Updated to iOS 7.1.2 and now iMessage doesn't work

I updated my iPhone 5S to 7.1.2 lastnight and this morning my iMessage feature, YouTube, Break, and anything really needing to use data besides Safari and Chrome won't work. I've tried rebooting, clearing out all my messages/call log, turning iMessage off and back on, even being hooked onto wifi and none of these will work.
Anyone have any good suggestions to try?

Updated Mavericks to 10.9.3 and now scrolling doesn't work in Firefox.

I updated yesterday, and now the scroll wheel on my mouse (Belkin optical mouse) does not work in Firefox. It works everywhere else, just not in Firefox.

Can you scroll with the keyboard?
On Mac the scroll bars can be hidden and only have them show when you scroll the page so you can see the current scroll position.
The idea is that a touch pad is used that doesn't require the scroll bars to be visible and thus have more screen estate for the browsing area.
You can make the scroll bars always visible:
*System Preferences > General > Show Scroll Bar > Choose "Always"
Note that on Mac you can toggle full screen mode with Command+Shift+F.

Updated my Iphone 4s to iOS7 and now imessages won't work

After updating my phone my imessages aren't working (one of the many problems caused by the update). I've tried going under settings to turn on the imessages and logged in with my apple ID but it says it says "iMessage Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."

However I also have no facetime, and every time I use an app I get a message asking me to review the icloud terms and condition. Would happily do this but all it does is take me to a blank page. Apple support suggested resetting everything via settings, but icloud, facetime and imessaging are"greyed out".

I installed the BIOS update 3 days ago, I did have a couple programmes open at the time and also an external USB mouse in at the time. The hard drive crashed and then blacked out, but the power was still on with the fan working at full pelt. I attempted turning the computer off by the power button, but it wouldn't, so I let it run out of battery. Since then the computer seems to turn on but the screen has been blacked out ever since, so I cannot see what state the hard drive is in.
Any ideas?

Oh buddy, this sounds like that your ROM module is damged due a faulty BIOS update :(
Normally a BIOS update should *not* be done with running background programs (also antivirus). I think this was the reason why the update wasnt successfully.
However, you can do nothing. You will need help from a notebook technician that can try to reflash the ROM module. On the Toshiba page you can search for an ASP:

I've tried opening straight into other apps and just get error messages, and I the mail preview there is just a grey screen telling me the file name and size. It worked fine until I did the IOS upgrade

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

I updated to iOS 7 with no issues. Last night I went to update to iOS 7.0.3 and now my iPad wants me to connect it to iTunes. I tried holding down both buttons to restart and get the same message.

seems like your phone isn't activated properly. try doing a hard reset (hold power+home until phone restarts).
if you have a CDMA carrier, this might not fix it for you. call the carrier and ask them to reset the activation.

I was told to hold down the off button at the top of the handset at the same time as holding down the round menu button at the bottom of the handset for 20 seconds - the phone went off, then restarted and it all seems OK now.
