Updated to IOS5 Now I get "No Service" :(

So I updated My Iphone4 to the New IOS 5. & It installed Fine everything ran smooth. Until like an hour later. I started to get "Searching..." & then "No Signal" at the top left corner of my phone...& i cant text or call. & get Service for about 10 seconds but after that it goes back to "Searching..." & "No Signal"...I Also cant recieve any Picture messages Anymore even with my 3G on. & my phone sometimes Freezes & the screen turns black & the only way to get out of it is to Hit the Power & Home Key for like 20 seconds til it restarts. soo many bugs!! Can anyone Help Please??
I was thinking about "Restoring" my phone. But I do not wanna loose my Pictures, Music, Contacts, Voicemails, Apps. & idk if i really trust "Backing Up"

I've looked on-line and it seems that many people are having the same problems. No, it's not my Internet connection or my computer. This is a software problem as my phone was working fine before it made me update and I've heard the same story over and over again. The update to ios5 messed up my phone. Now Apple should fix it. Updated to iOS5, now ipod says i'm in China

I updated my ipod to iOS5, and now my ipod says I'm in Shanghai, China.
I'm in the US.
The time, weather, and twitter trend list are all set to Shanghai. I even tried the locate my ipod thing and it said my ipod is in China, lol.
I know I can set the time manually, and I did, but everything else is messed up and it's bothering me. I never had this problem before I updated to iOS5.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

The iPod gets your location from identifying your router and then checking its (Apple's) database for the location in the router. If your router is not in its database there is nothing you can do to get it correctly entered. Shanghai may be the default location for routers not in the database. Apple will eventually scan your area and get your router into the database. Try taking your ipod to a site with a public wi-fi source. Connect to the wi-fi and see if your location works there.

- hard reset (hold power button and home button at same time until it resets with an apple on it)
- reset all settings (settings, general, reset)
- back up and restore (using an itunes on ur pc, make sure the itunes is updated)
try those in order. they will fix ur issue

I synced my phone this morning, updated the software this afternoon, and now a movie I purchased a month ago is not on my phone or my iTunes. Where did it go and how can I get it back?

You are right. It was not exaclty the moving to iCloud that caused the e-mail to disappear. What happened after the change to iCloud was that I did see my old email but when I tried to open it just does not show any content.
Then I looked at some options and did Choose Mailbox > Rebuild.
That is when all my old mail disapeared.
Any suggestions?

Just updated tiger and now cannot get into Computer-HELP!!

Was having issues with iPhoto and importing images. Would get the darkened screen telling me I needed to do a hard restart on the machine. Happened a couple of times, so fixed permissions to start and then ran a system update.
Now, when I restart I get the password login screen (had automatic login enabled previously). The passwords for both accounts do not work and I know I'm typing them in properly. When I try to boot up of the CD to either reset the password or run disc utility, I get a DOS screen with words such as:
Unable to find finder driver for this platform
panic (CPU 0 caller
no debugger configured
panic: we are hanging here
Has anyone else had access issues since running the latest Tiger updates?

I'd imagine because of the fact that you had a hard drive problem and the system update touches system files... if they aren't written back correctly this could cause a huge problem.

I recently updated software and now I get an error message -45054 when I try to pull up itunes. anyone know why

Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:
... and click OK.
Quit the QuickTime Player if you have it open. Restart the PC and try watching the videos in iTunes again. Do they play now?

TS1717 I tried updating iTunes and now I get an error. I followed instructions to uninstall and then reinstalled but the error I get Is "Error 7 (Windows error 193)" - anyone help?

Error 7 (Windows error 193) was received when I just tried to update iTunes on my Windows 7 computer. I've uninstalled and tried twice to reinstall and I get the same message. Does anyone have any additional suggestions? During install I do get a message about the mobile device but I do not have iTunes on my mobile phone.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Upgraded to IOS 5 on my Iphone 4 and now whenever I send texts to blackberry users I get a messge send failure.

After Updating to iOS5 my G4 gets to warm

I updated to iOS 5. Since my G4 gets very warm and looses battery-power very quickly.

I resolved the problem. It is the interaction between MobilMe-Mail-account an iCloud. You have to erase the mobilme Mail-account on all devices after having transferred all data to icloud and desable all syncs (ical, bookmarks,etc.) exclude Mail in other accounts.
I did so and the iPhone battery-life acts as before having updated.
Try it and good luck.

I updated iPhoto. Now I get fuzzy photos on computer when I try to print.

I finally took the chance and did an update on my computer and on iPhoto. When I try to print a perfectly in focus photo it comes out fuzzy. Also, when I go into an event and click to see one photo it comes up very, very large and I only see a small part of the photo. Wishing I had left well enough alone.

What exactly did you do? Updating your OS and/or iPhoto does not have any affect on photo resolution
What are the pixel dimensions of one of these photos?
