Updated to iOS 8 and can't connect to projector

I just updated my ipad to iOS 8.2 and can no longer connect to a projector. I am getting this error message. But the settings page indicates my OS updated successfully. How do I resolve this?

I can understand if you only read the friendly URL, you can imagine you have to jailbreak your device, but if you spend 1 minute reading the article, you'll see the steps to downgrade to 8.1.3.
Head over to this page and download iOS 8.1.3 IPSW for your iOS device. Ensure that you download the correct IPSW firmware according to the model number of your device. Installing the incorrect firmware could damage the iOS device. The download size of these files ranges from 1.5GB to 2GB. Therefore, downloading the firmware will take some time
Once you have the correct iOS firmware version downloaded, plug your iOS device to the computer using USB cable
Launch iTunes
Navigate to the device's summary page and hold the Option/Alt on the keyboard. Or, Shift if you are using Windows
While holding the key combination mentioned above, click Restore in iTunes
Browse to the location where you have saved the IPSW file and open it. Now iTunes will begin restoring your iPhone/iPad and install iOS 8.1.3
I did it and it works fine again !!

  • HT201320 I just update to iOS 7 and can't get separate email accounts

I just updated to iOS 7 on my iPhone and can no longer see my three separate email accounts.  The only thing that comes up is All Mail which merges my three accounts.  Anybody else having this problem?

I've had a simialr problem - but no love with the reset. I have also stopped itunes from syncing and then re-synced the accounts with no success - they all seem to be gone.
When I open the mail app it prompts me to add accounts but as I try to add them it says they are already there and indeed I can see them in settings but there seems to have been a disconnect somewhere when updating to ios7.

  • Updated to IOS 7 and can't restore data

I recently updated my IPhone 4 to ios 7 and it did the automatic backup it does right before updating. When it tried to restore, it have the error -1. I kept retrying and it still gave me the same issue every time I retried. I exited out and tried to do it again but I couldn't find the backup anymore. Does anyone know what's going on?

Try a different USB Cable... but if the Error persists you may have a Hardware issue.
Take your Phone in to Apple and have it checked.

  • Update has killed phone and can't connect to restore

I have just run the latest update to v4.5.0.174 but the install failed and now the phone only displays an icon that looks like a dialog box with a circle, square and triangle in it, behind a circle with a line through it.
I now can't get Desktop Manager to connect to the phone so I can't try to reinstall or even downgrade.
How do I get my phone back?
    Thanks
    Stuart

disconnect the BlackBerry from the USB and reboo the PC from off
try it all again now, see if the DM will recognize the BlackBerry.
if not, You will need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:

  • Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:  First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services".

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services".  I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC".  Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?  An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time.  Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music.  I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
    Anyone have any ideas?

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. • HT4972 I have an Ipod touch version 4.2.1 and the instructions do not detail how to update to iOS 5. Can you help with me step by step instructions.

I have an Ipod touch version 4.2.1 and the instructions do not detail how to update to iOS 5. Can you help me with step by step instructions.

iOS 4.2.1 suggests that you may have 2nd generation Touch, which cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1
Check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353  for help in identifying your model. A quicker method may be to check the back casing. If your iPod has Model No.A 1288 etched into it, then it's a 2nd gen Touch.
Assuming that you are using the latest version of iTunes (today, that is 10.6.3), to check if your iPod can be updated, connect it to your iTunes and look on the Device/Summary pane. Select Check for Updates. If there is one, you will see a message telling you that and how to install it. However, if you see a message saying that your iPod is up-to-date, then it cannot be updated.

  • In the middle of downloading an update for garage band and lost the connection, now the app won't open or finish the download.  Can I reinstall the app without losing my music?

In the middle of downloading an update for garage band and lost the connection, now the app won't open or finish the download.  Can I reinstall the app without losing my music?

The obvious way to resolve this on a computer would be to uninstall the app, then reinstall it, however on an iOS device that would cause all the data assoicated with the app to be thrown away.
Make sure your iTunes library has the latest updates for all your apps, then backup and restore the device. This should pull back a fresh copy of the app from your iTunes library and then give it the data from your device backup.
