Updater probs (error U44M1P7)

Question

I have CS6 Web Premium installed on my Mac Pro early 2008. Whenever I try to update it, I get errors with the following:
Adobe CSXS InfrastructureCS6
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
DPS Desktop Tools CS6 2.02 Update
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
I've run the Cleaner tool and done a complete uninstall and reinstall. I've also tried downloading and reinstalling these items from Adobe directly, as well as the Application and Extension Managers.

Same issue here: both the latest updates for Extension Manager and Configurator fail with all attempts, including DLs direct from Adobe site.
