Updated to os4.3.3 and to itunes 10.2.2 and ipod touch will no longer work (sync) to computer. I have removed all Apple Software and reinstalled and this did not fix the probelm
I updated my ipod touch 3rd generation to the new operating system 4.3.3 and itunes to the latest. I have a WindowsXP machine all was working fine until the updates. Since then after trying many things. Currently unable to transfer music to the ipod.
Found solution after trying many things that were recommended in the Apple error messages.
The problem was resolved after I totally removed my Security Software.

I have upgrade my phone to iOS7 and my company recently upgraded to Exchange 2010. My emails are not synching to my inbox. I can only see my Sent items. I have already deleted the account 3 times but this did not fix the inbox problem.
You need to have a different Apple ID for each of the other devices.

Experiencing trouble syncing with the 10.3 version of iTunes on my Windows Vista machine. Have uninstalled all Apple software twice, reinstalled and continue to get an error 7 message in connection with the Photo Processor. Any other ideas to try?

got it fixed! My Son had both files on his Win7 iTunes installation. Never mind he had no issues whith ths iTunes and iPhone Sync. So I checked my other Win XP PC, where I don't have this problem syncing my ipad, and surprise. Both files do NOT show up on this PC. So I renamed the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe I found under c:\program file\iTunes and synced again my iPhone and it went through without any error. So the problem might be and unremoved iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe or the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll under the iTunes install root folder and this even if I had checked that the folder was completely removed during iTunes unistall.
Please try yourselve and just rename the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe to iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe_ under c:\program file\iTunes or get a copy of the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll and cp to c:\program file\iTunes. -
My mac hung up while installing an update. It took hours and still did not complete the update. I restarted my mac. Upon turning it back on, a wheel has been spinning on a grey screen. I tried to reinstall OS X from utilities, but encounter an error. What do I do?

First point of call on all grey screen issues is the following:

Given this issue has appeared after a software update, I'd advise you do the following instead though:
1. Get an external hard drive, with enough space to put the entire hard drive of your Mac onto. Make sure you've safely copied any data you have off of it, as the next step will erase it.
2. In the recovery HD of your machine, use Disk Utility to format you EXTERNAL hard drive with the partition table as GUID, and the format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
3. Get out of Disk Utility, and click Reinstall Mac OS X.
4. When asked where, choose to install onto your external hard drive.
5. When the download and installation is complete, your Mac will reboot into a clean fresh setup screen. Make your user account an administrator, and make up a name and password; I use 'Test' and 'test'.
6. Your machine is now running from the external hard drive, not the internal hard drive, so don't be alarmed when you don't see your files.
7. Open the finder, you should see 'Macintosh HD' in the sidebar. This is the internal hard drive of your computer.
8. Open Macintosh HD, and copy out the following folders into a new folder on your desktop:
-Users.
-Applications.
-Library. (This only needs to be done if you use 3rd party software that saves things in the /Library, do a quick google and see if it does e.g. Photoshop, Protools).
9. When these have copied (it'll take quiet a while), you can now use Disk Utility to erase your hard drive. Don't erase Macintosh HD but the ENTIRE hard drive on the inside of your Mac, and as Thomas A Reed mentioned, there was likely an existing issue on your HDD so please go to Security Options and choose 'Zero Out' before clicking erase. This will rebuild the partition table which was a possible cause of the failed update.
10. Reboot the machine holding 'Option', go to recovery HD.
11. Choose 'Reinstall Mac OS X', this time onto your INTERNAL hard drive.
12. When this is complete, make another admin user called test and password test, like you did last time.
13. Run Software Update from the menu of your Mac.
14. In the Finder, you should see your external Hard Drive. open it up, inside that you should see your desktop etc, and on the desktop will be your folder containing Library, Applications and Users.
15. Go to Finder up next to the and choose File -> New Finder Window.
16. In your second finder window, open up Macintosh HD (through the Go -> Computer menu), and go to your Users folder.
17. Open the Users folder in your first finder window, and copy your user folder (has your name on it) into the second user folder (the one inside Macintosh HD).
18. This might take a while.
19. When complete, go to System Preferences -> Users and Groups and unlock the padlock.
20. Click the '+' sign, and make a new administrator user.
21. Now, the fun bit. Note the name of your user folder you copied, e.g. 'Nathan', containing all of your stuff. Note the difference between your user folder (has your name on it) and the Users folder (contains YOUR user folder, guest folder and shared folder).
22. Make the ACCOUNT NAME of your new adminstrator user the EXACT name of your user folder (normally lower case and without spaces), this is case sensitive folks. Your full name can be whatever you want, usually your full name.
23. Then click create. You should be informed that a home folder with that name in it already exists in the Users folder, would you like to make your new account from that folder? say YES!
24. When this is complete, log out of the Test user, log into your new account we've just made, all your stuff should be there.
25. ???????
26. Profit.
There's a few little bits that may need to be cleaned up afterwards, applications folder from your external hard drive should replace the applications folder on your internal hard drive, if the previously mentioned /Library folder contained important goodies then that should replace the /Library folder on your new Mac.
Hopefully that will help you out, straight after that is done make sure your stuff is there, erase your external hard drive and turn on time machine! -
When I visit sites such as ESPN where the news and headlines change daily or even hourly for some reason my browser loads the site from a few days ago. I try to refresh the page but that does not fix the problem. I have cleared all history, cache, etc... that did not work. I added a ? to the end of the URL and that loaded a different page but still not the current new head lines. It's almost like it is stuck with the info from a previous visit.

Charged for 2 FREE service calls/costing $70 each and they DID NOT fix the problem.
My service was interupted DAILY between 2:45pm - 6pm and sometimes 7pm. I contacted someone in the chat room and explained, they said they would send someone out and there would be NO CHARGE...I made sure and they said, Rest assured that there will be no charge" They did send someone out, around 11am, and said, hey, it's a gold signal splitter, I'll replace it with this new one. Well, they did. A few minute job. Well, 2:45pm rolled around and guess what? SIGNAL LOSS on tv and cable...till about 6pm. Well, next day i contacted them, and same scenario. They sent someone out-around 12pm, and said, oh the coaxial connecters are a "little loose". Well, he tightened them...a few minute "fix". Well, 2:45pm rolls around and AGAIN SIGNAL LOSS, no internet and NO TV till 6:30pm. Well, I've had enough so I cancelled service..Now I check my bill and 2 service calls for $70 each plus $15 tax totalling $155. I talked to someone in the chat room and told them this scenario. Well, they said they can waive 1 of the service call, but since my equipment is owned by me and not rented, I have to pay and that in their notes, it never said that I would get a free service call. The problem is that it NEVER was fixed and the problem had nothing to do with the signal splitter or connections, but something in the neighborhood, in which I saw 2 Xfinity service trucks on my street when I came home. So I am out $85 for something they did not fix-apparently something going on connectionwise in the neighborhood. ALSO WATCH OUT FOR CHAT ROOM REPS THAT SAY IT WILL BE A FREE SERVICE CALL. THEY LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was billed $99.99 to my credit card to a tech in the country of India.
I tried to get my money back but the number I was referred to would not answer.
I immediately went to my bank which took all of the info and changed my credit card number.
The bank also did their own investigation and said it seemed to be a scam. My money was redeposited into my account within 36 hours - not because of anything Verizon did, but my BANK!! I was so grateful.
Such service from Verizon's tech department is unethical and inexcusable.
Verizon customers deserve better tech service than this. "Ma Bell" would turn over in her grave if she knew how far down the service of the original phone company has gone. It's a disgrace!! A SCAM perpetuated and sanctioned by Verizon.
I complained to the Verizon Customer Correspondance Claim Dept. Do you think they will straighten this mess out? I doubt it - I am a retiree with an excellent payment record.
They don't care. This hurts the American economy. -
Firefox opens a new window every time I click a link. I reset FF and it did not fix the problem.
When I click on any link, the browser opens a new window. I have searched the browser options to fix this and have not found a place to select a different option. I have reset Firefox and checked all of my plugins and have not found anything that seem to be related to my problem. Sometimes, Firefox will work normally for the first few minutes of use and then start opening a window for everything.
By normally, I mean that I click a link and it opens the link in the same tab that I'm browsing. Some links will open in a new tab, depending on the type of link. Mostly, they open in new windows no matter what.Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

the details are pretty much the same as the question. I cannot get any content to load without wiggling my mouse across the page that is trying to load. The busy circle just spins and spins but nothing loads without moving the mouse.

Suddenly, as of two weeks ago, iTunes will no longer play any music. I tried reinstalling but this did not work either. I have a PC with Windows Vista. Has anyone else experienced this problem and fixed it?
Yes, I just tried playing a 10-second mp3 file I acquired from The Oatmeal and didn't once pass my external hard disk. It's a simple, monotone, high-frequency sound, but I get the same results: VLC's UI is still responsive, but its functionality freezes up, i.e. the buttons are still animated, and the menu still works, but there's no sound, the progress bar doesn't move, and the file doesn't play.

My IPhone 4s is freezing up and the wifi will not work. This happened after the update. I have tried to restore it and that did not fix it. Any suggestions?
Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again. -
iOS 7.0.3 did not fix the mirroring issue with ATVs and AirServer. Anyone have an idea what needs to be done? The only solution we have found is to reboot the iPad. We don't have the option of restarting the wireless as so many people are on and it would further disrupt classes.

I am trying to update iTunes so that I can sync my new iPhone. I get a message Error 7 (Windows Error 127). I have uninstalled all Apple software and tried to reload with no luck. I have also cleaned my computer's registry with registry cleaning software. Even tried reloading operating system disk to fix errors. Any ideas?
