Updated to iOS 8.0.2. on iPad 2 = Problems
Hello,
after I've updated my iPad 2 to iOS 8.0.2. it doesn't play videos which are assigend as "TV Shows".
The videos are stil on the iPad, but after clicking them the player just opens for less than a second, screen jumps back to the videos. fin.
Please, fix this bug with real quick next update.

If you have a back up in iTunes or iCloud you can replace the contents that is currently on your iPhone with what is in that back up. You can also sync with iTunes to get your content back like it was before. Check out the articles below for more information.

Hi, I recently updated to iOS 8.0 on my Ipad mini however when i try to agree to the new terms and conditions i get an error message saying either 'Cannot connect to server' or 'Your session has timed out please try again' what can be done to resolve this problem? When I updated to iOS 8.1 on my iPad 2 it failed when installing it's in recovery mode and when I go to iTunes to restore it downloads the update to about 900 Mbps then gives me error 9006

How do I update my iOS? I have the iPad 1 and have tried over and over to try and update the iOS version to iOS 5.1, nothing works it will start updating then say that it did not update? PLEASE HELP!!! P.s I'm running newest version of iTunes.
Connect your iPad to your computer and let iTunes back up your iPad. After it does that disconnect it and go into your settings under general and under reset and select erase all content. After you do that reconnect to your computer, open iTunes and follow the screen options to set up your iPad as new. Once it is done doing that see if you have the latest version of iOS installed and if it does then either download gain the apps you had before or restore them from the backup made previous.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing performance issues with your device. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

These are user to user forums. Apple does not participate here and does not respond to posts. For the record, since the iPad 2 supports iOS 8 any attempt to update the iPad 2 will result in an update to 8.1. Apple only supports updating to the latest version of the operating system that the device supports.

You can't resolve the issue, because the original iPad can only be updated to iOS 5.1.1 and no further.

Tried to update to iOS 4.3, after that IPad won't work, HELP!!
So I hooked up my 64GB+3G t itunes and started to update my IPad, Took an hour to backup and then I came back to check on the IPad, It said there was an error updating. I was like no worry I will just stay with the 4.2.1 update. But when I ejected my IPad and it said it needed to connect to itunes, I did that and it wouldn't recognize my IPad. So I went on this forum and to see if restoring my IPad was the only choice. I did and people said that it won't restore it will just show another error code and that their IPad was utterly dead. You can only update it to iOS 5.1.1, that is the only version that is 'signed' by Apple for it.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button
