Updater keeps telling me I'm resuming a download when I'm not

worked just fine until recently. I have a MacMini Intel & am running CS3. When I open InDesign the Adobe updater comes on & checks for updates but stops giving me the above message. Can't figure it out.
(recently installed the 5.0.4 patch for ID...could this be the problem?

Good News everyone! Went back online; relocated the update for Adobe Updater for Mac (4.0.3). Downloaded & installed it. Then went back & opened InDesign. Selected Updates under Help & THIS TIME it brought up an "update for the Updater" (?)- which downloaded & installed.
After this, the Updater checked again & I got an update for Acrobat Prof 8.1.3, which I installed.
The updater now seems to be working fine. thanks for all your help & comments.

Why do website forums keep telling me that my messages contain HTML, when they do not contain any HTML code at all?

I am hoping someone more intelligent than me, can help me out here, as I've got a really infuriating problem.
I tend to visit a lot of online forums, especially in recent days those at Sky (http://helpforum.sky.com/) and Vodafone (http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/)
Whenever I log in, and try and post a message, I keep getting a very annoying error message that says:
"Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."
The problem is, I never use ANY HTML code, as I don't know what it is. I do use spaces, capital letters, standard punctuation marks, and carriage returns/paragraph breaks. This problem doesn't manifest itself on Internet Explorer, nor Opera, nor Chrome.
So what's going on please?!

Why does the Firefox home page keep telling me I'm up to date when I'm not?

The Firefox home page, found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/ or by redirection from www.mozilla.com or www.firefox.com, tells me my version of Firefox is up to date. It isn't.
I'm currently running 11.0 (and should have 12.0) but this has been happening for quite some time now; that page just seems to always say you're up to date, no matter what.

Just upgraded to ISO8 and now my iphone 4s won't connect to home wifi - keeps telling me that the password is incorrect when it's not - help please.......

Please help me - I've just upgraded my Iphone 4s to ISO8 and now I can't connect to wifi - was at my friends yesterday - always use his wifi and even though the password was correct, it wouldn't accept it. Came home and had the same problem. I can't use my data plan as it wouldn't be enough so now it's chewing through it.........The only thing I did different was upgrade......... I'm not computer savy so please leave me step by step instruction on how to fix if you can. I've tried rebooting etc and turning everything off - no luck.......

Have you tried resetting the network settings? Sometimes starting from scratch solves the issue and it is the simplest way I can think of that may solve your problem.
1. Go to Settings > General > Reset
2. Then select Reset Network Settings
3. Enter your password when it requests it
After the phone finishes the reset try adding your Wi-Fi again and see if that works. If not, I would back-up your phone to your computer, then reset the whole phone by following the same instructions above, but choosing Reset All Content and Settings at step two. Make sure you backup your phone first though! Otherwise you will lose all the stuff on your phone when you make this selection.

Did you try recovery mode? Hold down the home button as you connect it to iTunes. iTunes should pop up a window that says "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode" and give you the option to restore.
