okay peeps im just about to pull all my bloody hairs out!! everytime i plug in my ipod the ipod updater window pops up and says that it needs to be reformated..great!! i do that and its successful..and then a screen says i need 2 plug it in2 my charger..good!! thats done..then plug it bak in2 my comp 2 upload sum jams..then the updater window bloody pops up agn telling me da same thing from b4..theres no othe way i can fink of 2 fix dis prob..all i noe is that reformating it 10 alredy has done me no good..CAN SUMBODY HELP ME ASAP!!!

It is not telling you to update your iphone, it is telling you that you need to update itunes on your computer.

I'm running 10.4.11 and am unable to find the plugin updates that Firefox keeps telling me I need on an annoying little popup window that keeps coming up whenever I download a page using Firefox. The pluin updates I need are for Quicktime, Java to name a few. Is Apple not supplying any more plugin update because I'm using an old version of Mac OSX? The firefox plugin page tells me that Apple supppies their own plugins but I don't see any when I use Apple Software Update. Any suggestions?
Do what others do and get TenFourFox - the equivalent of the latest Firefox but built especially for PPC: http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
To enable plug-ins:
Put about:config in TenFourFox's address bar and hit return
Put tenfourfox.plugins in the search box and hit return
Click tenfourfox.plugins.enabled to set it to true
Restart TenFourFox
TenFourFox will now use the Safari Flash plug-in -
When I try to install apps to my iPad it keeps telling me it needs iOS 6 but when connect to iTunes it says it's up to date even when connected to a wifi......how do I upgrade when it says it's up to date????
If you have the iPad 1 it cannot be updated beyond iOS 5.1.1 so you as as up-to-date as you can be.
Check with the app developer to see if there are older versions of these apps which run on iOS 5. -

I am using a Mac with OS X Yosemite Ver. 10.10.1, Adobe Version 11.0..1 (which is the latest for Mac)
It is an online PDF and I am using Safari Ver. 8.0.2

I am trying to get some advice as to why my Ipod will not completely sync since I updated Itunes. Itunes keeps telling me it can not sync my Ipod due to a duplicate file name? It will sync some of my songs but not all of them. Any thoughts?
Most likely the iPod filesystem is corrupted, during a partial sync, that freeze due to a timeout.
In My Computer, select the iPod, right click Properties->Tools->Check Now
tick both Fix filesystem and scan.for bad sectors.
This will fix the duplicate name error.

Installed EnSharpen to watch AVIs, but QT keeps telling me I need it.
I am unable to consistently see the video when playing .AVIs. QT tells me I need to download a plug in.
I followed the links and downloaded EnSharpen Video Codec. I installed (and reinstalled and re-reinstalled.) But QT keeps telling me I need the plug in. These AVIs are tracks on a set of CDs that are all part of a home study course. Some CDs have 6 tracks and only one track gives me a problem. Other CDs have problems with all the tracks.
I get audio, but no video--just a blank white screen.
Any ideas?

ITunes keeps telling me I need to authorize...
iTunes keeps telling me I need to authorize my new computer and then tells me I already have but won't let me play some of my music as the "you need to authorize" popup, comes right back. What can I do to fix this? One of my friends said that I could hook my iPod back up and it should fix it but I don't want to do that until I'm sure as I don't want it to decide I can't play the music from my iPad either. I can still play the music on my old laptop so I just don't want to jinx things.

I have tried all the troubleshooting tips online but my Classic ipod doesnt work. My Itunes keeps telling me that it cannot restore the ipod because the ipod is busy. What can I do?
Have you tried rebooting for the Mac and iPod to see if that helps? To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
It wouldn't hurt to also try plugging the iPod into another USB port and use a different USB sync cable.

Quit Aperture, if it is running/ hanging.
Remove the file com.apple.Aperture.plist from the folder
Your home folder > Library > Preferences
The User Library is hidden by default. You can reveal it from the Finder's "GO" menu:
Finder > Go, then hold down the options ⌥ key, until the Library appears in the drop-down menu, select it and open the Library folder. Then go to the "Preferences" sub folder and remove the file
your Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist.
After removing the user preferences file, you will have to reset the Preferences, you selected in Aperture's preferences panel.

Does anyone know what is going on with this program, besides having some very sophisticated reporting software installed within the programThe 3.6.8.version will not update. It locks up. ALSO the flash player is 10.1.r82, in the 3.6.8 version however if enabled will cause firefox to crash without any user intervention. Starts, loads approx 20 seconds, disappears. No problem with flash player and/or firefox until firefox update. Then all went to%$!!. Chrome is looking better all the time.
