time ago the email address service that was my apple id was take from the market, so I had to introduce a new one on my Iphone 4S, Mac air and Ipod. I was able to do so on the other devises, but the iPad doesn't allow me, I go into the same vicious circle: I can only get a new ID if I can enter, which I only can if I enter in the old ID, which password is not working (I cannot imagine where it went wrong), to get a new password I either get it sent to the old email account which does not exist anymore, or with my birthday security answer which is denied (very strange, I do remember my birthday, I swear). So.......... anyone more clever then me (or Bignickel)? HELP

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

I have restarted my computer, but the information remains the same. How do I reclaim the use of the 300GB? Why is it showing up as "Backups" when it used to indicate "Photos"? Are my photos safe on the external drive?
You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots. -
Just downloaded Yosemite on my Mac and the Yosemite update for Garage Band. Now when I open an existing Garage Band project and click on a vocal track, a message window says, "Could not find General Audio 10" and have no smart controls for that track (reverb, etc.) Help?

Try this: Go to your menu bar, select "Garageband" and then "Restore Sound Library..."
It can take awhile to download as it's a pretty big library. You might need to also select "Update Sound Library..." after the restore is done. -
I backed up my Iphone to itunes so i can do the new Update to IOs 7 and so now that i updated it i want to backup and restore and its not working, Please help!
An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. my photos won't "load" - it has worked fine for at least two years, but suddenly now when I plug in the chip, iPhoto opens up as usual, but the window just says "loading photos", and the little wheel keeps on spinning - can anyone help me?? What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

My iPod was updating to iOS 6 and i shut it off during the update because it was taking too long and now my screen in baby blue i've tried to drain the battery but when i plugged it in to charge the blue screen came back on.I dont know what to do
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

To show the battery percentage used go to settings
from there click general scroll to usage and select
scroll to bottom of page for battery usage select on.
This will show the icon battery and the percent numbers on the top right.
When phone is connected to an outlet sometimes it does not always show complete charge. I do not understand why but it is what it is.

We had a MacBook Pro stolen from our home when we were out of town and I am pretty sure we never activated the LoJack type of function on it not sure if its called lojack but you get what I am saying is there any way we can activate such hardware/app now so we can possibly recover our laptop? Any one who can point us in the right direction that would be great and we would be very grateful. Today I deleted an email services I no longer need. Now when I go to the notes app I no longer have any notes. Is there any way to get my notes back. I have the first iPad running iOS 5.1.1
Ah, well, then the notes are probably gone. Did you save any of the email from that account on your computer? The notes might be there if you did.

I purchased Adobe Design Standard in June 1993 and have not downloaded it until now. when I click on the software on my account there is no download button. How can I download the software I purchased so long ago? I hope it is not money down the drain. Is there any phone number available so I can talk to an Adobe employee?
Which version of Design Standard are you asking about? I don't think any Creative Suite packages existed in 1993. I think the first CS came out in 2003.
