Updateing movies in itunes then movie wont work???

hi there can anyone help me with this promlem!
when i try to change the name or put the artwork on some of my movies in itunes, it wont do it then the file/movie wont work??
does anyone know what the problem is?
any advice would be great.

Whilst I'm not absolutely sure what happens to the macroblock count when using the anamorphic flag, plain old mpeg4 does have low limits compared to AVC and I suspect you may be exceeding the mpeg4 resolution limit of 720 x 432. I feel that if you were to use AVC rather than mpeg4 your problem may well disappear. Your encoding times will increase, but so will your quality, mpeg4 at 1500 kbps is not really the best quality. Think of mpeg4 quality being half that of AVC at the same resolution, so your output quality is equivalent to AVC at 750 kbps, I use AC at 2500 kbps and many go even higher.

Hello .. Im really hoping someone can give me some advice or help with this as I have been trying for hours to try and fix!
I have been using itunes on my computer with no problem at all..
Last night I down loaded a new version of Itunes [itunes64setup] - my itunes has since decided not to work and my computer now keeps restarting itself!
I have tried to uninstall itunes completley and I get various messages - basically it gets so far and then crashes advising that it cannot uninstall!!
I have windows 8 on this system and wondering if it is a compatability issue!!
Im totally at a loss - any help would be greatly appreciated!!

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.

In iTunes 11 that's the default behaviour. You can change this by right-clicking a title in iTunes, choosing 'Get Info' and changing the Video Kind field to "Movie" or "TV Show". You can also change it to "Music Video" but then the video will be moved to the Music section.
You can also select multiple video titles simultaniously and do the above step for all videos at once. This will save a lot of clicks if you have a long list of videos.

ITunes and Quicktime wont work

did the usual upgrades and know iTunes and Quicktime wont work - They wont even launch. Im running 10.3.9 and cant upgrade to 10.4 do to the fact that my Pro tools system is not compatible w/10.4. the upgrade said it would run on 10.3.9 now im dead in te water. I tried to install the early version of both but it wont let me "because it knows I have a newer version on there" QT 7.0.3 and the iTunes upgrade- If uninstalling QT & iTunes & then reinstalling earlier version again will work HOW DO I UNINSTALL THEM ? IF IT WONT WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP - I HAVE TO GET THIS SYSTEM UP AGAIN BY TOMMOROW.

I will tell you how to do it but first promise that you will run Disk Repair (single user mode, install disk, or shift key held down at boot) and then repair permissions before trying to reinstall the packages.
Also, download the combo installer for 10.3.9 and run it again.
If none of the above works then you can go to Library/receipts/and the version of itunes and Quicktime that you want to install.
Drag them to the desktop and try reinstalling the updaters for itunes and Quicktime. It should work.

Once the movie has completey download, having an Internet connection is no longer necessary. It would be wise to test the movie before you leave, though, in case of glitches.

If you no longer have it the Movies part of your computer's iTunes library, nor on your backup of your downloads/library, then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes - whether films show there will depend upon what country that you are in (you can't redownload films in all countries), and whether the studio/right-holder allows redownloading (and items will only show for redownloading whilst they remain in your country's store).

If you want to watch on your iPad screen, you don't even need airplay.
If you want to watch on a television screen, you need an AppleTV.
In both cases...
If the movies are purchased, there is no need for an Internet connection to the outside world. If they're rented, you need an Internet connection for the first minute or so that Apple knows that you're watching the movie. I do not know if a rented movie can be stopped and restarted without an Internet connection.

I just bought the new iphone5 but I cant sync it with my computer. I need to download the latest version of itunes but it wont work. Right now I have itunes 10.6.3 I tried to download but it says I need a newer version and I cant do it.

FR Movies arrangement (iTunes vs Movies folder)

Front Row lists all Movies from my iTunes Library first and then the movies in my structured folders from inside my Movies folder at the bottom of the list.
This is really annoying, because my movies in iTunes are low quality (for my iPod only), which I do not want to see on my TV through Front Row; and the movies in iTunes are all just listed and not categorised, whereas the ones in my Movies folder are structured neatly in my folders (eg: Movies\HiQuality MP4\Animation or Movies\HiQuality MP4\Sport\Surfing).

iTunes Movie 1
iTunes Movie 2
iTunes Movie 3
iTunes Movie 4
iTunes Movie 5
iTunes Movie 6
HiQuality MP4 -> Sport -> Surfing -> Surf movie 1
This is why I would like the Movies in iTunes to either appear at the bottom of the list or in a separate folder called "iTunes Movies" or something like that or make them disappear completely (but keep them in iTunes for the iPod). So that the Hi-quality ones are at the top of the Front Row list (and therefore at the top of the screen) & neatly structured.
Any ideas how to do this?
